Everything was good

Really good, overall strongly above average quality. Bedroom + small living room with a microwave, sink and even a dishwasher. Clean, AC worked fine. The hotel has free washing machines (very rare, and useful for longer travel), dryers are paid (6 GBP, sadly, only in coins). The location is within walking distance to several major London spots (eg. Big Ben, London Eye), easy access to public transport.

There were minor issues. One is that the bathroom was completely missing toilet paper when we arrived, the way to contact the reception is through whatsapp. The person at the other end replied that they will send someone ("we will send someone shortly"). We left the room. 2+ hours later we came back, nothing happened, had to go to the reception myself, ask the person there for toilet paper, have to bring it up. Why promise to send someone if nothing happens? No reply would be somehow better. One dryer (the furthest to the door) had problems, it showed an error message about a clogged drain, and the message stops the drying. I mentioned it to the reception, and the issue in total wasted a lot of time, but ok, that can happen. The real issue is that when I came the next day to wash something else, I saw other guests using the exact same drain and having the exact same problem (drain error message). The issue was simply ignored, and other people paid money and wasted time on a know problematic machine. At the very least, the proper course of action would have been to tape a message that the specific machine has issues. Those two are staff organization issues, which are minor and easy to improve. There's one architectural issue and that's the shower's design. It has no door, just a piece of flat glass, and level difference is very low. It's hard to avoid splashing a lot of water onto the bathroom's floor. Still, it's very rare to even have a washing and drying machines in a hotel, so I didn't deduct 1 for this reason. The score would be 10, if not for promising to send someone and then absolutely nothing happening.

Lo único es que si llegas antes de las 15h se requiere un pago de 30 libras para poder realizar el check-in, pero es algo que informan previamente con la información de la reserva.

Room was great, we were 3 girls and it was awesome. The location is good since it is near the waterloo station. We did not take breakfast so we cannot judge it.

The location was great - close to Waterloo station, bus lines, and 15 min walk to London Eye/Big Ben, hot shower/water pressure, close to souvenir shops and market.

The half shower door. Half your body is cold. No face towels to shower with. The TV in the sitting area didn’t work great. TV in bedroom was super small.

El hotel está ubicado en Westminter Bridge Road, en menos de 5 minutos estás cruzando el puente con vistas al Palacio de Westminster y el Big Ben. Se puede ir caminando en unos 20-30 minutos a Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Soho, Covent Garden. Esta cerca de SouthBank Centre, London Eye. Un hotel moderno, limpio, con buenos servicios y personal muy amable. Sin duda repitiría en este hotel. Muy buena relación calidad-precio en una ubicación fantástica que nos permitió disfrutar mucho de la ciudad. Tiene el metro de Lambeth North a 3 minutos suficiente para enlazar con las líneas importantes, pero que apenas usamos.

Todo me gustó bastante en este hotel, quizás si limpiasen la habitación cada día en lugar de cada dos días y que el baño fuese un poco más amplio.

Breakfast offered a variety of healthy options we were happy it was included with our stay. The staff were polite, and our room was quiet. They offered umbrellas and had water for free available in the lobby. Overall good stay.

Hotel vicino alla stazione della metro, per cui comodo. Buonissima la colazione che era molto varia e abbondante. In Hotel è possibile mangiare e bere qualcosa la sera e questo è un valore aggiunto. Camera funzionale e tranquilla.

The hotel is clean with perfect location.

The window handle had been removed so that the window could not be opened. I understand that this may have been done to meet safety standards, particularly as the window frames are quite old. However, from a guest’s perspective, this is still a significant inconvenience. Personally, I find it difficult to imagine a four-star hotel without any option for fresh air in the room. We were able to deal with the issue ourselves, as we work with windows, but another guest might not have been able to do so and could have felt as though they were in a prison cell.

questo aparthotel è stato molto accogliente sia nel momento del nostro arrivo che durante tutta la permanenza. Lo staff è stato presente quando abbiamo avuto bisogno. La posizione è meravigliosa, ad un passo dal Big Ben. Ottimo anche la possibilità di riempire le borracce con acqua filtrata.

Très bien situé pour visiter Londres, proche de Big Ben et très facile d'accès via le métro.

Camera quadrupla ampia con cucina annessa, ben arredata, posizione eccezionale, a due passi da tutte le principali attrazioni di Londra e dai mezzi pubblici. Zona piuttosto tranquilla anche in relazione al traffico. Personale gentilissimo, ci hanno fatto lasciare un mare di bagagli sia prima che dopo, aiutandoci. Rapporto prezzo/qualità eccezionale, stanza molto pulita per lo standard londinese.

La pulizia delle stanze viene effettuata a giorni alterni, se la si vuole tutti i giorni, bisogna richiederla (non ho capito se con supplemento)

La vista dalla camera al nono piano è stata meravigliosa e consiglio vivamente di scegliere la tipologia "camera con vista città". La posizione è perfetta, due passi e ci trovavano al london eye. Oltretutto attraversavamo la strada e c'era la fermata metro di lambert nord, mentre a 400m c'è la fermata della linea ferroviaria southern raylway (london waterloo) che porta a Gatwick con uno scalo solo (45/50 min). Ottima la palestra interna. Ottima anche la strada su cui affaccia con due supermercati e vari negozi di souvenir.

La colazione è molto scarna (non avevano neanche il latte senza lattosio e le bevande calde sono solo dalla macchinetta automatica), non la riprenderei. La camera ha avuto problemi allo scarico dell'acqua nel lavandino, risolto con un paio di interventi. Le camere vengono pulite ogni due giorni, cosa per me non ammissibile per un 4 stelle.

It’s included here as saying it has parking - it doesn’t, and there’s a bus lane right outside so not even somewhere to comfortably unload the car. The parking recommended was a 15 minute walk away past Waterloo station

It was a great location, very close to two underground stations and bus stops made our commute much easier. We also found the surrounding area was safe for visitors and close proximity for mini super markets and there was great street and local food places at walking distance.

Small things in the room for efficiency. No outlet besides shaver outlet, could mount tv on the wall to make room for cabinet.

we came with a lady who is a wheelchair user, the space in the rooms was excellent, all the facilities were, the staff were so helpful and polite they couldn't do enough for you, the hotel smelt amazing and was exceptionally clean. very central for everything we wanted to do and explore, there is a carpark a 5minutes walk away.

Location was absolutely great, easy walk everywhere and we got a room on 10th floor and the views didn't disappoint, would definitely book again. Everywhere was very clean and smelt nice, we've not used the restaurant nor other facilities on this occasion

The shower was nice size but the lighting in the bathroom was very poorly planned, you couldn't do your make up properly anywhere in the room as all the light was falling on your face from above and none from in front of you. Although everywhere was really clean and the rooms had aircon (not needed when we stayed though) the communal areas such as lifts and corridors were extremely hot even now in the cooler weather. In the lifts especially you would start sweating if it were to make a stop at few of the levels.

**Extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience** This was, without question, the worst hotel experience I have ever had. My belongings were stolen while I was inside the hotel reception/lobby area. I never imagined that I could experience something like this inside a hotel, especially in the reception area where guests naturally expect a reasonable level of security and assistance. What shocked me even more than the theft itself was the way the situation was handled. I felt that people around me were simply watching without any meaningful intervention or sense of urgency. The general attitude seemed to be that these things happen, rather than recognizing how serious and distressing the situation was for a guest who had just had personal belongings stolen. What I found particularly insensitive was that only minutes after discovering that my belongings had been stolen, while I was still trying to understand what had happened and deal with the situation, someone approached me regarding payment of the hotel bill. At that moment, I expected concern, support and assistance — not to be immediately asked about payment. The overall level of hospitality was also extremely disappointing. Despite the amount paid for the stay, there was no meaningful assistance with our luggage when arriving or even when checking out. I understand that a hotel cannot necessarily prevent every incident, but the true standard of hospitality is demonstrated by **how a hotel responds when something serious happens to a guest on its premises**. Unfortunately, based on my experience, the response, support and level of care were far below what I would expect from a professional hotel. I left feeling extremely disappointed, unsupported and shocked by the entire experience. **This was the worst hospitality experience I have ever had, and certainly not an experience I would ever want to repeat.**

La posizione è ottima: vicino al centro, alla fermata dell'autobus e alla metropolitana. Le camere offrono varie prese per ricaricare i dispositivi. Nel mio caso ho avuto la fortuna di trovare il legno in terra. L'angolo cottura in camera è comodo se non si vuole mangiare sempre fuori, ma noi non lo abbiamo usato. La struttura è in generale pulita, personale cordiale.

Farei la pulizia della camera tutti i giorni invece che ogni due. Aggiungerei dei ganci in più in bagno per gli asciugamani. Se si arriva tardi a fare colazione si può trovare la fila. La colazione può andare bene, ma è migliore la parte salata rispetto al dolce, avrei gradito qualche torta o qualcosa in più per variare. La macchina del caffè ha avuto spesso problemi.

Inevitable odors of food - cooking from pre occupants in hotel rooms were not completely eliminated. Undesirable odors were disturbing and hotel management were unable to provide alternative accommodation. Spraying fragrances were only temporary solutions.

Excellent choice for families visiting London We had a wonderful stay at Marlin Waterloo and would highly recommend it, especially for families travelling with children. The location is excellent – Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye and South Bank are all just a short walk away. The Underground is about a minute away, and Waterloo Station (with both Underground and national rail services) is also within easy walking distance. The kitchenette was a huge advantage when travelling with children, especially with a supermarket and café directly below the hotel. The room was comfortable and well equipped. The bathroom was a little small, but functional, with lovely L’Occitane toiletries. The hotel is modern, welcoming and well maintained, and we felt it offered very good value for money for central London. The staff were wonderful. A special mention to Maria, who went above and beyond to help us – her kindness and professionalism really stood out. A comfortable, convenient and very family-friendly base for exploring London. Highly recommended!

The small kitchen was amazing. I just wish they had some pans. It’s close the the metro and about a ten minute walk to the London eye. There are two small supermarkets near and a pret The bed is ok but the sofa bed I felt it was uncomfortable. So get two beds if possible
