The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The ocean view was beautiful, and the location was convenient. Communication with the host was excellent, and the check-in/check-out process was smooth

I wouldn’t know as I was left stranded with no access

I booked more than hour in advance and the property was not ready for check in at the proposed time . When I called the host - they lied and led me on - which was still fine and I allowed it but 30 minutes later I became impatient as they said they were cleaning up from 4 pm . When I called again I was abusively spoken to and screamed at to have the call cut and they cancelled my booking - I was left stranded until booking .com arranged an alternate accommodation but 2 hrs later - I ask please don’t support these arrogant people . It’s not right for them not to value us as clients .

Great location, safe and secure, beautiful views and best of all, it’s peaceful and quiet The apartment is tastefully decorated, furnished with everything you would need. Thoughtful touches, like snacks n cold drinks were appreciated

I would suggest bath sheets instead of towels. It would also be great if host had enquired before leaving a bottle of wine for guests who don’t drink alcohol.

I recently stayed at Quayside 308 on the Water - Ocean View for 6 nights with my 4-year-old daughter, and I cannot recommend it enough! To be completely honest, everything about this place exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in, the hosts’ attention to detail was obvious. The apartment was incredibly clean, beautifully designed, and has this quirky, chic aesthetic—it’s not massive, but they’ve made it look fantastic and utilized the space perfectly. They even had the TV already playing our favorite movie when we arrived! I honestly have no idea how they knew, but it was such a thoughtful touch. They also provided complimentary coffee, tea, and still water, which really says a lot about how generous the hosts are. The location is extraordinarily quiet compared to other parts of the city (and the continent, for that matter!). We felt completely safe. The area is highly secure with camera access, making things very simple, and the security guards were incredibly polite and always smiled at us and my daughter. Plus, it’s really close to the shops, so you practically have everything that matters right on your doorstep. Ordering food was super easy too; Uber Eats always arrived incredibly fast, and everything went smoothly. As a parent, the amenities were an absolute lifesaver. Having a washer with a built-in dryer meant I could wash and dry our clothes instantly. There was a huge amount of space for all our clothes, plus an iron and ironing board so you can press whatever you need. The apartment is fully equipped with a microwave, shampoo in the bathroom, and they even had swimming towels ready for us. The temperature inside was always super comfortable; we didn't even need to turn on the AC that was provided. And a massive plus: the hot water and electricity worked continuously without a single issue! The Wi-Fi was flawless, which meant I could peacefully get some work done on my laptop.

I have zero complaints! On short, everything that was promised was delivered, and it was quite literally a perfect stay. This is an excellent location for me and my daughter, and I highly recommend it to any family or traveler. We will gladly be booking this exact spot every single time we come to Durban!

What a lovely and beautiful place and the best view ever all the effort they put in to make your stay memorable a big thank you to the host for a pleasant stay and snacks when we arrived we will be back next year that is our home away from home in the future

The security was rude i wasnt treated with respect as a client. He spoke to me as i was something and not a lady/person that was suppose to be treated with respect whilst i payed for the accommodation

The host made us feel at home 10/10, The property is amazing, loved everything, they have the best cuddling couch in my books and a shower with amazing water pressure felt like a massage 😃.

Check-in was a bit late but I still enjoyed my stay.

Location, beautiful view of the canal with its fishes and ducks with their ducklings, ocean and ships coming into the harbour and leaving again.

Everything. The apartment is beautiful and has everything. It's very cosy and comfy. The view of the harbor entrance and sea view is magnificent. The owner kept in touch and checking up if everything is OK. Check in process is easy and security at this building is very good. It's very safe and very clean and neat. Loved my stay and will definitely be back.
