We reported a leaking toilet nobody came to fix it. The balcony was dirty from pigeon poop and the domestic didn’t clean.

The property is conveniently located and close to the beachfront and nearby attractions. The unit was clean, and the check-in process was smooth. Overall, it provided a comfortable stay for the duration of our visit.

The unit requires some maintenance. The cupboard had a noticeable damp smell, the space felt too small for two beds, and the fridge appears to be old and in need of replacement. The shower in the main bedroom did not have a door, resulting in water splashing all over the bathroom floor. While the stay was acceptable, the unit would benefit from some upgrades and general maintenance.

The fact the I had to phone the owner on the day of the booking just to find out it is cancelled. It was the weekend of comrades, all other accommodation were fully book. Not happy and dont think this property should be on bookings.com

Wifi did not work. Contacted hosts 1 ste evening and he never got back to us during our 4 day stay. A lot of maintenance that needs to be done

poor maintenance. Fridge didnt work. No wifi, no water (and when they resolved the water, there was no hot water). broken shower door, broken cabinet doors. Booked a king size bed but there was only a double bed. apartment is for 4 people but there were only 3 plates. some plug points don't work. No thought or maintenance on the premises. Extremely expensive for what you get.

Sitcoms were not working. Reported to person in charge. He didn’t acknowledge the text nor send a movable aircon on a 37 deg day. The fridge was also not working.

Sis Doris was very friendly and she kept the place very neat.

The reception is not welcoming and there is no waiting area. Our fridge was not working and the outside of the building needs painting

The host was quick at answering questions and concerns. They assisted with smooth check-in. There were 3 ladies that came to clean they were quick- but too many for such a small property and they didn't dry the dishes- not a good thing. Most people were friendly and its a walk away from UShaka marine world.

The reception area was cold. Nowhere to sit and security finally giving us attention in-between, what, he was doing. There were cockroach's so you must keep the lights on, for your own peace of mind. Booking.com has debited R100- for interest without any communication- 2 days after we paid. I emailed on Sunday and have still not received any feedback. The ceiling in the main room was dirty and the headboard was falling over cause its unhinged. The place is close to the beach and Ushake, but there is nothing else to do- you must go there prepared to Uber to get to the closest shops and anybither entertainment.

Cockroaches everywhere in the apartment. Smoking smell in the room where my kids was supposed to sleep, I ended up taking out the beds to the sitting room on both days.

Beautiful property with everything a guest would need for a self catering stay

Had a few encounters with cockroaches and my kids hates those. My wife got bitten by some bug during the night and she’s still nursing the bite

The only issue is that there is no access to a plug point in the bedroom as it's covered by the headboard.

My stay truly felt like a home away from home — warm, comfortable, spotless, and safe. One of the highlights was our peaceful walk from uShaka Marine along the beach to our apartment

One or two cockroaches. We ended up buying doom. They came out to play especially at night. The host explained though that they recently fumigated the apartment but it was nothing we couldn’t handle.

We liked the location, nice and central and very convenient. Liked the cleaning facility . The apartment was very nice and spacious.

Upon arrival at our apartment, we were greeted with cockroaches... which was very disappointing, our fridge was not working leaving us with rotten / off meat the next. I was very disappointed in that. The apartment was nice and clean otherwise.

The host was kind, gave fast responses via both phone calls and texts. I liked that there was daily housekeeping as well.

The gym and pool area is only available to residents of the apartment and we were looking forward to working out and swimming.

Honestly nothing, the cleaners were amazing, and the security is great and friendly, very helpful. You get your money’s worth, we were on a girls trip but this place was so safe even the security on the street,

Le buffet du petit-déjeuner est le même tous les matins. Pas de dentifrice ni brosses a dents dans les salles de bain. Le service de chambre n'a pas une heure fixe pour nettoyer... c'est à tout moment Lenteur dans l'attribution des chambres a notre arrivée

The location is beautiful the house is neat n smells nice

The bathrooms need a deep clean. The shower door needs to be fixed. There were only 3 towels for 4 ppl. The sliding doors don't work properly rusty, n the wind comes in n blows the curtains. The rubbers are all off, not sealed properly.

The keys were collected before checked out😢😢 so at the gate, we had no gate remote. Security had to assist us.

Cockroaches..they need to fumigate and get rid of them. The fridge was not working. I couldn’t cook for my child because we couldn’t stock up on supplies with a fridge that is not working

The host and security at reception were very helpful because we arrived b4,check in time they kept our lagage for us until check in time.as a family we happy and we will definitely book with you again

The place was beautiful, very stylish and super clean....comfortable beds.

I didn't like the checking in process. At some point I thought I have been scammed, because the host kept on telling me that he has sent me a Whatsapp and SMS for the keys and that was not true. I had to beg him to give me the details over the phone and the whole process ended up taking about 20 to 30 minutes.

The location is perfect. Not busy. The view from the balcony is beautiful. We were in Durban for the Nedbank final and we had our bags with us because we used an Uber from the Airport. The housekeeping lady was friendly and we could leave our bags behind as check-in was only at 14:00 and she was still busy cleaning. The apartment is clean, perfect holiday spot. My whole family love it.

We loved everything. Perhaps have a dining table with chairs by the patio. Alternatively, the ones by the kitchen can be used.

The room had no electricity , after reporting they took their own time to allocate me a to new apartment. I had to keep on following up and on their side not even apologies only excuses 😤

I enjoyed the breathtaking views; host is very helpful and responds timeously and easy access to get to the beach.

The property requires some serious revamp; skirting is falling off and the place is infested with cockroaches. There's a dingy smell in the unit, couches and pillows. Some facilities are malfunctioning i.e. kitchen and guest bedroom windows not opening, blinds not opening in guest bedroom and the main bedroom TV not working. Clearly no inspection was done prior to us moving in. The place has great potential it's just these few items that require attention before is deteriorates altogether.

We booked the apartment as i live away from durban. Upon booking i advised that i was going to be having guests over for dinner where snack boards, main meal and cake as dessert was made. The booking advisor suggested and he told us that visitors may park outside. Upon arrival off the visitors an indian security guard without much experience or common sense came by to say we were not allowed any visitors. We had everything ready and prepared and even before we could have our meals the security was forcing us out. I had contacted the booking agent to advise, yes the 4 people that were booked were there and we had 6 extra visitors. However this was considered as a party. If you are looking at booking this apartment and are living out off durban, do not book as you are not allowed to have visitors more than 3. We had to pack up the food that was prepared and leave to another home in durban which was not pleasant as slot off effort was done on preparing the meals. Inconvenience at its best.
