Abelia Riad - 2025 Guest Choice Award

All the staff were so friendly and attentive. The riad was a peaceful haven from the hustle and bustle outside.

Not a lot of privacy on the ground floor and could be quite noisy at times, even in the night. Lovely sun terrace but no shade and no parasols, so sunbathing or relaxing up there almost impossible.

CAUCHEMAR SANITAIRE ET TENTATIVE DE DISSIMULATION – À FUIR ABSOLUMENT ! Séjour en famille en août dans la "Suite avec Terrasse". Cet établissement usurpe totalement son badge « Guest Choice Award ». Il loue sciemment des chambres massivement infestées par les punaises de lit depuis plus d’un an, comme le prouvent d'autres commentaires clients sur booking (Michal, Edinboro, Shilpi, Alexandre) qui ont subi exactement le même calvaire. Voici les faits incontestables et documentés : 1. INFESTATION MASSIVE : Le 8 août, nous découvrons des œufs, des déjections et des punaises de lit adultes vivantes incrustées dans le bois de la tête de lit. 2. MENSONGE ET FAUSSE DÉSINFECTION : Après deux déménagements pénibles avec trois jeunes enfants, la direction nous réintègre dans la suite en affirmant qu'un traitement a été fait. Mensonge prouvé par photos horodatées : le 11 août au soir, les punaises de lit vivantes grouillaient au même endroit. 3. PRÉJUDICE MÉDICAL GRAVE : Mon épouse est rentrée avec plus de 70 piqûres infectées, nécessitant une mise sous antibiotiques (Amoxicilline) et antihistaminiques par notre médecin traitant (certificat médical à l'appui). 4. PUBLICITÉ MENSONGÈRE : La suite annoncée pour 100m² en fait à peine la moitié. Le gérant nous à offert une Djelaba et des patisseries en dédommagement et a refusé de nous rembourser et Booking.com a osé proposer 10 % de dédommagement face à ce désastre. PROCÉDURES EN COURS : Un signalement officiel a été déposé auprès de la DGCCRF / SignalConso en France à l'encontre de Booking.com, et une plainte administrative a été officiellement transmise à la Délégation Régionale du Tourisme au Maroc pour demander un contrôle d'hygiène urgent et la suspension de la licence touristique de ce Riad. Ne prenez aucun risque pour votre santé et celle de vos enfants : fuyez cet endroit.

Tudo, o staff foi incansável, viajamos com dois filhos de 4 e 6 anos e eles foram incansáveis com eles. O pequeno almoço era maravilhoso.

The customer service was outstanding . Abdo, Hanan, and Adnan in particular were exceptional. They went above and beyond, always offering full support and making sure everything was taken care of. Truly grateful for their help

Everyone is very nice, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast is very good. We really enjoyed the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hospitality has been wonderful, and the staff have made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. Overall, we had a lovely experience and would happily recommend this place to others.

Entire staff members were very friendly and helpful especially Adnan and Abdul, did not get the names of the housekeeping ladies and kitchen staff but they were quite nice, cleanliness was top notch and the food was really good.

Le cadre intérieur du ryad est très joli avec sa piscine intérieure. La chambre était bien aménagée avec climatisation. Le toit terrasse était agréable avec les oiseaux qui circulaient et de la végétation. Un petit déjeuner copieux et le personnel gentil et de bons conseils.

L'arrivée dans la médina est un peu déroutant surtout pour parvenir au ryad . ('Atmosphère à l'extérieur du ryad est très animée.

El personal és molt amable i atent a les necessitats dels clients i el menjar és espectacularment bo. La cuinera, sempre atenta i servil, fa una delícia de menjar casolà. La piscina, tot i les petites dimensions, et salva de la calor intensa quan tornes de passejar.

La habitació que ens va tocar no estava prou neta, els mobles plens de pols i amb olor a humitat/tancat.

Das war unser erster Trip nach Marokko -wir kamen nachts an und es war alles top organisiert.wir wurden mit unseren zwei Kleinkindern unkompliziert und freundlich vom Airport zum Riad mitten in der Nacht gebracht. Der Empfang war herzlich, das Frühstück wahnsinnig gut und die Unterkunft im schnellebigen Marrakesch eine richtige Ruheoase. Wir waren auf der dachterrasse - das war traumhaft. Vollste Empfehlung

Excellent séjour dans ce riad, le personnel d'accueil et les dames de chambres sont adorables et au petit soin. Petit déjeuner frais, copieux et fait maison ! Logement propre, piscine commune et lieux extrêmement calme, dans un quartier typique de Marrakech. Possibilité de manger sur place en réservant. Je recommande !

Un personnel tellement bienveillant, une cuisine de famille. Tout y était pour se sentir bien. L'entretien du riad est parfait et son emplacement au top. Un endroit authentique pour s'immerger dans la culture Marocaine.

The staff was friendly and understanding.

Its hard to get dropped off at the door of the hotel due to the narrow roads. However its a safe location so when you are dropped off nearby its about a 3-5 min walk.

El trato recibido fue lo mejor. Nos recibieron con un té. Que nos tomamos antes de salir, ya que llegamos temprano y las habitaciones no estaban listas. Aún así nos recibieron increíblemente. Siempre atentos a todo lo que necesitábamos. Un encanto.

Lo único que no me gustó fue la salida del hotel. Saliendo de la puerta a la izquierda hay un terreno donde hay muchísima basura y colchones donde duerme gente sin hogar. Me dio un poco de mala impresión. Pero no es de ellos es de fuera. Una vez dentro te sientes perfecto.

Los dos recepcionistas que nos atendieron muy amables y atentos, cubriendo todas nuestras necesidades y la señora de la limpieza tuvo el detalle de dejar el aire acondicionado al terminar para dejarnos la habitación con una buenisima temperatura cuando entramos, tambien hay mucha tranquilidad y silencio, que se agradece.

The staff was exceptional and hosbitality was great. The arabic vibes and interior design of the riad are unique and wonderful. The cleanliness of the room and toilet were amazing.

The area around the riad is not the best, but it's inside the medina and relatively closer than other areas. I also didn't find Bidet hose which is needed for muslim visitors.

This riad is very beautiful, it is a quiet sanctuary in the medina. The tiling, furniture and decor feel authentic and are very nice. The riad is clean and the service is exceptional. The breakfast is also delicious. We had a private terrace with our room which was another bonus. The location was nice, only a 20 min walk to Jemaa el-Fnaa. Would totally stay here again.

Das Haus ist besonders hellhörig und scheinbar bei Gruppen beliebt.

Wir hatten das Appartement angrenzend zu Dachterasse und hatten somit unsere fast eigene Terasde oben. Die Begrüßung und der Empfang war sehr herzlich und die Ausstattung war super.

Un’oasi di pace nel mezzo della Medina. Staff molto gentile, discreto (punto favorevolissimo!) Riad pulito, accogliente con colazione buonissima e terrazzo perfetto per rinfrescarsi la sera. Ottima posizione sia per raggiungere la piazza centrale a 20 min a piedi e a 3 min da una porta perfetta per punto di ritrovo per le escursioni fuori porta e per prendere i taxi. Consigliatissimo

Si potrebbe migliorare la doccia.

Il Riad è una piccola isola felice all' interno della Medina. Posizione ottima per girare a piedi Marrakech e come punto di incontro per eventuali escursioni. Il personale del Riad è top. Gentilissimi e super disponibile Consiglio vivamente la struttura

Das Personal ist unfassbar nett und zuvorkommend ! Egal, welche Wünsche man hat, sie versuchen alle zu erfüllen. Das Essen war prima.

Leider hatten wir das Zimmer ganz oben auf dem Dach, welches sich bei 39 Grad sehr aufheizt. Somit hatte die Klimaanlage am Anreisetag ewig gebraucht, bis das Zimmer mal Normaltemperatur hatte. Leider war das Riad ausgebucht, sonst hätten wir ein anderes Zimmer erhalten.

Öncelikle araçla geliyorsanız arabayla girmeniz mümkün değil, Arabayı otelin 10dk uzağındaki bir otoparka parkettik.Valizlerle çok dar ve kalabalık sokaklardan yürüyerek otele zor geldik.Otelin kapısından girince asıl şoku orda yaşadık.Aşırı basık ve havasız alt kattaki odalar kabirden farksız,alerjik astımı olanlar için çok zor .Nem ve rutubet kokusundan çok çok fazla rahatsız olduk.Havuzun etrafında sinekler vardı. Odalarda nefes almakta zorlandığımız için terasta vakit geçirdik ama oralarda hep tozluydu. Kesinlikle bu paraya değecek bir otel değil. Saat 7 gibi otele giriş yaptık.Ertesi gün erken çıkacağımız için kahvaltıyı erken talep ettik. 16:00dan önce haber vermediğimiz için kabul etmediler.Diğer Riadlarda bu konuda çok hoş yaklaşıldığını duyduk,paket yapıp veren Riadlar bile var erken çıkış yapan müşteriler için,gidin başka yerde kalın paranıza yazık

A limpeza, os funcionários.

A localização fica um pouco mais afastada do centro da praça principal. Mas faz-se muito bem a pé. Ruído ao início da manhã devido ao pequeno-almoço.

Frühstück und WLAN waren gut.

Leider gibt es keinen Wäscheservice, wie bei booking.com angegeben. Für Backpacker, die bei einer Buchung auf so etwas achten ist das etwas ärgerlich. An sich ein schönes Riad, aber mit einigen Macken. Die Matratze war sehr weich und durchgelegen, die Gardinen kaputt, von den Teppichen ging ein unangenehmer Geruch aus. Auf der Terrasse roch es auch sehr unangenehm, so als würden Katzen dort regelmäßig ihr Geschäft verrichten. Direkt nebenan gab es eine Baustelle, die den ganzen Tag hämmerte, sodass die erwartete Ruhe eines Riads leider nicht gegeben war. Eine Info darüber wäre fair gewesen, dann hätte man umbuchen können. Da der Lärm direkt hinter unserer Zimmerwand stattfand, fragten wir, ob ein Wechsel in eines der gegenüber liegenden Zimmer möglich wäre. Das war nicht möglich. Und auch sonst gab es kein Entgegenkommen. Über die Lage sollte man wissen, dass man ca 15 Minuten laufen muss bis man Essensmöglichkeiten findet, allgemein eher weit weg von der Medina. Nach mehreren Unterkünften in Marokko, war das leider die schlechteste. Kein gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis, sehr schade.

it’s a cute riad, with a cute rooms. the location is not so difficult to find, and the staffs are great, but i think it’s little bit understaffed. There was only 1 poor guy to do everything. but he really try his best, but i can understand that is a little bit overwhelming to him :(

Las camas eran muy cómodas pero cogimos la cama del sofá no era cómoda. Hay que callejear para poder llegar a la plaza.

położenie nie jest najgorsze, blisko od głównego wejścia i blisko do ‚centrum’. Dobre śniadania i fajny taras na dachu z miejscami do siedzenia. W pokoju słychać hałasy przez jego budowę (okna na dziedziniec) ale rezerwując taki rodzaj noclegu trzeba być tego świadomym:). Obsługa bardzo pomocna i zawsze obecna na miejscu.

Unser Zimmer roch modrig, von der Decke bröselte zudem Putz. Es muss wohl zuvor einen Wasserschaden gegeben haben. Das Bett war mäßig bequem. Zudem liegt direkt neben der Unerkukft eine Moschee, die entsprechend um 05:00 Uhr morgens mit Rufen zum Gebet weckt. Die Lage ist zudem in einem der ärmlicheren Virtel, sehr unangenehm zum Teil. Die Unterkunft ist zudem nicht mit dem Auto erreichbar.

Traditional Riad, although this property was in the East of the city off the tourist route it was a nice place to unwind after a day walking aroung. Traditional decor and layout added to the experience.

The Riad is close to the centre of Marrakesh. It is based in the old part of time called Medina.

Amabilidad y atención por parte del staff.

First of all, I wanna mention the reception guys: Mohammed and Abdul, they were great, extremely friendly and ready to help you, I think they are a big plus at this property.

We had a room with private terrace, but at night it was pretty noisy. The breakfast was tasty, but very simple, just an omelette, some fruits and pancakes. They also served us tea and fresh orange juice. Our room was clean for standards in Morocco but it could be cleaner. Overall, it was a decent stay, we wanted to experience a traditional Moroccan home, but the location was a big minus. It's in the middle of chaos, hard to find it on the GPS, we had to ask locals. The riad is 30-35 minutes by walk from the city centre, but unfortunately it's located in a very busy, local area, with all kind of local shops, but not necessarily a touristy area.

It is beautiful! The staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and the peace and quiet was wonderful.

The little lanes and maze of ‘streets’ in poor shape was a shock. However we quickly got used to them and it didn’t hinder our enjoyment at all.

Tagterrassen. De kunne arrangere transport til lufthavnen og vi blev fulgt hen til taxaen, da biler ikke kan køre helt hen til hotellet. Ligger i ret kort afstand til lufthavnen.

Meget lille 3 mands værelse, hvor der ret lydt. Vores værelse lå i stueetagen og vi kunne høre tydelig snak samt når hoveddøren til hotellet blev åbnet/ lukket. Vi kunne tydeligt høre, når andre gæster kom hjem, tjekkede ud eller ind samt personalet.. vi kunne dårligt være på værelset 3 personer med 3 kufferter og tasker, men måske er det helt anderledes på andre værelser, hvis man kun rejser to sammen. Vi ville gerne have spist frokost, men det udbyder de ikke normalt. Vi fik at vide, vi skulle bestille det samme alle 3, hvilket var fint med os. Det viste sig så, at vi ikke kunne få lov til at bestille 3 “hovedretter” af det samme, men vi skulle bestille 3 menuer a 5-6 retter pr person, hvilket vi synes var alt for meget mad og alt for dyrt ift at få lidt frokost, inden vi skulle ud og spise på restaurant senere.

The riad was beautiful, big and nicely decorated with art. The location was great, close to everything and in a nice quiet alley. The breakfast was good, would have been better if they had a savoury option, rather than fully sweet breakfast.

When I needed assistance I could rarely find anyone at reception. Had to look around the riad to find any staff on multiple occasions. They could have put a bell on reception to get their attention when needed. Breakfast was a bit slow to serve and some people had theirs before us, although we were waiting for longer. On the morning before I had to leave there was no hot water in the shower which was frustrating...it took few hours for technician to come and fix the problem.

Nuestra experiencia en este Riad fue catastrófica. No entiendo como puede tener valoraciones tan positivas, por cuanto que al margen de lo que nos sucedió a nosotros, el Riad es bastante decadente y la zona concreta de la Medina en la que se asienta es mala, tirando a malísima, aunque es verdad que en poco tiempo andando llegas a una zona más comercial. He de decir que nuestra experiencia personal fue horrible. El primer día de llegar, con tres niños de 11,14 y 16 años, cayó una tormenta y cuando volvimos al Riad después de dar una vuelta por el centro, agotados, a las 11 de la noche, después de un largo día de viaje, nos encontramos nuestra habitación inundada y con las maletas empapadas. Empaquetamos todo a toda prisa y al salir de la habitación, nos dice el encargado, que era muy majo y servicial, pero que dependía del propietario con el que hablaba por teléfono, el cual ni apareció, que no tenía más habitaciones, salvo otra igualmente inundada. No nos daban ninguna solución, ni siquiera ayudarnos a encontrar otro sitio donde dormir. Si no es porque encontré otra opción a través de Booking (RIAD GALLERY49.UNA MARAVILLA) , lo cual me costó, porque las recepciones de los Riads estaban cerradas a esas horas y no había muchas plazas por Marrakech, nos hubiéramos quedado en la calle, con tres niños. Gracias a que la encargada del otro Riad nos quiso esperar. Se portó de maravilla. Pero fue un momento bastante angustioso. Mi marido amenazó con llamar a la policía y gracias a eso el propietario (por teléfono), consintió en devolvernos el dinero, porque al principio no quería. Desde mi experiencia, creo que BOOKING debería descatalogar este Riad, porque su trato fue impresentable en una situación muy delicada. Nosotros, por nuestra parte ya hemos mandado reclamación formal con videos incluidos. Por otro lado, y aunque no nos hubiera pasado nada, este Riad es bastante decadente, con unas vistas horribles, y asentado en un lugar nada bonito.

Le Riad correspond exactement à la description; au cœur de l’ancien Marrakech, une superbe expérience culturelle! Notre chambre était nettoyé chaque jour, Petit déjeuner au top et copieux. Et surtout, le personnel était vraiment au petit soin, très arrangeant, très à l’écoute. Merci à toute l’équipe ! Nous recommandons vivement cet établissement

El Riad es bonito, como un oasis de tranquilidad en un barrio muy concurrido. El personal era encantador y las cenas buenas y contundentes, a un precio muy económico.

Aamiaisen laatu vaihteli. Joinain päivinä se oli selkeästi parempi. Aamiaisella ei tarjoiltu lainkaan vettä, mikä oli outoa. Sijainti oli huono. Kävelymatka ostoksille ja ravintoloihin oli pitkä. Saapuessa Riad oli myös vaikea löytää. Olimme varanneet normaalia kalliimman huoneen, sviitin. Huoneemme oli kuitenkin todella pieni, eikä vastannut lainkaan esitettyjä kuvia.

La struttura è accogliente e pulita. L'host è gentile e disponibile. Colazione buona ma non particolarmente variegata.

La zona in cui si trova la struttura è particolarmente trasandata e ricca di edifici demoliti.
