Reviewed Aug 24, 2026The facilities in the cottage were great, clean and well appointed. The location makes it easy to go to York, Leeds and Harrogate and the entry to the dales is just up the Ripley road. There are pubs and restaurants in walking distance giving plenty of choice. There is the Wednesday market in the town square which brings in local producers, makes it interesting to see what is on offer
We found it hard to find any negatives on the cottage, the host will help with local information if required.

Reviewed Dec 28, 2024Lovely cottage , en-suite bedrooms Really comfortable beds. Everything you need for a few days stay is in this property
Exiting the property is a bit tricky both in the car and by foot as you are straight on to a roundabout on a main road
