The host provides tea, coffee, the most scrumptious biscuits (I ate every one), also cooking oil and vinegar, salt and pepper and even chocolates at the bedside. This must be the most comfortable bed I have ever stayed in away from home. The host was so friendly and kind when I stupidly lost the keys and needed her assistance rather urgently. She found them and was ready and waiting when I returned after a busy day. I would definitely book this anytime I go to Port Elizabeth again.

The kitchen is really well provided and even has really handy touches of herbs, spices, oil, vinegar etc which is great when you are travelling and self catering. Lovely little flapjacks too to welcome you. Very warm welcome from the host and lots of recommendations for local eateries. The area felt very safe and plenty of shops/cafes/restaurants in easy walking distance. Lovely to have nets around the bed - although it wasn’t a problem when we were there, it was nice to feel well protected against any little biting things that may be about.

Reviewed Sep 14, 2025My partner and I really loved the space. It was extremely clean, quiet and the lady who came to give us the key was really kind. It was a bit chilly but they also had a gas heater which was amazing. I can't find faults at all. I wish we had stayed longer.

Reviewed Dec 18, 2024Well located near to excellent restaurants, and large supermarkets only minutes away. KFC and BK down the road if necessary......Quiet and with secure on site parking. Excellent WiFi, books to read, Netflix and great shower. Comfortable , large bed with quality linen and great lighting. Washing machine a lovely bonus, thank you. Beaches about a six minute drive. The owner Laura and her daughter Megan welcomed us warmly and nothing was too much trouble. Our four night stay was cosy, peaceful and most enjoyable.
