I’ve stayed at this property before and it was clean then, so this isn’t a one-off complaint about the property itself. This time, the grout in the shower was visibly grimy along the tile joints, clearly not deep-cleaned before check-in. Room was otherwise fine. Flagging this for management as it points to inconsistent cleaning standards between stays, worth tightening up quality checks between guests.

Reviewed Jul 16, 2026It's a perfect little bachelor pad with a touch of luxury. Exceptional quality of furniture and linen. Huge tv. A lovely shower that's comfortable for two people. Delicious variety of coffees. Located on the top floor.. the view!- at night it's impeccable 👌 😌 It was comfort, peace and beauty combined. I'll definitely make use of it again for a quiet hide away spot in the future.

Reviewed May 8, 2026It is a beautiful spacious apartment that is right next to Menlyn Maine and the Sunbet arena. A lovely large bed and has a wonderful view from the 14th floor.
Most of the cutlery was missing (which must have been sadly taken). No milk for the tea and coffee and no bottled water.

Wi-Fi password on key was incorrect. We could not park in designated parking as the parking roof was too low so our vehicle could not get to the parking. Aircon was noisy in the apartment.

The let down is the staff around the building, as they were bit rude and not so helpful so it takes a while to figure things out. Within the room, a few things like the carpet were noticeably out of place. But carpet needs professional cleaning to keep its quality or might be time to change it. Overall, attention to detail by the host and staff can be a game changer towards a better experience

The fact that I got lost looking for my parking space.. When I finally located it there was a car parked , fortunately the owner removed it within few minutes. The numbering is confusing..

Reviewed Jan 7, 20262nd time booking at Mainly Maine trilogy & this time for my Daughter's who were attending an event at Sunbet Arena which is a walking distance from the apartment & close to the shops. No need to Uber around if you not driving. Efficient communication from the host & the reception & security guy were very helpful. My girls can't stop raving about it so I highly recommend it. Oh! How fair is that check-out time. Girls managed to get up & prepare, quick went out breakfast, then came back to fetch the bags🙏

Reviewed Dec 1, 2025These are the things I liked: Proximity to the MM shopping mall, the food at KOI restaurant and E&L London was AMAZING! There is good security in the area. You can take an evening walk with no hustle.
The reception team at the ground floor is unfriendly. They could improve their customer relations.

Bed sheet were not quite fitting which was not impressive for me, coffee was not refilled on daily basis and the shower was not properly draining which made showering very uncomfortable.

Reviewed Jun 30, 2025Location is good. Close to a lot of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The room is spacious and clean. The view from the restaurant was beautiful.
The breakfast at the restaurant on site was not quite up to the standard expected - asked for soft, runny eggs and the eggs was really overdone. The muffins used for my meal was really stale. It was a bit difficult arriving at night to find our way to the entrance of the building. Suggest clear instructions, other than just a pindrop. The pindrop gets you to the general area, but at night you need more detail, especially if you do not know the area.

Reviewed May 26, 2025The location was good, staff were pleasant, room was nice and clean with lots of cupboard space. There were decent facilities for cooking, fridge, kettle, etc. Bed was large but the pillows were bloody uncomfortable.
We did not have hot water. Our shower was lukewarm. We could not connect to the wifi and were only sent the wifi password at 00:15 for our one night stay...

Reviewed Mar 24, 2025Very nice and stylish apartment in a great location, clean with 2 exceptions. Great facilities at the hotel, including a pool and a bar:restaurant on the 16th floor. Easy access to Sunbet arena and lots of restaurants.
Awkward communication, until I phoned the hotel and was informed that this was a privately owned unit and that the person I had been talking to via the booking.com app was probably the owner herself. We had paid extra for early check-in/late check-out, but the owner forgot to inform the reception and on the day of departure the card that one needs for all doors and the lift was deactivated at 10:30. Since we left a bit later, the lift wouldn’t work and we had to carry our luggage 14 flights of stairs down to the reception. On complaining to the owner she reimbursed the 100 Rand I had paid for late check-out, but more careful and upfront communication and explanation would have gone a long way in avoiding misunderstandings and delays.
