May's house (Nhà của Mây)

Mình không thấy thoải mái lắm, cảm giác như đi ở nhờ nhà bạn hơn là một nơi mình trả tiền để có chỗ nghỉ riêng. Home k tự check in được, mình đến nơi thì gọi chủ nhà, mình đứng đợi khoảng 15 phút, chủ nhà k ra mở cửa ngay, mình nghe thấy tiếng nhạc và rửa bát trong phòng khách, cảm giác chủ nhà đủng đỉnh, rửa bát xong mới đi ra mở cửa cho mình. Nên là ngay tại khúc này đã thấy k được chào đón lắm. Các mục khác thì đủ dùng, đây là căn nhà biệt thự cũ được xây thô, chưa trát tường cho mịn, nên chủ nhà có sơn trực tiếp lên gạch và trang trí lại, phòng tắm cũng có bồn rửa mặt và vòi sen cơ bản, k có vách ngăn, sàn xi măng. Giường là pallet gỗ ghép lại, đệm là loại 3 miếng ghép lại để lúc gấp gọn thì gấp 3 được, xui là ngay phần lưng nằm trúng cái rãnh gấp của đệm nên hơi lún, k thoải mái lắm. Chăn là loại rẻ, giống thời sinh viên mình từng mua, cũng hơi nóng. Cái chăn dự phòng có mùi hôi, chắc ít giặt. Tóm lại là mức giá mình trả gần 400k, cũng k quá cao, nhưng mình từng book chỗ khác của khách sạn thông thường, cùng tầm giá và hên hơn nên đã trúng phòng khác tốt hơn, chăn gối đệm phòng tắm chuẩn khách sạn. Chung quy là mình cũng chỉ đặt lưng 1 đêm cho xong, chứ k có cảm giác cozy dễ thương gì như các comment khác nói.

I was staying at May’s house for the whole month, and it was one of the best experiences! May is very helpful and her kids are simply adorable! Staying with them felt like I kinda belonged to their amazing family 💖 The room is spacious and clean, the soundproofing is really really good which was important for me. Each room has a balcony which is amazing for morning coffee. And I really liked the location — it was very authentic ✨ If I could rate the experience even higher, I would have.

perfect stay! I booked for 3 days, and I’ve been extending for another 3 days. The rooms are very nice, clean, and comfortable. May is a great host. She helps me to make my hanoi itinerary , takes care of all the guests, cooks delicious Vietnamese food for the guests, and is always kind and helpful. And location-wise, May’s house is very safe and quiet, and you can easily find food shopping areas; it’s 3 to 4 minutes away. I must say that if you’re looking to stay in Hanoi, May’s house is like your home.

My boyfriend and I initially booked 1 week and we've been extending for almost 2 months now! Rooms are very wide with tall ceilings, very clean, and beautiful. May is an absolutely wonderful host. She takes care of all the details; sometimes she cooks delicious vietnamese food for the guests, and she is always extremely kind and helpful. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet, but also close to busier areas with restaurants and shops. Also, I work from home and wifi is very very good. Honestly, it couldn't be any better!!

The location was quite close to where I was visiting for business. The host May is very friendly and helpful. I even had some good conversations with her. Everything is flexible and she really cares about the guests.

The rooms had some small issues, like doors that were stuck, paint that rubbed off the walls, etc. I expect these are only because the place is new, and will be resolved over time.

The kindness and friendship of the house keeper impressed me a lot. Additionally, she served us as her friends. We had a chit chat and dinner in free time as well. The warmly environment makes me feel comfortable like my home.

The check-in experience was very good. The landlord is very friendly. There is a market frequented by local residents nearby. It is very convenient to buy things and taste delicious food.

This is the first time I rented a homestay for my business trip instead of a hotel. I had a great experience there. The price there is very reasonable, the place is very clean, artistically decorated, they provide full amenities for guests. That place is not only a lovely homestay, but it also makes me feel comfortable like family because of the way they treat guests.It's worth experiencing
