Reviewed Sep 9, 2026Fab flat. Attractively decorated and everything provided to ensure a comfortable stay. Loved the great rainshower and comfortable bed. Having a parking space just by the entrance was a bonus too. It's obvious that a lot of thought and care has gone into setting this place up!
NOT a dislike, but it's important to note that if you're not used to Wellington hill roads you need drive carefully up the road as really one way with cars parked on both sides.

Leaving as it was a quick trip, next time would love to stay longer.

Reviewed Jul 10, 2025Location was excellent very close for what I wanted to achieve on my trip the accommodation was superb everything was waiting for me they went the extra mile and providing little things would highly recommend to outside travelers I was blessed because I spent over 26 years in the surrounding area so wasn't a mystery to me
My only concern was the TV channels yes had Netflix and YouTube Google TV doesn't provide channels one two and three and that was the only thing

Also shower head not suitable for people who don't want their hair wet while showering. A directional shower rose would solve that problem.

There were some nice touches with regard to the decor, along with having breakfast cereal and sweets available for us to enjoy. The bed was super comfy and pillows were of a good quality. I made good use of the desk in the bedroom to make a craft item. Easy to follow instructions, good wifi connection. Lovely quiet street and a short drive to Porirua CBD.
Can't think of anything, even hubby couldn't think of anything 😊

The property is advertised as 'private'. The hosts who live above were considerate in this regard, however the stairwell between the unit and the main house is open. A door at the bottom of the stairs would add privacy for both quests and owners and add to the quietness. This could be achieved by installation of a bifold door on the landing at the bottom of the stairs.

The property is a little out of the way, the streets are very winding and the kitchen only has one relatively small saucepan and a frying pan.
