Beautiful cottage in a great location. Ingrid was very helpful.

Would have liked a slightly bigger table for eating from on the deck.

Rustic accommodation inside an estate. Safe and tranquil. Abundant wildlife and beautiful bird song. Spotless apartment. A lovely stay.

One of the doors leading to the main house didn’t have blinds which made it feel that it wasn’t private.

Wonderful experience in a wildlife security estate with pristine natural surroundings and beautiful rolling hills of African savannah. Safe walking trails from short walks to long ones, safe parking, everything secure. Lots of space. The unit is very well equipped, very clean and cosy. Very welcoming host. Highly recommended!

Location was very peaceful, but might be a little out of the way for some travellers.

Perhaps have some small long life milk to go with coffee / tea provided.

Ingrid was amazing- she went over and above to make us comfortable. The area is stunning and surrounded by wildlife.

The atmosphere and the location was amazing ..if u want a secluded place to relax and unwind then this is for u...we saw the giraffe,warthog and impalas roaming around the estate,there are also hiking trails avaliable to walk and refresh...and the host was amazing too..Ingrid ur the best.😍..she gave us board games to play and bond..what a lovely stay we had...we will be coming back again 😀 ❤️

Spent three nights , the host is very friendly and very quick to respond whenever you need help with anything. The location is top notch , overall the experience was amazing 🤩

The cottage was perfect, located within a secure estate where wildlife like zebras and giraffes roam freely, the scenery was 5-star. There is nothing as tranquil as having your morning coffee while watching wildlife pass by and listening to birds singing beautiful melodies Our hostess, Ingrid, was amazing and incredibly friendly, we truly enjoyed our warm conversations with her. She is a natural gem. We also made a wonderful new friend in Bentley! We left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to return. ​We highly recommend this cottage for anyone seeking a unique and memorable getaway.

Our stay at Jade Mountain’s Cottage was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at ease—thanks to the gated property and 24/7 security, we could truly relax and enjoy our time. Nature lovers like us were thrilled to spot wildlife nearby, as the cottage is perfectly located close to local safaris. Ingrid, our host, is an absolute gem. She warmly welcomed us, gave us a thoughtful tour of the house, and made sure we felt right at home. The cottage itself is beautifully cozy, spotless, and thoughtfully furnished, with facilities that even allowed us to do some light cooking. What made our stay extra special was the personal touch Ingrid added for our honeymoon—she had decorated the space to surprise us, making our celebration truly unforgettable. We are deeply grateful for Ingrid’s kindness and attention to detail. Her warmth and dedication went above and beyond, making our stay at Jade Mountain’s Cottage an experience we will always treasure.

Mycket fin natur. Omgivningen och de öppna afrikanska bushen så nära. Men ändå ordning i närområdet. Kändes mycket tryggt.

Doppoolen kändes privat även om vi hade tillgång till den.

The veranda is fantastic, everything in the house works perfectly, and the photos are a very accurate reflection of reality. The host is wonderful—she is respectful of your privacy and quiet, yet incredibly kind and available whenever needed. She truly cares about making sure her guests enjoy their stay."

Die Wohnung war sehr gut und sehr gut ausgestattet, die Vermieterin hat sogar abends gekocht was wir wollten. Einfach perfekt und aussergewöhnlich. Danke und gerne wieder

De locatie, het uitzicht, het huisje. Alles was voor ons geweldig. Ondanks dat we wel wat regen hebben gehad konden we lekker buiten zitten en genieten van de diertjes die langs kwamen en de verschillende vogels die voorbij kwamen en nestelen in de bomen. Zo leuk!

The view , the room , kitchen , bed 🛏️ is so comfortable, neat and clean bathroom 🪥, balcony is amazing , the swimming pool was good 😊

They must try to put a TV

Super schöne Unterkunft in einem private Estate. Man kann spazieren gehen und trifft auf, Antilopen, Zebras, Giraffen...! Wirklich toll. Sehr freundliche Gastgeberin! Sehr großes Zimmer mit super Ausstattung! Auch nicht weit zur panaroma route, sodass man dort alle stops an einem Tag schafft ☺️

I loved the peace and quiet in the tranquil environment. I felt so relaxed. The cottage was neat and clean and had everything you may need in the kitchenette. The fridge was also big enough to keep our food as we were traveling between destinations. Ingrid is just a star host. She thinks of everything and make sure you are comfortable and taken care of. I'll definitely visit Jade's cottage again. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and the beautiful view from the pool, as well as the picnic spot. We left relaxed and with good memories.

The self catering cottage was in a delightful and secure estate. The bonus was the wildlife around the cottage. We had giraffe grazing on the trees next to the deck. Very special. The owner is also an exception cook and we were lucky enough to have a meal cooked by her. Ingrid usually cooks on a Saturday, but made a special effort to prepare a meal for us on a Monday night, the day we arrived.

Lovely location

The location was great. The ability to see animals from the room was lovely.

Ingrid was always ready and on call, friendly and very accommodating. The cottage is located in a very safe neighborhood and it’s really great value for money.

We enjoyed the view of the estate..and loved the fact that we saw wild animals.

The cottage is quite nice, lots of restaurants and amenities in the town. It was also nice to see some wild animals roaming around.

Curtains were lace only. Would be nice to have another curtain layer for an extra feel of privacy.

This property is the perfect place for a get away. The location is beautiful and very safe and the host went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. Great value for money and would definitely recommend!

The ambiance and the quietness was out of this world, loved it!!

I honestly loved everything

Ingrid is a super host, you find "everything" in the cottage, she is always ready to assist if you need something. Stunning views just as you open your eyes in the morning you are greeted by nature and hills oohh my word that was the high note for us.

I think the bed needs upgrading.

The location was in a beautiful estate which made the entire stay worth it. Ingrid was a wonderful host and she made us the msot wonderful hot pot dinner. The preparation was top notch and the amount of effort that was put into all that Ingrid does is visible. Highly recommend!

The Host Ingrid and her husband where wonderful and very helpful, the room is very clean and had everything we need. the view was very amazing we could see animals while in our room. its a place to be if you want to relax and have a piece of mind

Jade cottage is situated in the Wild Fig Estate that provides lovely walks, birdwatching, and wild life experience.

Everthing was very good

This place is located in a serene, beautiful and fully fenced huge estate. Herbivore animals can easily be spotted around the houses. We were welcomed by Ingrid and Tertius with great hospitality (and two beagles).

Ingrid and her husband are such lovely hosts. Ingrid kept us informed of all activities in the White River area and her place is beautiful and quiet. I can recommend this place - the view from the stoep is divine! The running routes perfect!
