The food it's too expensive 😩

The location of the resort is in town near to a shopping mall and Nelspruit CBD but once your at the resort it feels excluded from everything, which makes the resort peaceful from all the surrounding noise. The rooms are spacious and clean, our family room accommodated our family very well. The restaurant is soo beautiful especially at night and one would want to sit there every minute of their stay and take lots of pictures....cold breakfast was very good, they were able to provide all kinds of fresh fruits.

Food needs lots of improvement especially dinner, there are things in the menu that the resort did not have in stock and the menu does not have food prices only wine price....I also didnt like the fact that the family room did not have a bath tub, it was challenging to shower a 4 year old in the shower. The resort has a lot of potential and I think in few years time it will be exceptional.

The base of the bed is old fashioned and the sofa is not comfortable

our room was comfortable, breakfast amazing and the staff incredible and hospitable. They truly went out of their way to please and accommodate us.

Beautiful scenery

The rooms need renovations, some floors are not tiled. No carpet near bed. Put extra blanket in the rooms, it’s winter

The peaple working there are amazing and They explain all that the place and the edventures u can do. They even have a WhatsApp number when u are in ur room and need anything u can WhatsApp him

The bath rooms where not that clean 😒 but everything else was a 10 out of 10

I liked the gym from outside the glasses, the conference rooms are also very beautiful from peeping through the windows. Toiletries and coffee station was great!!! Love the coffee ☕️ Breakfast was super great!!

No extra blankets No carpets in rooms or sitting room Sheets were abit stained but we made a plan Bathroom door could not close and we were travelling with kids so it was not ideal to shower with the door open. Restaurants men’s toilet smelled terribly bad according to my son and husband. Didn’t like that the gym was not operating on Sunday 🙃was really looking forward to it/ one of the reasons why I booked this resort.

The room was very clean, staff very helpful. Hot water for bathing.

Network was down during check-in, so requests that were made with the booking couldn’t be seen. The TV wasn’t working. Switched air con mode to heat but still cool air came out.

Wi-Fi not working, If you have to call the reception and restaurant you must use your own phone and airtime. Their standard family room must at least have a queen bed, their double beds were not comfortable, I woke up having a backache. Also in a family room, your kitchen accessories(Cups and glasses) should not be accessible for toddlers at least the kitchen table should be a higher height so that kids cannot mess and break everything on the table. Aircon not working and this was not good at all. Their room if i can rate cleanliness i’d say 4/10

Bungalow avec plein de poussière surtout sous le lit serviettes vielles et draps tachées de sang il a fallu appeler un agent pour qu'ils NS les changent et surtout pour avoir un taxi soit pour changer d'endroit ou aller visiter les prix étaient exorbitants et comme on était un couple il fallait multiplier par deux le tarif, et encore pleine de choses

TV's need upgrading - really old technology - take ages to respond to remote signal - which causes confusion as you then push the buttons multiple times - upsetting the settings on TV - really aggravating

Wonderful staff, great facilities and beautiful gardens. Great shower and water pressure.

It was quite noisy and there was a problem with the shower drain.

The size of the rooms and the pool is big

The strong sewer smell form the toilet it made our stay uncomfortable. The Wi-Fi signal was horrible I had to buy my daughter data

The environment, the willingness of the staff to go the extra mile. They always had a smile on their faces.

There weren't many facilities catering for our little one. Like those feeding tables at the restaurant, nor a place to bath him as we only had a shower. We also struggled a bit with keeping his bottles clean. Apart from that all was good.

The area is suitable for surrounding adventurous areas and it is also not in the city

Mbombela as whole has limited outdoor activities. Anew Resort White River doesn't have similar activities as Anew Resort Hunters in Rusternburg such as mini golf, trampoline in ground and other activities for kids.

The room we required as wheelchair friendly was not as a mobile ramp was still needed.

The buffet had a lot of variety and changed daily, the swimming pool was clean and big, the massage was worth every penny!

The chef was a bit rude once🥲, I greeted her when I got to the buffet, and when I asked for eggs she started by greeting me first, emplying that I was disrespectful by asking for eggs before greeting, whereas I had greeted her when I got to the hall. That was a bit rude.

Booking.com included breakfast and dinner in their online booking, but at the precinct, it was only breakfast. The room was damp, and the aircon was not working. There is not enough ventilation.

The Resort is very beautiful, and well maintained. I liked the breakfast options and the huge gym. The room was also spacious and private. The staff was very friendly.
