The morning view and the place was clean
Breakfast was lovely, generally the food was great. My room was spacious and comfortable.
Food was nice but we didn’t have much options
The restaurant had amazing meals cooked to perfection but the waiters can be a little more attentive.
Waiters to pay more attention to the small stuff.

Absolut nichts
The location, the room was big and spacious , loved the lounging area and the staff
A day when house keeping took a short cut cleaning our room but management rectified asap
Eu amei a hospedagem!
Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable and the electric blanket came in handy. Views from the bed were to die for. The food was great throughout, especially the dinner on Saturday night, big shout out to the chef. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Thank you for making my husband’s birthday weekend so special.
We booked the sunset picnic, when we arrived at the picnic site our table set up was the only one facing away from the sun which was baffling and not appreciated! My husband and the driver however managed to move the table to a better suited position.
Loved this place. The tented camp was a real treat.
I really enjoyed staying here.
The property was clean, and I liked the bush view from the room. It was so calming.

Breakfast was lovely. Setting lovely
Toaster is extremely slow so I gave up on toast. Suggestion to pre-make toast and keep warm. Lack of heat in tent first night.Thank you for offering an upgrade to rooms but we didnt want to fuss! I would suggest warmer duvets and warmer sheeting. I think for winter the rooms should be suggested. I thought I had booked rooms so my mistake but during really cold nights the tents are not great
The nature food and treatment

I liked the facilities, the rooms and the view.
We arranged to have our breakfast at 7am because both me and my wife were going to work, only to find that it was not prepared we had to leave without having breakfast.
It was very adventurous
The spaces on the bathroom floor
Loved absolutely everything! Accommodation is exceptional, setting and views are amazing, food is outstanding and the staff are exceptional.

The fact that the tent has aircon and electric blanket, very convenient especially during winter ❄️
I dont have a problem with the place.
Food wasn’t always the best, can improve a little bit
Excellent friendly helpful fun staff. Food and drinks amazing. Location beautiful. The Spa is great
No wifi or TV in rooms Poor water pressure
First of all thank you to Thandeka for amazing service. She also guided regarding the places and tours. Each and every staff was so welcoming. Food was 10/10 as being vegetarian it’s hard to find options but I must say chef went out of his way to accommodate us. Also the presentation skills wow like each and every item that was served was made with so much of love and it could be seen the way it was presented. They also did happy birthday dance and song for me that was proper giving me African vibes. Me and my husband loved the stay and the place was so beautiful and relaxing. Last day we also spotted giraffes which was the cutest thing. Every night u come back there is fire by the pool and that was like the cherry on top because it’s like unwinding the day. We stayed in the tent and it was so warm plus electric blanket and aircon. Never felt cold at all. We were worried that how it would turn out as it was our first time in the bush and living in the tent but it was the best experience. We would be looking forward to come again.

I love the resort was absolutely stunning!!! The room was breath taking and was not expecting such peace and serenity. The animals in our back yard was also just exceptional. The spa was also amazing loved every minute of it.
More variety to their menu and their set dinner menu. Also the pool area could be way bigger and a heated pool could be considered. I find it though a little strange that it’s riiight in front of the restaurant. I didn’t swim cause that just made me uncomfortable….i also don’t know why we are not alllowed massages inside the room if it’s a little chilly outside..
Our experience at Muluwa Lodge was truly a blend of delightful moments and some minor surprises, but overall, it was absolutely enjoyable. We are a young couple, and we chose to spend three nights there to celebrate a special occasion, my partner’s birthday and to enjoy some much needed rest and adventure. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, which immediately put us at ease. The staff showed us to our luxurious lodge, which was everything we hoped for, beautifully designed and very comfortable and scenic. We had requested a romantic setup for our room and a birthday cake, which looked stunning as we entered. Our first day was a Friday,it was supposed to be a spa day for both of us but only one person enjoyed that privilege. On the second day, we went on a private safari in Kruger National Park with our guide, Ervin. From the moment he picked us up at 5 am, his friendliness and hospitality made the experience special. Even though it was freezing early in the morning, Ervin had brought blankets for us, which was much appreciated. Back at the lodge, we relaxed with a light lunch by the pool, those burgers and wraps were simply divine, kudos to the chef! Later that evening, we enjoyed the African Sundowner with a perfect view of the sunset. That night, we also had a Braai under the stars an impressive buffet filled with hearty food. The staff made it lively by singing and dancing to celebrate many birthdays, which added a warm, festive touch that we thoroughly enjoyed. Our third day was packed with a full-day Panorama tour, guided by a cheerful and friendly guide. The tour was fantastic full of scenic spots like Mac Mac Falls, the small town of Sabie, the three rondavels, Bourke’s Potholes, and finally, hiking up to see God’s Window. Throughout our stay, the dinners were consistently good, with friendly staff, though service could have been quicker. Given the price and the luxurious nature of the lodge.
1. No WiFi or TV in their most expensive suite (we stayed in Lux 10 with a private pool), the pool is also not heated if you’re there in winter. 2. The spa is limited by having only one person working. 3. The staff seemed to be confused as we were about all the activities even the picnics which was worrisome. 4. I personally think they could have done better keeping the food warm during the breakfast buffet. 5. The cake looks nice but it is not the best.
Food, cleanliness and friendly staff
The setting is stunning, the whole dining area with the boma fire lit each night gave it that special bush feeling even though one was close to Nelspruit. Meals were excellent, staff were all great, friendly and obliging.
Not really an issue, we understand the reason for peace and quiet, no TV in the room so a visit to the lounge area to watch the Spanish F1 was needed.
Its a hidden gem 💎 very clean and quiet. All the staff members are welcoming and very nice, .The deco is on point, the tents are well decorated. Food is very nice, thanks to the chefs 👨🍳. The common areas are well decorated, nice clean pool. Dinner at the boma was my greatest highlight. They even sang and dance for my birthday 🎂 🥳 We had a great time.
Nothing, everything was on point.
Quiet and peaceful. The perfect place to rest and recharge, take time off the busy life and just bond with nature. Amazing meals provided by the property and easy to walk around.
The shower has low pressure on hot water and there is a need for more lights on the path to the restaurant from the rooms cause it gets quite dark at night, some of the lights were not working on the walking path. They could also explain that it’s a walking distance from the accommodation to the restaurant so guests don’t drive around the first few days trying to figure it out. The numbers on the tents are hard to see at night and need glow in the dark paint.

Beautiful place with great scenery, delicious food and friendly staff. I was worried about booking the tent in winter but it was warm, there's an aircon, electric blankets and hot water bottles to keep warm. We really enjoyed our stay . Would definitely go back

The staff is extremely friendly, the food was exceptional. The bom fire dinner Saturday night was just amazing. House keeping deserves a 10/10. Beautiful experience. The spa therapist’s hands work wonders!!
A particular staff member (waitress) was giving a bit of off energy that made me and my partner uncomfortable. That was the only bad thing about our stay
Everything was amazing and good service
Everything was stunning, from the reception area to the tents. The staff members are very friendly and welcoming. 10/10 minus nothing

The place, food and stuff are always great at Muluwa. I would recommend and still go there over and over again.

Room Quality
9.4/10Rooms described as spacious, well appointed with indoor/outdoor showers, comfortable beds and spectacular views directly from the bed—very strong room quality.
Amenities
8.9/10Good amenities including a pool and communal Wi‑Fi/TV area; pool and some facilities are less useful in winter (very cold pool) and no in-room TV/Wi‑Fi which is intentional, slightly tempering this score.

9.1/10Standard quality for this hotel tier

9.6/10Repeated praise for excellent breakfasts and dinners, with specific mentions of standout meals and the chef—food is a clear highlight.
