An Uaimh , superb 6 bedroom house.

An Uaimh is a lovely roomy house, well equipped and in a pretty country setting close to Killybegs. It was very clean and beds comfortable. There were nice walks from the house and any number of beautiful and interesting places to visit within close range. Everything was set up for us and we had no need to contact the owner, but had got a useful.welcome message at the beginning of our stay

Good location, great size of a house for our family.

Some hairs in the shower, fan in kitchen did not work, fireplace did not turn on, no towel rails to hand towels in bathroom! Most of pictures up in the house were scary/unnerving.

Loads of room for everyone very well spaced out all you will ever need in it with a great location

Large and spaceous

Location was great, a perfect house for a large group. Very clean and comfortable.

The mattress in the main bedroom upstairs was way too soft and the springs could be felt.

Bit far out from town and difficulty getting taxis

The house is comfortable to fit a large group of couples or families with big children. Not good for toddlers!! Be aware because there may be a tragic accident in this house!

The house is not equipped for toddlers. Very dangerous staircase. Steep and with a carpet so very easy to get stuck and just topple over. The rail in the stair case is very wide. Our 2 year old nearly made a tragic accident but we got him in time. He passed from between the rails but managed to keep hanging instead of falling a one storey of stairs. The fireplace has no guards so kids can easily get a burn. The fireplace support is with an edge and sharp corners. Kids were cutting their feet every time they stepped on it. We tried to put cushions around and also opted not to switch the fireplace because the house was not kid friendly. Kitchen is small so for a big group it is a little bit claustrophobic.

From the photos on booking.com it apperared that sea was visible from house ,and advertisrment said private beach .....Beach was around around 7 min drive away ,road is too busy and twisty to walk on so that was misleading

It was very easy to get the keys they are in a lock box at the premises. Nice and calm surroundings so peaceful will help booking again for next year.

Quite location & size of property . New bathrooms & number of them good.

The fridge is old & odour from it . Surface of house clean , beds & sofas need to be moved to clean dust from underneath.

So much space in what looks like a smaller house from the outside. The host was super-helpful and responded promptly to any questions asked

Lovely big house, perfect for a group of people and not far from slieve league, really comfortable beds, nice location, definitely recommend ❣️

The house is large, very well equipped, clean and plenty of parking. We were a family group and appreciated the space. Great heating which was needed for a new year stay. Close to Killybegs, Fintragh beach which is stunning and good base for travelling around Donegal.

Two of the four showers didn’t work. I didn’t raise with the owner as two showers were enough.

Car parking

No private beach, no locks on the room doors specifically in the first floor toilet. Cupboards are broken in upstairs rooms. But still its peaceful home.

Lovely spot. Quiet, yet close to town.
