Front door and hallway need TLC. Internet connection not always strong.

We had a great stay! The house is in a fantastic location, perfect for exploring the area. The beds were really comfortable, the rooms were spacious, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need to cook. The living room was also lovely and cosy, especially for relaxing and watching TV on rainy evening. I would definitely recommend this house. We had a wonderful stay and would happily come back!

The location was perfect and the house was fantastic.The beds and pillows were so comfortable that I need to find out where they got the pillows so I can get them for my house. The house was so clean and there was little treats left for us.

House is perfect, everything you need and very clean with just a short walk to town. Great location for visiting local sites. Owners were very accommodating and left treats on arrival, lovely touch.

Het was een rustig, goed geïsoleerd huis met een nogal eigenaardige indeling, maar ideaal om er even tussenuit te zijn.

We hebben de keuken niet gebruikt vanwege het gasfornuis en de koperen potten en pannen. Iets wat we niet gewoon zijn. Het voorpaneel van het bubbelbad zat los.

Very comfortable house. Short walk from killybegs. Convenient as a base to travel to Sliabh liag and glencolumbkille.

Very convenient to Killeybegs, clean and comfortable. It’s a really nice place. Some road noise but not terrible. Walked to center of town easily.

Beautiful furnishings, bedding.

Not enough dishes utensils etc,. odd. WiFi limited in some way to prevent me from full use of internet….if I switched to cellular data it was perfect. Road noise a real factor: house centrally located on a busy road where speed limit increases. Got earplugs to sleep. I’m thinking good house if you are out and about .. we had an issue & had to be near home base. Not ideal.

Loved everything. Easy check-in, check-out process. Clear communication from the owner. Some snacks (crisps, bread, etc) left for us, which was appreciated. Clean house. Comfortable beds. Lovely shower and bath. The heat/hot water on a timer was great and could be boosted if needed. Beautiful views of the harbour from most areas of the house. It is located on the main road into Killybegs, and less than 10 mins to stroll into town if you wanted. At times, the road was quite busy with traffic but little to no traffic at night, so it was not an issue at all. Overall, I felt very comfortable there. A home from home.

Heating downstairs was not working, but not a Problem as is was not too cold. House is located directly at the Main street.

I have mobility problems and found lack of back door key a huge problem,had there have been one i could have reached car more easily.

Our home in Ireland! A welcoming, clean house, attentive to guests' needs. It was a pleasure to return in the evenings, cook and watch TV or read a book in the living room. The house is located on the main road, just before the village. A safe sidewalk takes you to the center in just a few minutes, and in the other direction, to a well-stocked supermarket. A washing machine, dryer, and dishwasher are available. Killybegs isn't a town with many attractions, but we found it charming and very authentic, equipped with everything you need, and a good starting point for exploring Donegal.

Ideal location for exploring South Donegal. View of the harbour across the road. On the main road into Killybegs but very quiet at night so it's not an issue. Supervalue a few mins walk in one direction, the beautiful fishing port and town of Killybegs a short walk in the other direction (about 10mins). The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. A thoughtful welcome pack of milk, butter, bread, and a few snacks were left for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be back!

Very clean, comfortable home within walking distance of the city center and marina. We had some questions regarding some of the home's mechanicals and eventually met owner, Rory, who was very helpful in answering our questions. Perhaps a FAQ booklet explaining the home's mechanicals/electronics would be helpful to guests.

The home was very clean, and had all the amenities we needed. The location was excellent and within walking distance to Killybegs. We were able to travel the countryside and see the cliffs nearby as well as beautiful waterfalls, beaches and castles.

We loved our stay at Realt na Mara, at house was beautiful, spotless and so comfortable. Location is perfect, walking distance from shop and town. We will definitely be back to stay again.

House was very clean and tidy. And so easyily accessible.

Internet is so poor. Notified the owner first day. Speed is very slow that no smart tv was able to connect with wifi so useless.

Couldn’t get warm water on day 1 , on day 2 could find booster to heat water up Water pressure in bathrooms was too low

It was so quiet with a beautiful view of the bay. It felt like a traditional Irish Cottage experience.

Nice house you feel like it’s your own when your in there nice location close to shops and town is just 5 mins of a walk.

A very nice house with a lot of personal touches, Very tastefully decorated, so that you really felt at home. The kitchen had everything one would need for cooking and dining in. The house is beside a relatively busy road, so you wouldn't spend time in the garden and would have to keep a close eye on the kids. However, it was quiet in the evening, so we didn't get disturbed by the traffic and the sea views make up for it. The host is really easy to deal with. I had forgotten a piece of closing and she was kind enough to post it to me straight away.

Lovely clean and spacious house, Only a 5min walk to local supermarket and the town centre where we had some great meals. Great location to take off from to visit local beaches and sights. Would highly recommend.

Cousy and clean house few minutes walk to Killybegs

We arrived early and the house was ready for us. Having stayed in many houses throughout the country this one has by far been the best. It was tastefully decorated, beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. The house was equipped with absolutely everything we needed even down to tea bags and salt & pepper. We couldn't fault the property. I dealt with two staff members and both were friendly and efficient. There are lovely views from the 3 bedrooms. It really was like home away from home. The house is located a few minutes from Killybegs town. We walked in and out most of the time the rest of the time we drove around.

The only thing, and it's a small complaint is how warm the house is. We were afraid to tamper with the thermostat though. Haha.

Everything is good however if TVs could access wifi that would make life much easier. I find it challenging to connect the TVs with the wifi.
