Reviewed Jan 23, 2026Slightly quirky but very well equipped accommodation in a very quiet area of Kleinmond, very close to Palmiet Beach and River Lagoon. Comfortable, clean, quiet and spacious. Jeannine was a helpful and lovely host and we had a very pleasant stopover.
Some of the internal deco is affected by damp.

The room needs to be upgraded especially the kitchen and bathroom. The cleanliness can be improved.

Reviewed Jan 11, 2025The location is great for walking to the Palmiet beach area. Being on the edge of town it is easy to get to the main road for essential supplies. Kleinmond is a small town, so location is really irrelevant. The facility offers all basic comforts for all seasons and weather. The price was right!
The bathroom area does not have a ceiling and is therefore exposed to the kitchen area. Pictures do not show this. The general comfort of the bathroom can be improved with a handbasin plug and a soap/shampoo holder in the shower. The little cupboard above the handbasin could work better without a door and a (tiny) mirror (easier for shaving) above the basin would work better than the current mirror's position.

Reviewed May 25, 2023Self catering, all utensils were good and the kitchen and appliances were very good. Nice touch with choclates on the tray and beautiful roses in the room. Extra thick blanket was provided for the cold. Host was super friendly and welcoming. Very pleasant stay.

Late the 2nd day (Saturday afternoon) we noticed an issue with the toilet struggling to dispose waste. It must be noted that we never contacted the owner about it, we could just about manage as it were.
