Reviewed Apr 6, 2026Das Zimmer war ruhig gelegen, in unmittelbarer Strandnähe. An Häusern vorbei konnte man sogar das Meer sehen. Die Vermieterin war außerordentlich freundlich und kommunikativ. Da es sich um eine Art Pension handelt, gab es eine Gemeinschaftsküche und auch sehr schön gestaltete Aufenthaltsräume. Es ist den Besitzern offensichtlich wichtig, ein angenehmes Ambiente zu bieten, und das ist voll gelungen!

Das gebuchte Zimmer war relativ klein und hatte ein Fenster zu einer Außenwand, wo man nur gegen die Wand guckte. Das andere Fenster im Bad war zum Innenhof, und man konnte es eigentlich nicht wirklich öffnen, nur auf Kipp stellen.

Das einzige Fenster im Zimmer ist ca. 1,5 m von der Maier des Nachbarhauses entfernt. Das Zimmer ist so dunkel, dass man ständig auf elektrisches Licht angewiesen ist.

Loved all the small details offered by the hosts, such as complimentary rusks, coffee and tea in the room, as well as water bottles and milk in the fridge. The toiletries smelled incredibly good too! Wish we had stayed longer!

Reviewed Jan 12, 2026Die Lage ist traumhaft ,keine 2 Minuten zum Strand und ein kleiner Wanderweg direkt an der Küste entlang zum alten Hafen fanden wir jeden Morgen schön . Sehr viel Liebe zum Detail in den Zimmern und im den anderen Räumen ! Sehr sauber
Wir waren 3 Nächte dort und hätten uns nach 2 Tagen über ein paar neue Handtücher gefreut ! Der Geruch in den Schränken war feucht man konnte keine Kleidung reinlegen

The beautifully maintained walkways led us to stunning beach access and breathtaking lookout points. But what truly made our stay special was the lovely Host, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Extremely accommodating and friendly, they made us feel right at home. We can't wait to return and would highly recommend this gem to anyone!"
I would recommend considering the addition of an ice machine in the communal area or providing ice trays for the small deep freeze compartment in the room's fridge. During my stay, I noticed that ice seemed to be a scarce commodity, not just at this property, but at many accommodations in the Western Cape. Having a convenient source of ice would be a lovely touch.

Reviewed Jan 12, 2025Everything was Perfect from meeting the owners to the property and the location A beautiful house well decorated everything that you need there are no shortage of anything the location is perfect I can confidently recommend it beautiful beach and perfect walking/hiking trails safe and a friendly neighborhood there is nothing to complain the house is perfectly clean bedding are pure white and the house is spacious and on each bed was welcome treats I stayed at the bottom section of the house and it was private the owners are beautiful and friendly and welcomed us on arrival excellent and great service I will be back and I want to thank the owners for the beautiful and well decorated holiday home that they provide great hospitality thank you so much a well spent weekend
