Cash only payment is a bit annoying, considering it wasn't publicised before. Also note, you get only the bedroom and bathroom for yourself. The kitchen and dining rooms are shared, which can annoying depending on the other guests.

We had a wonderful stay at R21 Nuwara Eliya and truly enjoyed our time here. The hospitality was excellent, and the hosts were very warm, friendly, and welcoming. Nice, clean and modern room, with open space lobby detailed in wooden furniture. Our room (n102) had direct view of the waterfall. The sounds of nature and nearby river flow were comforting and relaxing.

Everything was nice, however the breakfast could be a little bit more generous for its price. Overall a great stay!

The facility location and especially the hospitality was very good. Very very special mention. JANA the manage is so welcoming and accomodative he just made the whole nuwara eliya experience that much better. Very friendly person. Bathrooms were impeccable.very clean.

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und modern. Der Gastgeber war sehr bemüht und freundlich. Die Lage ist gut und der Ort fußläufig erreichbar.

Das Zimmer ist sehr hellhörig, sodass man jedes Wort verstand was im Stockwerk darüber gesprochen wurde.

It was a great stay in R21 Nuwara Eliya. Rooms are well maintained and the place is hygienic. Jana is very nice and helped us in suggesting good food items in the city. I would recommend this hotel for people arriving in Nuwara Eliya.

Absolutely an amazing experience , specially jana and his co worker did everything they could to ensure our stay goes smoothly and memorable. Huge shout out to both of then and the host ofcourse was really friendly and managed everything , overall the service was 10/10. The place was super clean and modern , pretty close to the lake aswell, cozy bed and they supply whatever you need asap , if we come again to Nuwara Eliya i'm pretty sure we gonna choose R21 again and again for sure.

Zimmer ist gross mit ebenfalls grossem Bad. Allerdings war der Wasserdruck äusserst gering umd das Wasser eher kalt. Da es in Nuwara Eliya zimmlich frisch war, haben wir im Zimmer gefroren. ABER...es hat warme Decken auf dem Bett.

Das Frühsttück war nicht so wie wir es sonst in Srilanka erlebt haben.

Thiva war ein toller Gastgeber und die anderen Mitarbeiter waren auch sehr zuvorkommend! Ich wurde vom Flughafen in Colombo abgeholt. Auf der Fahrt zur Unterkunft tranken wir frische Kokosnüsse und hielten an einem wunderschönen Aussichtspunkt. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber, das Frühstück war sehr lecker und Thiva stand mir mit Rat und Tat zur Seite! Ich habe mich sehr willkommen gefühlt!

Clean and modern room, great location (walking distance to city center), friendly staff. One of the best accomodations which we had while travelling around Sri Lanka.

Top locatie, schone kamers en fijne (warme) douche. Personeel is super vriendelijk. Stond zelfs een verrassing klaar voor mijn verjaardag; taart, ballonnen en muziek!

Er is geen ventilatie in de badkamer waardoor het lang nat blijft. Maar er kan wel gewoon een raam open!

Very noisy, you could hear every conversation someone had in the hallway. Bed wasn’t comfortable.

We were welcomed by very friendly and attentive staff who made us feel as if we were staying in a luxury hotel. The room was beautiful, spacious, and very well furnished, with a really elegant and comfortable feel. The room was a bit cold, but we believe that if we had asked for heating it would have been arranged immediately, as the staff were very accommodating. We only stayed one night, so it did not affect our stay and we still had a great experience. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection and also specially prepared items just for us, which we really appreciated. Overall, a very pleasant and high-quality stay.

Een erg aardige host die de accommodatie goed in de gaten houdt. Kamer rook heel schoon bij aankomst en zo ziet het er ook uit. Voldoende stopcontacten en plek om je spullen neer te leggen. Zou deze plek aanraden aan andere mensen!

Enige dingetje is misschien dat er niet een goed nachtlampje zit naast het bed.

Bardzo ładny pokój w niesamowitej lokalizacji - wszędzie można bez problemu dojść pieszo, co jest na duży plus, gdy ma się mało czasu. Personal był bardzo miły i pomocny, szczególnie Pan, który jeździł tuktukiem i pomógł nam w kryzysowej sytuacji

Jedynym minusem był brak klimatyzacji, który pomógłby walczyć z zimnem i wilgocią oraz pleśń, aczkolwiek jesteśmy w stanie to wybaczyć przez to jaka pogoda charakteryzuje się Nuwara Eliya

- Ottima posizione - Il ragazzo che ci ha accolto è stato gentilissimo e molto professionale - Camera bella e spaziosa Posto molto semplice e tutto sommato pulito; per chi vuole trascorrere una notte a Nuwara Eliya è perfetto, mentre per soggiorni più lunghi potrebbe essere carente in alcune accortezze che abbiamo invece trovato nelle altre strutture qua in Sri Lanka.

The staff was very supportive and helped with us all the arrangements we asked for. The room including the washroom was very clean. The location was convenient too as it was few meters away from the town. I would recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a vacation in Nuwara Eliya.

Está situando en una zona tranquila , puedes ir a una calles principales en 20 núm andando sin problema . Hotel bonito y desayanuno muy rico ( típico de Sri Lanka )

Staff were pleasant

Arrived and the room was very mouldy and smelt like it. It was raining and we had a room overlooking the rice field behind. Above was a suite that is not insulated and sounded like a herd of elephants. The bed was like a rock and there is a problem with the roofing where there is a constant drip that is exceptionally loud and kept us both awake during the whole night.

Aardige kerel. Wel heel vochtige kamer door het weer in dit dorpje. Voor de rest wel super netjes en goede faciliteiten.

- Kamer was prima qua grootte. Het was schoon. - Vriendelijk personeel. - Prijs was prima voor 1 nachtje.

- Het was heel vochtig. Er is geen verwarming of airco aanwezig, waardoor het bed klam aanvoelt. - Ook op de badkamer bleef het erg vochtig, waardoor er schimmel aanwezig was. - Mijn vriend, die als laatste douchte, had geen warm water meer. Het was erg koud in Nuwera Eliya, dus opwarmen onder de douche was fijn geweest. - We wilden met een taxi naar Kandy en wilden dit zelf regelen. Het hotel wilde dit wel voor dezelfde prijs met ons afspreken. De taxi zou in 15 minuten er zijn, maar dit werden nog 10 minuten extra, later nog 5 minuten extra en uiteindelijk hebben we zelf eentje geregeld, want de taxi van hen is nooit op komen dagen. Een uur later waren we vertrokken. Regel je eigen taxi dus!

We had two rooms for our family. They were newly refurbished rooms with very comfortable beds and a nice modern bathroom. The shared area was excellent for our group to eat breakfast together. We had one television in the shared area and were able to get the owners to tune it in to the tennis for the finals of Wimbledon which was eagerly watched by our group, so that was an amazing service provided.

The hotel is conveniently located, the room is spacious and comfortable and the hosts are super friendly and always available to help you arrange transport, provide breakfast, etcetera.

While the beds are obviously new and clean, the rest of our room looked a bit worn down, which wasn’t clear in the pictures. However, value for money it’s a great pick.
