Reviewed Aug 30, 2026Precioso hotel muy cerca del centro caminando. La habitación familiar muy cómoda y acogedora, con bonitos muebles, camas cómodas y muchas mantas calentitas, dormimos muy a gusto. Desayuno muy rico. El personal encantador, nos ayudó en todo, nos dio muy buenos consejos y nos gestionó el transporte para el día siguiente, muchas gracias por todo.

There was a slight smell of mothballs in the room, and it was very cold. The mattress was one of the hardest and most uncomfortable mattresses I have experienced so far in Sri Lanka. I could actually feel the springs, so I barely slept. The bathroom was also extremely disappointing. Since Ella is much colder than many other places in Sri Lanka, you expect to be able to enjoy a warm shower. Unfortunately, the water pressure was extremely low and the temperature kept changing from very hot to cold. It was honestly the worst shower I have had so far in Sri Lanka. There were also not enough power outlets. To charge my phone next to the bed, I had to unplug the bedside lamp. A simple power strip or an additional outlet next to the bed would have been an easy solution. The breakfast was very poor. Even worse, I found ants inside the bowl of jam, which is completely unacceptable. Overall, the hotel was far too expensive for what it provided. The room looks beautiful, but unfortunately the actual experience was very disappointing. I would definitely not recommend this hotel, especially considering the price.

We hadden ook een patio, maar omdat het wat fris en regenachtig was konden we daar geen gebruik van maken. De ligging was prima, rustig maar in een paar minuten lopen waren we in het centrum. Prima ontbijt.
Het regende en het was wat vochtig op een van de kamers. Vloerbedekking op de vloer.

Я не понимаю, кто пишет все эти положительные отзывы! И тем самым вводит других людей в заблуждение. Номер, который нам дали требует ремонта, так как все отваливается, висит на соплях! Все очень старое. Дверь - одно название. Закрывались помимо замка на шпингалет. Белье в каких-то пятнах. Я всю ночь чесалась, как-будто кто-то кусал. Из-за этого очень плохо спала. С нами был ребенок 4 лет, он даже дома спит еще с нами, поэтому берем номер с большой кроватью. Нигде это не вызывало проблем и негатива. Здесь попросили подушку дополнительную и наткнулись на возмущение. Поэтому о радушии хозяев тоже не могу сказать ничего хорошего. Не понравилось это место. Для нас это было самое худшее проживание в Шри Ланке.

There is no heating, so the room can get quite cold at night, especially during cooler weather. The water pressure was quite poor.

La fenêtre de la chambre double standard donne sur un mur en parpaing. La chambre est petite, sombre et froide, et ses equipements sont vieillots et déglingués... Mauvais rapport qualité/prix : la chambre est bien trop chère pour ce qu'elle est !
