Excellent location, very warm on our arrival, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, very clean, had a real good feeling about the whare.

This property had everything we needed for our stay, we all loved it, especially being able to cross the road and take a walk along the beautiful beach

I booked a home and I thought it would have had a washing machine, it didn't.

Loved the views, location, the actual house is gorgeous! Big lounge, lots of space, nice and warm, clean kitchen. Loved the fact you can walk across the rd to the beach! The bed was comfy! Husband has always wanted to come to 90 mile beach for fishing and he loved it! We have a drone and we caught just in front of the house huge snapper!!

The shower is lovely, just felt a bit too open? No curtains for the window, very open space felt like the water from the shower was going everywhere. Single beds were fine, just a bit narrow? These are only minor things we still loved our stay and would love to come back during summer ☀️

Location, space, the lounge area is massive, love the deck infront & at the back, BBQ was perfect rooms are big & spacious loved the outdoor shower / tap especially for after the beach. The bathroom is huge! Love the shower & great parking!

Wow factor when we stepped inside and looked out the windows. Right across from the bay. View +++ Lots of room. Even with some unkind weather there was plenty of room to be comfortable and location is great. Our host has been very attentive and so wonderful to deal with.

Great location with beach just across the road. Great wifi once the new router was installed (and this was done as soon as it could have been, as the original one when we first arrived was faulty). It was also really good that laundry facilities were made available to us. Only one bathroom but a great big shower which was good.

We had to wait for half an hour on arrival before we got the lock box code. The BBQ area behind the property was bare concrete and not very nice so we didn't use it.

The location was directly across from the beach, and the accommodation was clean, cozy.

Negative aspects: There were no laundry facilities just in case you want to book for a couple of days. Take your care pack(bodywash), I was suggested to use shampoo and hand wash as bodywash when these stuff are formulated differently. Shampoo sachets were not 2in1 as most hotels have. Also make note you will have to Use, wash and put away things to it's respective place. Which also conflicts with check out time. Also due to this rule please make sure to wash all your dishes and cups before use for hygiene reason. All dishes outer layers were dirty and had power built-ups. Check-out: The 9:30 AM check-out time felt rushed.

We had an amazing stay here ans hope to be back soon!! Clean and spacious. Excellent communication. Fantastic location. Close to beach, shops, walks, horse trekking, swimming, surfing, all of it!

The location was incredible - across the road from the beach. Loved listening to the sound of the beach and watching the rolling waves. Clean, cosy, comfy beds, great shower. The sunset horse trek was magical.

No laundry facilities (one should never assume) and did not check this. Had to go to Kaitaia to do washing, was a bit of a mission oh well. Was required to bring own beach towels (not always possible when you’re on multiple flights). Check out at 930am 😢 morning was a bit rushed.

The location was amazing, the home was beautiful, and the host was great. The home provided everything we needed and was situated directly across from the beach. It was clean and tidy, truly feeling like a home away from home. This space allowed my family and me to relax after our travels around the North Island. We thoroughly enjoyed the sound of the ocean and the opportunity to disconnect from the city's hustle and bustle. Should we find ourselves in the area again, we would certainly book this accommodation. We highly recommend it.

The house is clean and tidy and faces the sea with a pleasant view. There was a minor problem but the owner was very proactive in helping to solve it and it did not affect my trip.

Rules there’s so many of them it makes you feel like you can’t relax and enjoy the place. The rules around having visitors is far to stringent they are not to dine there but we did have visitors (daughter her hubby and our Grandson) we had takeaways for dinner and they stayed and dined with us but we felt uncomfortable them being there at dinner time. Actually the owner turned up unannounced about an hour or so after we arrived and came to the lounge ranchslider where the four of us were sitting around talking we feel he should’ve come to the front door and knocked. He supposedly came to pick up a glass that had a crack in it which he could have picked up after we had left, and to explain why the bedroom door had no key, which he could have done via txt, we feel he was just coming to check us out. Also the couches are old and uncomfortable. As much as we liked the location we would not stay there again because you are just not made to feel welcome.

Absolutely stunning location with great views especially at sunset. Unfortunately the list of house rules (more donts than dos) included in the check in instructions didn't make us feel at all welcome. Appreciate this has already been covered off in previous reviews, together with the host's explanation, but I do feel this would be better left for the welcome book and not the check in instructions on the app. Apartment was very basic and functional with no personal touches at all. Furniture and beds uncomfortable. We had to wash the glasses before we could use them. Despite this, when we messaged the host regarding the shortage of towels they responded extremely promptly bringing some round within minutes along with bottles of fresh water

The location is as amazing

They placed a lot of emphasis on rules and abiding by rules which took a little bit away from the ability to relax and have a good time.

Awesome location, beautiful views of the ocean, falling asleep listening to the waves crashing on the shores. Just what we needed before our kids go back to school. A little R & R and family time!

Loved everything about the property especially the outdoor shower to wash all the sand off!

Opposite the beach which was just as required. Very well appointed with everything required with anything missing quickly replaced by Rima. A great location for getting around the area such as Cape Reinga and the historic gum fields also surfing locally No problems.

Local dining options a bit limited but plenty available in nearby Kaitaia.

Great location on the beach with a nice little deck to watch the sunset and an outside shower to was off the salt and sand from the beach. We made a mistake with our booking and only had 2 nights instead of 3 but our host was gracious and gave us time to collect ourselves before the next group arrived. Would stay again if we find ourselves in this part of the world.

Plates and cutlery needed a clean but this could have been due to the dish washer.

Superb location across from the beach. Hosts were very helpful in giving us early access.

One hand towel for the kitchen and toilet is not enough with six guests. The hot water was scalding in the kitchen. It was humid and a fan would have made the nights more comfortable.
