La cercanía y el trabajo del personal que gestiona el alojamiento. La ubicación es privilegiada para la vista. El bar tiene bebidas y diferente tipo de comida. El servicio es de diez.

El acceso no es apto para todos los públicos.

Ideal para aquellos quiénes buscan desconexión total y absoluta y conexión con plena naturaleza y jungla. No fue nuestro caso desafortunadamente. Camino de dificil acceso para llegar, por lo que se precisa de alguien que te lleve a Port Barton y te recoja constantemente, está bastante alejado. Si te gusta alojarte en el pueblo y alquilar una moto para ir desplazándote constantemente para visitar sitios, no es la mejor ubicación. No hay aire acondicionado, mucho calor, no había wifi, etc. No era lo que esperábamos, por lo que al final decidimos alojarnos en el pueblo de Port Barton.

Wir verbrachten im April 4 Nächte in der Unterkunft. Es war bezaubernd in der Ruhe auf dem Berg mit dem fantastischen Blick aufs Grüne und Meer zu wohnen. Egal ob bei Sonne oder Gewitter. Morgens wurde uns frischer Kaffee gebracht, damit wir gemütlich vor dem Frühstück wach werden konnten. Direkt vor unserem Balkon spielten die Affen in den Bäumen. Ich sah sogar ein Paar außergewöhnliche Vögel. Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass man wirklich im Dschungel ist - egal ob es die Vielzahl an Insekten sowie die extreme Luftfeuchtigkeit betrifft. Die Zufahrtsstraße ist außerdem wirklich eine Katastrophe. Würden wir aber wieder in Kauf nehmen! :-)

Our stay at The View was spectacular! It exceeded our expectations. Jimmy and Nico are.great hosts! The bungalows are clean, comfy with a fabulous view of the jungle out to the ocean. The breakfasts are very good and you have to try their banana chocolate bread. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Many thanks to Jimmy and Nicoya, they were very attentive. They were also very helpful with transportation. You can even enjoy watching the sunset from the balcony. The view is magnificent and the jungle area is a wonderful place to stay. White Beach is a 15-minute walk away and there are 2 restaurants nearby offering plenty of food and drink options. We had a very peaceful and beautiful holiday. We recommend it to everyone.

Owners were really nice, the location was great. I was a little worried about being in the jungle in case of bugs etc in the room but all I got was a tiny spider and a gecko. Normally I get bitten like crazy by mosquitoes but the mosquito net did a great job. The breakfast was great and there’s a really good restaurant close by. The beach was also stunning.

Because of there only being a fan it does get extremely hot but the views and the peace and quiet make being a bit hot totally worth it.

Le logement est vraiment excentré du village de port barton et la route est plutôt cabossée. Un petit peu cher selon nous, nous nous attendions a plus d’équipement pour ce prix la (clim et eau chaude) comparé a ce que nous avions eu précédemment au philippines Nous vous conseillons de prendre le taci boat ou un tuktuk jusqu’a la white beach (150php par personne) et de faire le reste du chemin a pied car le tuktuk jusqu’au logement coute 600php alors que ca rajoute 5min

Vue incroyable, dépaysement assuré, restaurant collé au logement, white beach à 10/15mn en marchant doucement et contempler la jungle.

Die Lodge ist nicht einmal 2 Jahre alt und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Es gibt einen wunderschönen Ausblick auf das Meer und die Bucht (daher der Name). Die Gastgeber (Jimmy und Nico) sind sehr freundlich und stehen bei Fragen immer zur Verfügung. Auch wenn der Weg von Port Barton eine kleine Herausforderung ist, so ist es das auf jeden Fall wert. Fußläufig erreichbar ist der White Beach. Von dort kann man auch ein Wassertaxi nach Port Barton nehmen (neben dem regulärem TukTuk). Neben der Lodge befinden sich 2 Restaurants, die empfehlenswert sind. Auch von dort kann man einen wunderbaren Ausblick geniessen.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au View Jungle. L'accueil de Jimmy et Nico était vraiment top. Ils sont de très bon conseil, toujours disponible et d'une super gentillesse. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux et la vue depuis le lodge est tout simplement incroyable. Cela restera sans aucun doute l'un des plus beaux souvenirs de notre voyage aux Philippines.

Ein wundervolles Erlebnis im Dschungel. Das Personal ist sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind mit Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet. Rose, die gute Seele des Hauses, kümmert sich um köstliches Frühstück. Die Lage ist abgelegen und perfekt für erholsame Tage. White Beach ist nicht weit. Ein TukTuk Service kann immer organisiert werden. Wer ein einzigartiges, authentisches Dschungelerlebnis erleben möchte, mit Affen und Natur, der ist hier genau richtig. Man sollte sich vorher informieren, dass es kein warmes Wasser zum Duschen gibt und keine Klimaanlage vorhanden ist. Das war für mich absolut kein Problem.

Es war alles sehr schön

Sehr schöne Lage mit toller Aussicht. Die Besitzer machen den Aufenthalt besonders - vielen Dank die Hilfsbereitschaft. Auch die lieben Hunde und Katzen waren für uns toll. Zum Strand sind es ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß und das Schlafen mit Moskitonetz ein kleines Abenteuer.

Bravo à Jimmy et Nico pour leurs magnifiques lodges au milieu de la jungle. Un moment de partage très agréable, on aurait aimé rester plus qu'une nuit. Un vrai régal également au petit déjeuner, tout est frais et fait maison. Je recommande à 100%. Bonne continuation à vous, plein de bonheur et de réussite dans vos futurs projets.

We stayed at The View in Port Barton for six nights and absolutely loved it. Nico, Jimmy, and Rose are truly lovely human beings and made us feel welcome from the very first moment. Jean-Luc, the house dog, is an absolute character, and Charly and le chat (the cats, obviously 😄) are incredibly sweet and added so much charm to our stay. The place itself is calm and laid-back, beautifully located on a hill and surrounded by a paradise-like garden. It’s the perfect spot to slow down, relax, and enjoy nature. We felt completely at home here — cozy, peaceful, and cared for. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a tranquil, heartwarming place in Port Barton. PS: Bring mosquito repellent if you plan to sit outside in the afternoons — don’t forget, you’re in the jungle! 🦟🌴

Excellente communication, efficacité et réactivité. La localisation juste dingue avec une vue magique. L’arrivée en jungle tricycle, la montée des marches. L’accueil, la convivialité, les échanges. Le restaurant plus bas, délicieux. Un endroit hors du temps, hors de l’ordinaire. Merci

We had a wonderful stay. The hosts were so friendly and created a warm, family-like atmosphere. They were very helpful and attentive. We loved it here.

Los propietarios son muy majos. Las casitas están muy cuidadas y es un sitio super tranquilo y puedes tener intimidad ya que la cabaña se puede cerrar. Nos encantó el lugar. Lo recomiendo 100%

On a adoré l'emplacement, la vue, le calme. On a aussi apprécié les échanges avec Jimmy et Nico. Vraiment endroit idéal pour se ressourcer. En plus 10 mn à pied de White beach. Accès en tuk-tuk, bateaux ou comme nous en 2-roues. Sur le 2 roues, les 3 derniers km supposent un peu de maîtrise sur certains passages avec ornières. Çela amplifie le parfum du depaysement.

Prachtige locatie, middenin de natuur met een geweldig uitzicht! White beach is een gewelig strand op loopafstand. Het is wel moeilijk om op de locatie te komen en dus ook om even naar een andere plek te gaan. Jimmy en Nicolas zijn geweldige en hulpzame mensen en het ontbijt was echt top!!

Je zit in de jungle en dus zijn er veel beestjes (dat weet je vantevoren). Warme douche zou nog lekker zijn, maar die staat op de planning hoor ik

The villas at the View have been beautifully designed. The views from the bed across to jungle and the bay are stunning. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Good WiFi. To reach the lodge you either have to take a very bumpy tuktuk ride from port barton (it is not possible with a normal car) or we found it preferable to take a boat from port barton to white beach (they run regularly until around 4). The walk is easy from white beach. Only 15 minutes. The beach itself is a soft sandy beach that was never too busy, so it was perfect to have this within easy reach of the lodge. There is no restaurant at the View but the bar restaurant next door is excellent.

L'emplacement permet de se ressourcer tout en pouvant accéder aisément à la plus belle plage, soit White beach. Port Barton est également facile d'accès via les navettes bateaux qui partent très régulièrement de White Beach. La vue est magnifique et que dire de l'accueil réservé par Jimmy et Nico qui sont des hôtes extrêmement attentifs.

Malgré que nous ayons réservé 4 nuits nous serions volontiers restés qq nuits supplémentaires !

Séjour incroyable en pleine jungle ! Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans cet hôtel niché au cœur de la jungle aux Philippines, et l’expérience a été tout simplement magique. Le cadre est dépaysant, calme et ressourçant. Jimmy et John sont des hôtes exceptionnels : adorables, attentionnés et toujours aux petits soins. Ils font vraiment tout pour que le séjour se passe parfaitement et donnent d’excellents conseils. Ils peuvent également s’occuper des réservations de transferts, ce qui est très appréciable et facilite énormément l’organisation. Une adresse que je recommande les yeux fermés pour vivre une expérience authentique et inoubliable.

This place is such a gem! At a beautiful 15 minute walk from the white beach, Jimmy and Nico offer comfortable cabins with an amazing jungle and sea view. We felt immediately welcomed by their warm hospitality. Having delicious warm banana bread as breakfast while looking out over the sea is the best start of the day. We will certainly recommend this place to everyone visiting Palawan.

There could be more storage space, for those of us who fail to travel light. For older travellers this may not be ideal accomodation, there is some walking involved, and the cabins are located on a hill.

Une vue à couper le souffle en plein coeur de la jungle. C’est une belle déconnexion de dormir dans une des lodges, se réveiller avec la lumière du jour et le bruit des oiseaux. Une accueil des plus chaleureux et que dire du petit déjeuner qui est juste parfait ! Jimmy et Nicolas mettent tout en œuvre pour rendre votre séjour agréable.

Jimmy en Nicolas zijn de beste hosts die je je maar kunt voorstellen. De locatie is prachtig. En de bungalows zijn goed met prachtig uitzicht.

The access to the place is not easy, but it comes with the feeling to be in the middle of the jungle, because you are and it is amazing. ( but don't go here if you have back pains, the road will not be nice with you). The owner couple are the best, really nice and helpful for every part of our stay. the lodges are great with an amazing view over the sea. The breakfast in front of the sea is a great relaxing time, and the lodge is simple but with. everything you need for this type of stay. And with the 2 bar /restaurants close by you can jsut spend multiple days away from "civilisation" just enjoying the nature and the view.

The cold showers are not easy at the end of the day if the weather is not sunny, but this is part of the adventure and it definitely gives some extra spice to the stay.

Hidden gem of Port Barton away from all the hustle and bustle in peaceful tranquility. A Tuk Tuk ride from Port Barton or catch a water taxi from White Beach which is walkable in 10 mins ! Jimmy and Nico were the perfect hosts too, they were more like staying with friends .

The view, the jungle, and the accommodation were exceptional. The owners, Jim and Nico, were very kind and welcoming. The coffee and the homemade banana bread were delicious — especially the banana bread, which was a perfect treat. The place is quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful nature, making it ideal for relaxation. Just a few meters away there is a great restaurant with amazing views and excellent food. Overall, a wonderful stay in a calm and harmonious spot. Highly recommended!

J’ai passé un super séjour dans les Lodges de la Jungle chez Nico et Jimmy ! Un super accueil et un service de qualité. Une vue incroyable, 15 minutes à pied seulement de la White beach ! Un super chauffeur de touktouk peut vous amener jusqu’à Port Barton et vous ramener aux bungalows à tout moment de la journée. Je reviendrai pour sur ! PS : faites des plus grosses parts de Banana bread il est trop trop bon !!

Le logement est fidèle aux photos. La vue est superbe. Jimmy et Nicolas sont au petit soin pour nous. Très bon petit déjeuner chez eux. Laissez-vous guider par eux pour organiser les transferts et excursions. Une belle expérience si on veut sortir des sentiers battus. On recommande +++

Endroit magique ! Reclus dans la jungle, à 15min en tuktuk du centre de Port Barton, The view est une expérience à vivre. L’endroit est isolé sur un flanc de colline, en plein milieu de la jungle, avec 4 bungalows bien équipés (électricité, eau courante, wifi!). Et évidemment, il offre un vue magnifique sur la baie de Port Barton. Jimmy et Nico sont des hôtes extraordinaires et authentiques, qui ont fait ce pari fou de s’installer dans la jungle philippine. Pari réussi ! Le petit-déjeuner est sublime, les bungalows sont très bien pensés et le jardin est paradisiaque. On trouve 2 autres Lodges avec restaurant au même endroit, accessibles à pied, et tout aussi charmants, ce qui évite d’avoir à aller dans le centre de Port Barton pour manger le soir. Last but not least, le lodge est a 15min à pied de White Beach, la plus belle plage des environs. A savoir : il n’y a pas d’eau chaude dans les bungalows, ce qui n’est pas problématique vue la chaleur et cela fait partie de l’expérience « Welcome to the jungle ».

Tout l’emplacement, la sympathie et la disponibilités des hôtes, la vue, la propreté, le petit déjeuner …! Bref séjour idéal et facile !

Ein Paradies mitten im Dschungel mit traumhaftem Blick auf die Inselwelt. Das Frühstück ist sehr fein!Etwas ausserhalb, aber der Transport von und nach Port Barton ist jederzeit gewährleistet. Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit, achten auf jedes Detail, und es ist sehr schön zu sehen, wie gut hier das Miteinander von Ausländern und Einheimischen funktioniert.

Un immense merci, du fond du cœur, à Jimmy, Nico et Rose pour leur accueil exceptionnel. Dès notre arrivée, nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison, entourés de personnes adorables, disponibles et attentionnées. Nous avons passé un moment absolument formidable dans cet hôtel qui est un véritable havre de paix. L’établissement est impeccablement propre, très bien entretenu et surtout extrêmement reposant. La vue est tout simplement extraordinaire : se réveiller chaque matin face à ce paysage est un vrai privilège et invite instantanément à la détente et au lâcher-prise. Le petit déjeuner préparé par Nico mérite à lui seul le détour : tout est délicieux, fait avec soin et générosité. Et alors le banana bread… à goûter absolument. L’hôtel ne dispose pas de restaurant, mais ce n’est absolument pas un inconvénient. Juste en dessous se trouve un restaurant excellent, avec beaucoup de choix : on peut manger de tout, à toute heure, et toujours très bien. C’est extrêmement pratique et agréable, surtout dans un cadre aussi joli. Cet hôtel est bien plus qu’un simple lieu où dormir : c’est une véritable expérience, une escapade à ne surtout pas manquer lorsqu’on vient à Port Barton. Nous repartons avec des souvenirs merveilleux et une seule envie : revenir le plus vite possible. Encore merci à toute l’équipe

Perfect to unwind, away from the crowds, beautiful view, near to white beach

We loved the location, so peaceful with beautiful views. The beach is a manageable 15min walk and is a stunning spot. The breakfast was lovely too. A couple of Typhoons passed through upper Palawan while we were visiting. Jimmy and Nico looked after us well and were very accomodating when we had to change our travel plans. They went out of their way to help book transport to our next location despite the difficult road conditions the weather caused.

Przepiękne widoki, bardzo mili i sympatyczni gospodarze. W pobliżu znajduje się fajne miejsce do chillu. Można spotkać dziko żyjące małpki, warany i motyle

Dla nas to nie był minus i na tym polega wyjątkowość tego miejsca. Ale nocleg jest serio oddalony od wszystkiego.

Tout était parfait. Du confort du logement à la vue incroyable en passant par le petit déjeuner délicieux aux justes quantités, sans oublier le calme du lieu. Il faut compter une vingtaine de minutes de tuktuk dans un chemin de jungle avant d'arriver mais ça en vaut vraiment la peine ! Deux plages magnifiques accessibles à pied et deux restaurants à proximité. Un immense merci à nos hôtes Nico et Jimmy, deux perles de Port Barton. Leur disponibilité pour booker un transfert, une sortie bateau, ou toute autre demande et leur gentillesse ont rendu notre séjour inoubliable. Tot ens ha encantat! La Cabanya era preciosa, molt ben cuidada, espaiosa i amb tot el que necessitàvem! Les vistes excepcionals des d’allà adalt, despertar-se pel matí aquí no te preu! Jimmy i Nico son un encant, sempre molt servicials i molt amables 😍 ens van preparar un Island Hopping que ens recollia just a la platja d’abaix. L’entorn de naturalesa és una passada! Tenen un moixet i canets molt aguts 🤗 I el berenar amb les vistes, no es pot demanar més, el pa fet del dia! El banana bread increïble de bo! I el cafè boníssim! Per anar al centre de Port Barton sempre teníem a en Marlon disponible, un jove que ens duia amb el seu Tuk-Tuk, encantador! Les atlotes del bar-restaurant son maravelloses i simpàtiques, ens van preparar un plat deliciós per sopar!

Le service est d’une qualité irréprochable : Jimmy, Nico et Rose sont aux petits soins du début à la fin. On ne manque de rien et ils répondent à tous vos besoins. Nous avons passé 2 jours inoubliables dans cet endroit, qui a été le meilleur moment de tout notre voyage. Un immense merci à toute l’équipe pour cette expérience mémorable. La chambre était spacieuse, avec une vue imprenable sur la jungle et l’océan Le petit déjeuner fait maison était excellent Les hôtes Jimmy et Nicolas sont adorables, à l’écoute et avec de bons conseils. La route pour y accéder est difficile d’accès. Suivez leur conseil : allez-y en Tuktuk pour la première fois voyez ensuite si vous le sentez

Emplacement exceptionnel dans la jungle, éloigné de l'agitation de la ville. Vue magique depuis le logement. Le couple de Français qui tient les lieux est très sympathique, tout comme le personnel philippins. Les logements sont très confortables, tout comme la literie. Électricité 24/24h. Eau potable disponible en illimité. On y accède par un chemin accidenté (en tuctuc ou scooter). Petit déjeuner sur place le matin. Deux restaurants collés au logement, très qualitatifs ! On a vraiment adoré notre séjour, on recommande 100%

Localização incrível. Merece o seu nome , muito bem enquadrado na selva. O acesso pode não ser o mais fácil, o que é necessário para ter um alojamento tão bem localizado. Os anfitriões são incrivelmente amáveis e prestáveis. Os quartos são muito recentes e muito bem conseguidos

Wyjątkowo piękna lokalizacja z zapierającym dech w piersi widokiem na zatokę i dżunglę, z codzienną możliwością słuchania muzyki lasu i szumu fal oceanu. A dodatkowo niezwykła troskliwość gospodarzy, dbających o każdy aspekt pobytu turystów w ich resorcie. Bliskość natury i odległość od cywilizacji są w dzisiejszych czasach najwyższą wartością. PS Pozdrówcie koniecznie kota - Charlie.

The couple who runs this accommodation gave us a warm welcome. They offered us everything we needed and it was pure relaxation. The View was stunning and the breakfast was incredibly delicious. Highly recommended!

Incredible sea and bay view, really really good. Seems like paradise. Also, very good coffee and breakfast for 250-350php. The hosts are amazingly kind. They organised everything for us (pick up, island tour, van to Puerto Princesa, etc). Being 10 minutes walking from White Beach was the best (people staying in town need to take boat taxi or tuk tuk). Two restaurants are available to eat at night right by the hotel.

Not a problem for us, but you should know, this is not your tipical hotel. Electricity works great but is solar powered, no hot water (it’s always hot outside so not a problem). Wifi is good not great. The trip to get there is not easy, although the hosts arranged everything for us which make it easier. Try not to bring big suitcases.

Nous n’avons pas l’habitude de laisser des avis, mais cette fois-ci, nous le faisons! Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel. Nous avons fait la découverte de Jimmy et Nicolas, deux personnes formidables qui ont tout mis en œuvre pour nous mettre à l’aise et nous rassurer pendant qu’un typhon traversait l’île de Palawan. Le personnel attentionné et amical, la vue imprenable depuis les lodges et la jungle sauvage (où l’on peut observer des singes) sont les atouts majeurs de ce lieu. La White Beach, accessible en 10 minutes à pied, est un véritable paradis : nous avons eu la chance de l’avoir rien que pour nous deux matinées d’affilée. Un lieu que nous recommandons sans hésiter!

We had a wonderful stay at The View. The owners were incredibly friendly, easy to communicate with, and always very helpful whenever we needed anything. There are two nice bars just a short walk away where you can enjoy a good meal and a drink while taking in some stunning views — a perfect spot to relax. One of the highlights was definitely White Beach, which is just about a 15-minute walk from the lodge. It’s absolutely beautiful and well worth the short walk. Everything was exactly as described in the listing — no surprises, just a great experience. Highly recommended!

I loved being out in the jungle. Fully immersed into nature. Breakfast was very good, facilities were just was was required. The owners were magical. White beach 10 to 15 minute walk away. Restaurant very local too

The road to get there. Especially after a 3 hour minivan ride with a nutter of a driver and then this very uneven road to get to the accomodation by tuk tuk that’s my only negative

The view in the morning was absolutely lovely & the hosts are just great! Breakfast was a real highlight for me on the trip, looking out across the jungle.

I was staying solo and unfortunately the weather was particularly bad, so it was a little isolated for me (not really in the hosts control though!). I also don't think I was aware of how bumpy/intense the journey to get to the accommodation was either, not to be underestimated!

The two owners are super friendly and attentive. The view is amazing and the accomodation is a perfect place to unwind There are two restaurants next door and the food is good so you don’t need to travel back into the main town A 15 minute walk to white beach where you can get a taxi boat to town or coconut beach if you don’t want to tuk tuk

This isn’t something the owners can change but bring bug spray. Staying in the jungle means there are a lot of mosquitos and unfortunately they really liked the taste of me. The accomodation provides mosquito nets :)

We had a truly wonderful stay! From the warm and welcoming hospitality of our hosts, Jimmy and Nico, to the unique charm of the place itself – everything exceeded our expectations. The road to the property is a bit rough, but it adds to the adventure and overall experience. While it’s not a luxury stay, everything is thoughtfully designed and created with love. The attention to detail really makes a difference. There are also two excellent restaurants nearby, recommended by our hosts. Our favorite was the one run by Thomas – an absolute must-visit. We would love to come back and can wholeheartedly recommend this special place to anyone looking for something authentic and full of character.

Nico and Jimmy are amazing hosts and two of the nicest guys you can meet. They were welcoming from check in to check out. The breakfast quality was 10/10. Beautiful fresh bread. Great coffee and Jimmy went out of his way to make breakfast very early for us when checking out. The views of the surrounding jungle and wider islands is straight out of paradise.

The only real thing we didn’t “like” was the journey along a very dirt road. Though of course this is no fault of the hosts or property. They went out of their way to ensure we had tuk tuk options.

Authentic jungle vibes, location and superb hospitality. Let the jungle tuktuk rattle you free and unwind in the lush green escape, with plenty of nearby beach and island views.

first stop on our palawan tour and I would say the best - incredible views into bay, cozy and very clean bamboo villas, tasty simple breakfast and very helpful owners. If you want to stay out of loud place but still close enough in case you want have more fun, choose this place as it is like from a fairy tale. Will recommend everywhere!! Best way to reach the accommodation is by boat taxi from port barton
