Reviewed Aug 11, 2026The experience at this stay was worth every rupee. The only inconvenience was getting to the property, as it is located on a quite a slope. Apart from that, everything was wonderful. The environment was peaceful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was extremely supportive and welcoming. The overall vibe was amazing, natural, serene, and refreshing. Truly a great place to unwind and enjoy some peaceful time.
The only major concern was reaching the resort. The approach involves a partially completed slope that is quite steep and uneven. It feels unsafe, as one wrong step could easily lead to a fall and potentially serious consequences. This access route definitely needs attention and improvement to ensure guests can reach the resort safely.

The weather during our stay made the experience even more special—calm, pleasant, and perfect for relaxation. Overall, a lovely place with great hospitality. Highly recommended!

Connectivity between room and reception, kitchen was not there, the complimentary tea and coffee satchels were not provided, we felt deprived of this, having tea or coffee, early in the morning, was not there 😅 🙃 😑, the main door and the sliding french window was not satisfactory, for temperatures upto 2 degrees Celsius,in the evenings

This property is located a few mins away from main road but upon reaching here, you won’t be guilty by choosing this. Seriously this has been a great choice. Rooms and washrooms were pretty clean, food prices are not much high, rooms interiors are beautifully chosen and all above Prem Ji(the host) took care of everything from guiding how to reach here to exploration options nearby. Highly recommended

Reviewed Sep 25, 2024I had a great stay at Rare ones, nestled away in Mukhteshwar this property offers a relaxing and peaceful stay. The room was spacious and very well designed. Loved the attention to details in the decor. The property offers beautiful views of the mountains. The property manager Manish was very attentive and responsive and made our stay more comfortable. There's a game room where you can play Foosball, table tennis, carrom and chess. The food on the property was very homely and light on the stomach. Highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing stay in the mountains.
Only shortcoming that I felt was there was a short 150 mtrs slope that one needs to climb to get to the property. Not a problem for young people but can be a challenge for people above 50 years.

I stayed at dorms and I would really appreciate if a cabin fan included in each beds to avoid any soffocation. Rest all good

Reviewed Mar 23, 2024Had a great stay here. It’s one of the nicest places to stay in Mukteshwar. Owner is a really good host and the staff are very polite and make you feel like home. I have stayed here with my partner and we absolutely loved it here. The food is amazing. If you’re a vegetarian, then definitely try the Palak Paneer here. If you’re a non vegetarian then try the chicken curry. If you’re looking for tranquility, then I highly recommend this place. I have been traveling for many years and this is one of my nicest and homeliest stays. Mukeshwar has a lot to explore and if you’re up for a bit of adventure then it has everything to offer. A note to remember - you need to hike to get to the property but there is a saying that if you gotta hike it’s gotta be good.
