Reviewed Aug 13, 2026L’emplacement de l’hôtel, la facilité pour y arriver avec la voiture (été), le petit-déjeuner était complet avec des produits de qualité. Le propriétaire nous a volontiers conseillé pour le souper et aussi la randonnée que nous voulions faire. Parking gratuit devant l’hôtel à cette période.

Reviewed Jul 16, 2026Très bon accueil du propriétaire et du personnel. Thierry nous a concocté un parcours VTT sur mesure. Très bien mangé au restaurant Le Chaudron qui appartient au même propriétaire. Il nous à même véhiculé jusqu'au restaurant. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

Reviewed Mar 24, 2026De locatie is absoluut top, letterlijk OP de skipiste met parkeren voor de deur. De eigenaar is een enorm lieve behulpzame man, heeft onze skipassen voor ons geregeld dus konden meteen beginnen skiën. Skilokaal met verwarmers voor de skibotten. Zeker niet te duur geprijsd
De eetzaal is heel ongezellig, voelt als een refter. Het ontbijt is basic, geen vers brood (enkel af te bakken), weinig verse opties. Het restaurant was niet duur maar héél basic. Onze "luxe kamer" was enorm basic en ongezellig, was ook geen dubbel bed maar twee enkele bedden tegen elkaar.

15 minute walk to the beginner slopes with all your ski stuff … nearly killed you before you put your skis on!! No menu and prices for the evening meals - so couldn’t plan to eat there because children may not have options. One night we did eat there was disappointing with a cheese night and boiled potatoes - very expensive and not enough food/options. We ordered takeaway pizza from a nearby hotel restaurant to fill the kids afterwards!

L’HÔTEL que nous avions réservé (chalet MONTRIOND ) situé au centre des CROSETS était fermé et nous avons été prévenu le jour même par SMS et par téléphone que notre séjour serait sur un autre Hôtel ( à savoir HOTEL LE CHAUDRON ) La démarche nous semble quelque peu étonnante ( prestation différente , lieu différent et accès de l’hôtel pas simple car situé à 15 minutes du centre des crosets sur un chemin de montagne ) .Cette démarche nous semble manquer de professionnalisme de la part des propriétaires

1) Bad value for money, It feels more like a hostel than a hotel, despite the high price tag (we paid chf 350-420 a night for a family of four) 2) no sound proof windows, you hear the garbage truck every morning at 7.00 3) you also hear the machines cleaning the slopes at night 4) breakfast was average, you need to ask for additional portions if you are not there at 8.00. 5) Shampoo/ body wash is the same as the hand wash 6) the ski boot warmer was not working 7) pillows and mattress were

The buffet style dinner and breakfast get crowded and it takes too long to get food on your plate. On Fridays there is just raclette for dinner and no other options. It was pricey for what you get. And as the hotel is on a ski slope you don’t have many dining options closeby (there are just two/three other restaurants in the small village a walk down the slope)

Reviewed Feb 14, 2025The access to the ski areas was absolutely amazing, with three lifts right outside the hotel, making it incredibly easy to get straight onto the slopes. Whether you're heading into Switzerland or across to the French side of the Portes du Soleil, it's all right at your doorstep. Perfect for anyone looking to maximise their time on the snow. Highly recommend!
The room was a decent size, but there wasn’t enough space to properly dry wet ski gear, which was a bit of a challenge after a long day on the slopes. Also, some of the items available for purchase in the hotel seemed very overpriced, €9 for 1.5 litres of iced tea felt excessive. It would be great if they offered lower prices on certain essentials for residents rather than charging the same rates as for day guests.

Reviewed Jan 31, 2024Chalet Montriond is in a perfect ski in ski out location and has breathtaking views of the mountains. It has recently been taking over by new owners who go above and beyond to ensure that your stay is a perfect one. All the staff that work at chalet Montriond are approachable, friendly and extremely helpful and are willing to help with any inquiries you may have in a professional manner. Breakfast is good and as Chalet Montriond is under new ownership and not long be open, the restaurant is open on limited days for evening meals at the present time, but the chef is exceptional, (This is a temporary situation and will change in the very near future), even catering for my food allergy at short notice however, there are other restaurants within walking distance. As a guest you are made to feel like a valued customer.

We were among the first guests of the season and things were still getting started up, so dinner options were limited but great. Raclette served to us by the owner then a great curry the next night - would recommend!
