Sen's Homestay - Motorbike Rental - Tours- Cao Bang City

Alles war perfekt. Wir haben spontan eine Nacht verlängert! Der Beamer ist eine sehr süße Idee. Wir haben beide Abende darüber Filme geschaut. Außerdem gibt es eine ganze Website mit Ausflugs- und Restauranttipps (auch vegetarischen), was das Planen sehr erleichtert und Sen steht auch unterwegs für alle Fragen zur Verfügung. Wir hatten eine ganz tolle Zeit und würden uns immer wieder für Sen‘s Homestay entscheiden. Sen hat uns wirklich sehr viel Planung abgenommen und unter anderem geholfen eine neue Fahrt von Hanoi nach Cao Bang zu organisieren nachdem unser ursprünglicher Bus gecancelt wurde. Außerdem hat sie unsere Rückfahrt nach Ninh Binh mit einem Nachtbus mit Abholung organisiert, davor war es möglich noch im Homestay zu duschen.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit im Sens Homestay und haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber, ordentlich und liebevoll geführt. Alle waren unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders toll fanden wir die Gemeinschaftsküche, die man selbst nutzen kann. Und ein absolutes Highlight war der Kaffee am Morgen: Der Vater der Familie macht morgens Kaffee für die Gäste – und ehrlich gesagt war das der beste Kaffee, den ich auf meinen Reisen bisher getrunken habe! ☕️❤️ Auch der Rollerverleih direkt vor Ort war super praktisch und unkompliziert. Was uns außerdem besonders positiv überrascht hat, war die tolle und sehr informative Website. Dort findet man nicht nur Informationen über die Unterkunft, sondern auch Empfehlungen für gutes Essen, Touren und viele hilfreiche Tipps für die Umgebung. Dadurch konnten wir unseren Aufenthalt in Cao Bằng ganz einfach planen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten und können das Sens Homestay wirklich von Herzen empfehlen. Eine der besten Unterkünfte unserer Reise! ❤️

The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful and assisted us with everything we needed. They arranged a day trip around Cao Bang for us, which was absolutely wonderful. They also helped us book our sleeper bus tickets and answered all of our questions. They even took us to an ATM because we didn’t realize that most places in Cao Bang only accept cash. We really appreciated how kind and helpful everyone was throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

We absolutely can recommend Sen‘s homestay. It is cozy, clean and spacious and if you like to habe breakfast there you can order something delicious! The family is so nice and helpfull and helped us with plannig the Cao Bang Loop, we could rent a bike their and they gave us ideas where to go and what to see! If you are ever in Cao Bang, we really recommend to stay there!

L’hôtel est idéalement situé à Cao Bang. Tout était parfaitement propre, aussi bien les parties communes que la chambre, qui était impeccable. Le petit-déjeuner était délicieux, avec de très bons produits. Mention spéciale au personnel, qui a été absolument adorable, accueillant et toujours prêt à aider. Concernant l’hôtel en lui-même, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés : tout était vraiment irréprochable.

La seule raison pour laquelle ma note n’est pas de 10/10 concerne les activités proposées par l’hôtel. Nous avons réservé un circuit Easy Rider de 2 jours et 1 nuit, mais l’expérience n’a malheureusement pas été à la hauteur de nos attentes. Le programme prévu initialement n’a pas été entièrement respecté. Nous n’avons eu qu’un seul Easy Rider pour deux personnes durant la première demi-journée, ce qui nous a obligés à attendre régulièrement qu’il effectue des allers-retours. Cela a eu un impact négatif sur le déroulement de l’excursion. Je recommande donc l’hôtel sans hésitation, mais je conseillerais de passer par une autre agence pour organiser les activités et les excursions.

Emplacement un peu à l'écart du centre ville, pratique pour partir explorer la boucle de Cao Bang. Famille très gentille, attentionnée et professionnelle. La chambre était grande, confortable, avec beaucoup d'eau chaude. Les scooters loués étaient neufs ou quasi neufs. Une des gérantes a même transféré l'essence de notre premier scooter sur le deuxième sans frais et du soir au lendemain !

I only have good things to say about Sen's homestay, they are so welcoming and provide many services to have the nicest experience possible. The rooms are spacious, clean and have a portable projector (which I have never seen in any other hotel), they cook delicious meals for breakfast and you can access many services which are clearly displayed on their website (including amazing local restaurants recommandations). I also rented a scooter for a day and it was super easy ! I initially planned on staying 1 night but stayed 2 additional nights because I really liked the place !

Het personeel was heel erg behulpzaam! We mochten zelfs de scooter al gebruiken de avond van aankomst om te gaan eten in de stad. Daarna met alles ons echt heel goed geholpen.

I wish I could give this more stars! She is sooo helpful with everything you need and we felt like she genuinely made an effort to ring around to get the best deals that suited our needs. It really saved a great deal of time and money on things we could not have done ourselves online. The accommodation is really comfortable, in a good location and they make a great breakfast. I hope we get to come back one day :)

Hotel familial super sympa, calme (important pour moi), où vos hôtes se plient en 4 pour vous rendre votre séjour des plus agréables. La jeune fille qui m’a reçue parle bien anglais. Si des difficultés de compréhension se présentent, on switch sur des applications de traduction. L’hotel vous propose la location de scooters et motos ou des loops en easy rider. On vous dira où aller faire les plus belles visites de la régions. Mais aussi où aller se restaurer en ville pour découvrir les spécialités locales, toutes plus authentiques les une que les autres. Je me suis régalé en solo. Je recommande à 400%. Merci à toute la famille pour sa gentillesse et son efficacité.

Everything about this homestay was great - the comfortable bed, the clean room and the shower with great water pressure. But what made Sen's special for me was the family. They were super helpful and made my trip to Cao Bang special and unique. I rented a motorcycle from Sen's for 2 of my 3 days there. They worked flawlessly. Linh sent me great restaurant recommendations via WhatsApp. I also had fun hanging out with Linh's father and mother. All very kind and thoughtful people. Will I come back? I certainly hope so!

The entire family who run the homestay are some of the friendliest people I have met on my trip. They have repeatedly gone the extra mile to help out when they didn't need to. Excellent homestay, just what you're after if you want a stress-free comfortable stay.

Les chambres sont spacieuses, propres et confortables. Chaque chambre est équipé d’un projecteur pour regarder YouTube ou Netflix ^^ Nous avons loué un scooter pour faire une boucle à moto de 5 jours et tout s’est très bien passé. Ils ont pu nous conseiller sur l’itinéraire et les différentes étapes. Le véhicule était en bon état et équipé. Linh et sa famille ont gardé nos sacs pendant tout ce temps. L’établissement est un peu excentré mais il est possible d’y marcher par des rues calmes qui longent l’eau (prendre le chemin de terre directement à droite du logement). On recommande vivement ce logement. Les propriétaires sont accueillants, serviables et disponibles. Un tout grand merci à eux !

La route peut être un peu bruyante mais 3 chambres sur les 5 sont côté fleuve.

10 stars for this super clean small hotel run by a lovely family! I had a big and quiet room with views to the river with a very comfortable bed, netflix projector and a big and very clean bathroom. The room itself and all the furniture are totally brand new. You can have homemade breakfast of your choice and good vietnamese coffee in their small rooftop upstairs. It is only 10 minutes walk from the center of Cao Bang, by the riverside. They helped me with everything I needed, like booking tickets, laundry, renting motorbikes, places to eat etc. Highly recommended!!!

The hosts were super friendly and helpful, made the stay in cao bang so much easier and welcoming!! There is breakfast every morning and it feels super homey, the motorcycle rental is super good from the homestay.

A little far from the main area but if you have a moped it’s super close

Very nice and pleasant hosts, clean room, Wifi was OK, shower worked well. There were different options for breakfast (vietnamese, western). We found the location to be great, as it was quiet (we had a room facing the river) but still close enough to the city center to just walk around and explore. Shops and restaurants are all withing walking distance. They offer motorbike/scooter rentals and multi day tours around the area. We rented a scooter which was in very good condition and ran smoothly. We felt at home right away and extended our stay by another day. We would stay there again.

No desk in the room, which is not ideal in case you'd like to do some work. But we were here for a holiday so that was no problem for us.

Homestay très agréable avec de grandes chambres, propres et fonctionnelles. Linh et ses parents sont adorables. Nous avons pu faire le check-in très tôt en arrivant d'Hanoï, louer un scooter sur place pour faire un trip de deux jours en laissant nos gros bagages, laisser du linge à laver. Rapport qualité prix imbattable. Je le recommande vivement.

קודם כל אני רוצה לציין לטובה את הזמינות בווצאפ של הצוות. מהרגע שהזמנו את המקום קיבלנו הודעות על כל המידע שצריך וכל שאלה ששאלתי קיבלתי מענה תוך כמה דקות. הם עזרו לנו להזמין אוטובוסים, עשו בשבילינו כביסה במחיר זול ותוך כמה שעות היא הייתה מוכנה, עזרו לנו להזמין משלוח של אוכל וגם סידרו לנו מקום לנוח בבוקר כשהגענו לפני שעת הצ׳ק אין- כל זה מאוד מוערך בעיני! החדרים נקיים, גדולים ומרווחים. המיטה נוחה מאוד. הזרם במקלחת מצויין ויש מים חמים בלי הגבלה. ארוחת הבוקר שהוגשה הייתה מאוד טעימה ובמחיר נגיש. ממליצה מאוד!

Would 100% recommend if you’re staying in Cao Bang, great family owned Homestay. You can rent motorcycles with them or a tour for the loop, you get delicious breakfast, the rooms are nice and spacious, they can arrange transport back to Hanoi, store your luggage…everything you need. Linh also speaks good English so it’s eazy to arrange everything!

De eigenaren van Sen’s homestay zijn super gastvrij en lief! Ze helpen met al je vragen (via de vertaalmachine) en maken de lekkerste ontbijtjes. De kamers zijn prima en lekker schone bedden!

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und relativ ruhig gelegen. Das Zimmer war groß und sauber und das Personal war überaus zuvorkommend. Sie haben uns kurzfristig noch eine Fahrt von Hanoi nach Cao Bang organisiert. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen! Zudem haben wir uns für einen drei tägigen Loop zwei Motorräder ausgeliehen, auch hier war alles sehr gut!

Bed was extremely comfortable. Projector is a nice touch though we didn’t use it. We were in good hands with Linh who offered constant recommendations for food, spa, and more. she made sure we weren’t over charged for our motorbike rental once we didn’t need it anymore, and helped us change plans to hire a driver for sightseeing and add an extra night at the homestay due to rain. her mother and father made us laugh despite a huge language barrier.

The location was just okay. Everything we wanted to do / eat was at least 15 minutes toward the city center. Lots of walks across the bridge were pretty and memorable though. The family is definitely around most of the time so I didn’t feel the same level of privacy that is typical at “hotels” - this truly felt like a “homestay.”

Phòng rộng rãi yên tĩnh và Tiện nghi cùng sự tương tác thân thiện. === There are many homestays in Cao Bang but I will choose SEN when I come back again. Friendliness can be found in many places but Sincerity and Delicaty in SEN's homestay are rare. Room are comfortable and clean, I'm interested in the delicately arrangement.

This homestay is amazing, the family is so kind and ready to help you with whatever you might need 😊 They had recommendations for places to visit, restaurants... They even found us somewhere to swim for free! They also helped us book a bus to our next destination and didn't mind when we ended up staying a night more The motorbike rental was also perfect, the room was clean and the bed and sheets are really comfortable There's also a projector and Netflix/YouTube which we really appreciated All in all, we can't recommend this homestay enough, thank you again ❤️

Excellent accommodation in Cao Bang. The family are very welcoming and the host Linh is really friendly and helpful. She helped to provide restaurant recommendations, tours, motorbike hire and buses. The rooms are really clean, comfortable and spacious. I was a little concerned the homestay was a bit outside the centre but it is only a short easy walk to get to all the restaurants etc. in the center.

Thank you to Linh and her family for the incredible hospitality. Everything was perfect, from the laundry service and scooter rental to the room with the projector and heated mattress. We initially planned to stay for two days, but we felt so comfortable that we decided to extend our stay by another two days. Before our departure, we had the honor of being invited to dine with the family at their table. They are truly very kind; it’s one of the best homestays we’ve experienced in Vietnam! Amazing Homestay, such a nice easy going family!! Cool slow part of town, easy walk into centre, about 15min. Linh really helped a lot with booking local cheap taxis and buses, and recommended nice stuff to do, like nearby festivals and stuff! 10

The host was brilliant, they helped up to book a great tour for cheaper than online and have great recommendations for food. We had a heated blanket that was very comfy and we were given a projector to watch Netflix on which was brilliant.

This was a lovely homestay. It was very clean and comfortable and my room was spacious. The owners were lovely and gave some recommendations on where to eat. The room was quiet at night and I slept very well.

We loved Sen's homestay. Our room was very clean and comfortable with lovely decor and came with the bonus of a heated mattress which was amazing after being quite cold motorbiking around in the cool Cao Bang's January weather (which felt shockingly cold on the motorbike). The real highlight though was the incredibly friendly and helpful host family who offered to help us above and beyond anywhere else we had been, and who also provided us with really excellent *local* recommendations for food and coffee, unlike pretty much everywhere else we stayed (where we often heard that we wouldn't like the local food). We also rented a motorbike from them and everything went really smoothly and easily.

The only real drawback was that our room was on the street and there were a few weddings when we were there with pretty loud karaoke that went until ~11pm (in the middle of the week, not on the weekend which surprised us). We also would have ideally stayed a bit closer to the city center

I loved everything about this place. A family runs it and they are the most adorable people ever! I arrived at 5am and they let me check-in early and I truly appreciated it! Linh was so kind and sent me so much recommendations and checked in on me to make sure I was comfortable. The dad, when I checked out, kept me company until the bus arrived. The mom, woke up a little early for me so I could take the motorbike and go explore. The rooms are excellent and comfortable as well. Honestly everything about this place is wonderful. From the owners, the rooms and the motorbike. Thank you for everything! Hope to be back here again soon! :)

Hospitality, friendliness of the family. We felt welcome from the first minute of booking the place. It was very easy to book a motorbike, get restaurant recommendations and anything else we needed!!

The host Linh was extremely helpfull and lovely during our stay. The Room was Great. I will recommand this place to everybody.

The bed was super comfortable, the room was generally clean and cozy. Most importantly though, Linh helped us out so much with our itinerary and questions (and we had lots of questions!) throughout our stay. Thanks to her we were able to make the most out of our stay in Cao Bang area.

Warm welcome as soon as we arrived. Rooms were ready early which really helped after a long bus ride. Constant communication provided through WhatsApp for places to go to eat and local events. Rented motorbikes which were delivered promptly and were reliable for the days excursion. A lovely family run homestay where nothing was too much trouble, would return.

Great service, friendly stuff and very comfortable room. The homestay is pretty close to the centre, about 5-10 minutes walk. Also it's very close to the main roads which makes it easier to get to the local landmarks.

The staff were amazing! They sorted everything for us and were so helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable and the location was close to the town, but also quiet. Definitely would recommend.
