Villa Luna - Gili Air

Ruime villa, mooi zwembad en uitgebreide faciliteiten. Service was overigens ook top!

Natuurlijk is wildlife onderdeel van het eiland, maar de schuifdeuren houden ze ook niet echt buiten. Voor een dergelijke villa mag je ook wel een fatsoenlijke wc-bril verwachten die ernstig aan vervanging toe is. De locatie is ook wat afgelegen en was even zoeken bij aankomst.

Het is een prachtig huis met een fantastische tuin en zwembad. Het eiland is een heerlijke oase van rust en ontspanning. We hebben genoten!

La atención por parte del anfitrión fue correcta. La villa tiene de todo para una estancia agradable. Mucho menaje, juegos y muchas otras cosas que hacen que no eches de menos nada. Nos costó un poco encontrarlo, pero una vez te ubicas, estás cerca de todo... como no puede ser de otra forma en Gili :)

Tenían un aire acondicionado en la habitación de fuera que goteaba todo el rato. Avisamos y supuestamente vino alguien a arreglarlo pero siguió dando problemas. No pudimos dormir en esa habitación. Muchas orugas/gusanos, no 4 0 5, 40 o 50. Sé que estamos donde estamos, pero fueron demasiadas. No pican pero no es agradable.

Nous avons aimé : Le style, la modernité de la villa, les espaces et la tailles des chambres de la villa, les équipements, produits, ustensiles, linges et serviettes dans la villa. La piscine extérieure et son petit jardin attenant. La literie excellente. La communication avec la propriétaire avant et pendant le séjour.

L'emplacement de la villa est moyen, bien que au centre de Gili Air, le quartier n'est pas des plus calme, le soir et tôt le matin, on est dérangé par le voisinage (basse des musiques et les appels à la prière de la mosquée). La villa se situe dans une zone en construction, un peu en friche. Mais une fois "enfermé" dans le jardin et la villa, on est dans un petit cocon.

I rarely leave reviews for places I stay, but this villa truly amazed us. From the very first moment, it felt like home. You can tell it wasn’t created for tourists or as a rental, but as a house made for living — with real care and intention. The villa is incredibly well equipped. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need: full cookware, all spices, snacks, and even cold drinks waiting in the fridge. Throughout the house, there are thoughtful little details designed purely for comfort — sleep masks, earplugs, flashlights, stationery, umbrellas, cozy robes, and excellent-quality toiletries. The space itself is beautiful and very cozy — perfect for a couple or a family. The interior is warm, stylish, and genuinely inviting. We also loved the smart, atmospheric lighting in the evenings — it added so much to the overall feeling. The private, fully fenced territory is another huge plus. You feel completely secluded and unseen, which makes it easy to fully relax and unwind. I can honestly say this is the best house on Gili Air. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for privacy, comfort, and a true sense of home.

Kiepskie dojście przez plac budowy, pył i błoto. Straszny hałas, w okół wszędzie budowa, mnóstwo robotników.

Villa très confort et spacieuse comprenant tous les équipements dont on peut avoir besoin, avec beaucoup de petits détails qui font la différence. La piscine est très agréable, le personnel très sympathique et arrangeant. Nous avons prolongé notre séjour !

There is nothing I can complain about. The villa is really nice—very spacious, clean, and fully equipped. The swimming pool is exactly what you need on hot days. I loved the bathroom in the master bedroom; you can enjoy your showers under the open sky. The master bedroom is detached from the main building, which I found great, but if you have small children, you will not be able to keep an eye on them during the night. To get to Villa Luna from the harbour, we took a horse cart, as we had heavy bags. The price is 1,500–2,000 IDR. If they ask for more, do bargain. The staff was really helpful and friendly. I wish I could have stayed there a little longer.

Be aware that there is some noise from the mosque, which might disturb light sleepers

La villa est très bien équipée et très bien située au centre de l'île.

Dommage qu'à ce niveau de prix en Indonésie il n'y aie pas de service du type petit déjeuner à la villa. Les équipes passent chaque jour à la villa mais ne profite pas de ce passage pour vider les poubelles surtout dans les WC alors que le papier doit être jeté dans les poubelles et non dans les toilettes. On a aucune idée si les serviettes sont changés ou pas, pour notre cas en 3 jours ce n'a pas été fait. Il faut selon moi augmenter le niveau de service pour justifier ce tarif en Indonésie même si la villa est parfaite. (Je compare avec plusieurs villas louées durant notre voyage en Indonésie)

Helaas konden we geen gebruikmaken van het zwembad tijdens ons verblijf.

De villa was echt van alle gemakken voorzien. Van koffie tot frisdrank. De smaakvolle inrichting, het fijne zwembad.

Had a wonderful stay. Villa Luna is such a beautiful calm oasis. The pool was fantastic, the open plan living amazing. Location was great. Staff were super helpful and attentive. Overall, would 100% recommend and would come back.

The staircase to second level is quite steep and has no railing. Something for parents with little kids to be mindful of.

Beautiful place to stay, highly recommend. Only thing that could be an issue for some, is the inside stairs are quite steep in order to gain access to the second bedroom.

Amazing villa right in the middle of the island which makes it very convenient to go all directions. The villa is very well thought and designed making it functional but also private when needed. There is an attention to details that is rarely seen, everything is made available for you to enjoy your stay (lights for the night, mosquito spray, umbrellas, speaker,...) The place is very quiet, far from the beach noise. The staff communication and support is top notch as well. There is a great coffee place just next door, perfect for breakfast! Congrats to the owner and all the team to make this stay a special experience!

Villa Luna is a stunning villa in a strategic location right in the heart of Gili Air — peaceful yet close to all the main spots on the island. Every detail of the villa reflects great care, love, and attention. The design is beautiful, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the spaces are simply wonderful. What made our stay even more special was the exceptional hospitality. The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Truly a perfect place for a stay in Gili Air — highly recommended!

The villa is perfectly situated in a serene and picturesque location, offering breathtaking views and easy access to nearby attractions. The villa is beautifully designed with a perfect blend of modern elegance and traditional charm. Spacious, immaculately clean, and equipped with high-end amenities, it ensures a luxurious and comfortable stay. Each room is well-appointed, featuring plush bedding and stylish decor.

A spacious, very clean villa that meets all expectations. It’s the perfect spot for those who enjoy peace and quiet. You can truly relax there 🖤 I was captivated by the pool and the beautiful garden with palm trees. I highly recommend it – an ideal place for singles, couples, and families. The staff is incredibly friendly and easy to communicate with via WhatsApp. Before my arrival, they provided all the necessary information, which made my stay on Gili Air island much easier and more enjoyable.

The location is also very nice, right in the centre of the island. It’s calm and you can reach everything within a 15 minutes walk. It was all perfect and we will definitely come back again, when we’re on Gili Air!

Villa Luna is simply amazing! Located in the centre of Gili Air, easy to access on foot or by bicycle from every part of the island, close to the beautiful beaches on the west. It’s beautifully designed, comfortable and very well equipped (the kitchen has everything you may need during your stay). Tye staff is great, very helpful and easy to contact at any time of the day or night.

Property is located close to Gilli coffee roasters. Perfect place to start your day. Villa was a short walk to every place on the island. Beach’s, restaurants and shopping.

Dust and the mosque started at 4.30am. Melodious voice, just a little early.

Such an amazing villa with a beautiful pool and outside space. 2 beautiful bedrooms and spacious bathrooms - one inside and one outside. (Towels and linen smelt amazing!) Fabulous kitchen and comfortable inside lounge area. We couldn’t believe how well equipped the villa was! Staff were very friendly and helpful and very quick to reply to our messages. Great help with organising a transport to and from the villa. We wish we could have stayed longer than 2 nights but unfortunately it was already booked by others. …if you’re coming to Gili Air you should already be aware and prepared for the dusty paths here - the villa is off a little dusty road so make sure you’re wearing sandals/flip flops and you can easily wash when you arrive - there is a nice feet cleaning tap when you come in the gate :) Also, wonderful place 1 minute round the corner to have great coffee and breakfast called Gili coffee roasters!

Villa Luna team were exceptional, immensely helpful from beginning to end of the stay. Helped us with one off requests at short notice. I loved the beautiful decor of this villa, the facilities and the thoughtful touches to make the stay comfortable and luxurious. Washing machine was a life saver!

Walking towards the villa, your feet will be dirty from walking on unpaved paths but at the entrance of the villa there is a shower facilities to wash your feet before you enter the villa houses.

Villa Luna was a little slice of heaven on Gili Air and the favourite place we stayed on our trip to Bali/Lombok. Beautifully appointed and really stylish. Our kids loved the pool. The staff were easily contactable via WhatsApp for anything we needed, the sorted some rental bikes for us very easily.

The layout of the villa might not be suited to families with small kids as the main bedroom is in a separate building to the upstairs bedroom, separated by a small walkway. It would have been great to have some option to have breakfast provided at the villa but luckily Gili Coffee Roasters was right around the corner so we went there each morning.

Beautiful villa and very large. Staff organised e-scooters for us that were delivered to the villa. This made it very easy to get around the island. Coffee Roasters on the corner was the best place for breakfast too.

Building work next door was noisy. Bring ear plugs if you don’t want to be woken up at 5am by the mosque. Not the fault of Villa Luna though.

The accommodation was perfect, the location was great, the beach, cafes and restaurants nearby, the villa was perfectly clean, the host was very kind, I cannot recommend more for your accommodation on Gili Air island, simply perfect

This house is BEAUTIFUL and was a highlight of our whole holiday in Bali. The attention to detail and the design is so incredible and unique. Particularly loved the social circular pool and our outdoor shower. The hosts were communicative and helpful. The location was perfect - right in the middle of the island so takes 15 mins to walk anywhere and it’s in a beautiful quiet spot surrounded by palm trees.

We can recommend this beautiful villa without a doubt. It has been an amazing and relaxing experience to be surrounded by palms. The villa is hidden and located in a quiet area, but still very close to cafes and shops - whether you want to walk or by bike. We loved the exterior and interior design of the house, since it is flooded with natural sunlight which creates a great and airy atmosphere. Communication with the team was excellent and very easy. Overall a great experience!

Villa Luna is a hidden gem in Gili Air! It's peaceful, beautifully designed, and Lucy, the host, goes above and beyond to ensure a great stay. The villa is tucked away from the main roads, offering a quiet and relaxing escape. The interior is modern and comfortable, and the thoughtful touches like snacks and amenities make it feel like home. Highly recommended!

Location was excellent. In the middle of everything and beautiful coconut pal trees all around! Everything was beautiful and well though ot! The Kitchen had everything we needed! Can't wait to come back and stay there! Lucy the owner was so helpful and so professional! All our interfaces were great!

The pool was great and the bedroom and closet were a great space. The outdoor bathroom was also an extremely beautiful space.

We would have liked to see bikes included with this villa, based upon the location in the middle of the island and price you pay for staying there. Maybe this is something they will include for future guests!

Amazing place 🌿 Stylish ,modern ,but totaly nature design . First place ,when i have dream live here and cooking! All about comfort ,dont want going out this villa ,just chill and relax. The perfect villa, with amazing kitchen, pool , quite territory and amazing smell of the towel . It is not our first time in Gili , and it is best Gili location for sure . The owner and team always in touch and ready to help with lots of questions . Thank you for your wonderful place, we enjoy it so much !

Beautiful villa, clean and modern! We loved everything especially the pool area! Our bed was comfortable the staff were great, we felt like the villa was home from home

There’s no aircon in the main villa (bedroom is separate) the fan just isn’t enough in the evening as the patio doors are closed due to preventing mosquitoes! The location is in the centre of the island therefore it’s extremely dusty to walk anywhere, our feet/clothes were filthy as soon as we left the villa. Not something that can be helped, it’s just part of Gili life, a good excuse to get a foot scrub at the local spa but worth mentioning… don’t pack anything white!

We loved the vibe and feel of the Villa, it felt very luxurious and comfortable. It was very private, we loved lounging by the pool in the afternoons to cool off. The hosts were very responsive and helpful throughout the stay. The Villa is a situated in a quieter place so it really felt peaceful and romantic. We can't wait to come back one day!

It is completely out of the hosts control, just that the path to get to the Villa is very dusty because of the dry season so our feet were often dirty. But when we rented bikes it was much easier and less messy! Plus you're living Island life, so being barefoot and a little dirty is part of the magic :)

This place is absolutely stunning! wow this is an luxurious villa on a tropical island! When you enter the villa ur amazed with the view and the spacious rooms! The kitchen with the bar is perfect for some cooled drinks!
