My Island Home Gili Air

We were warmly welcomed and very well taken care of during our stay at My Island Home Gili. The owner, Claudia, is incredibly kind and welcoming, and the place is clean, peaceful and very relaxing. The breakfast was amazing, and we particularly enjoyed the smoothie bowls and fresh fruit juices. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and always greeted us with a beautiful smile. The location is also great, just a short walk from the beach, with plenty of lovely restaurants and beach clubs, a local apparently very famous warung zZz and shops nearby, including rental of scooters. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend My Island Home Gili!!

Magnifique bungalow avec piscine privée. Très bon petit déjeuner. Emplacement très calme tout en étant près de la plage. Bonbonne d'eau fraîche dans le logement. Piscine propre. Très agréable pour se reposer.

La struttura è davvero bella e accogliente,c’è tutto quello che ti serve ed è caratteristica. Immersa nel verde dell’isola. Il punto forte di questa villa è senza dubbio il servizio e l’accoglienza che offre. Sono stata accolta dallo staff e da Carla,la proprietaria,entrambi di una gentilezza unica e super disponibili per ogni nostra esigenza,a partire dall’organizzazione di tour o gite in barca fino all’organizzazione semplice di un traghetto di ritorno. Carla è stata davvero attenta a qualsiasi cosa e ha reso il nostro soggiorno impeccabile. Felicissima di aver scelto questo posto,lo consiglierò a tutti senza dubbio . Grazie Carla e grazie ai ragazzi dello staff.

Nos ha encantado todo. La villa espectacular, habitación y baño enormes, el personal super amable, el desayuno riquísimo y el plus de piscina privada fue lo más.

Originalité des bungalows. Très confortables. Petite structure où on se sent bien . Proche des plages et des bons restaurants. Je recommande d’ailleurs l’établissement Sand pour manger…

De ligging vlakbij het strand en restaurants. Wij hadden de villa met het zwembad. Dat was echt heerlijk. De villa was ook top! De sfeer op het kleinschalige resort was heel relaxed en ongedwongen.

Ottima posizione, tranquilla e facile da raggiungere. Pulitissima e poche camere, quindi silenziosa. La piscina è un plus ed è tenuta molto bene. Anche la colazione, semplice ma soddisfacente.

Ens ha agradat molt la casa, amb tots els detalls, el lavabo i la dutxa, el llit i la piscina. El tracte de l’staff i de l’amfitriona de l’hotel. Gràcies per aquesta estada inoblidable!

My island home is a small quaint hotel with lovely helpful staff, wonderful breakfast in a great setting. The beach, bars and restaurants were close at hand and we were away from the busier south end of the island.

Personnel et patronne au top ! La villa avec sa piscine privée est idyllique, un vrai havre de paix. Le petit déjeuner servi sur la terrasse de la chambre est excellent. Nous avons réservé une excursion par le biais de l’hôtel et tout s’est très bien passé: nos guides snorkeling était vraiment très gentils, rien à redire. Tout est parfait.

Peu d’eau chaude et quelques gros cafard à l’extérieur ( mais c’est la nature !)

Posizione ottima per girare tutta l’isola a piedi. Staff super accogliente e disponibile. Tutte le mattine puoi scegliere la colazione tra le opzioni disponibili, colazione ottima direttamente fuori dalla tua stanza.

La ubicación es buena, el desayuno estaba bien aunque no ofrecía mucha variedad.

El wifi alguna vez se cortaba un poco en la habitación donde estábamos.

Clean, cozy wooden rooms. I loved eating the delicious breakfast on the veranda every morning. The smoothie bowl is truly delicious! Nice location on this lovely island. Perfect for exploring the island. In the afternoon, I relaxed by the lovely pool. Such peace and quiet! The staff is very friendly. Highly recommended.

Chambres spacieuses et propres. Grande salle de bain. Une superbe piscine pour 4 villas. Seules la villa pour notre fils et la nôtre étaient louées , nous avions donc la piscine rien que pour nous! Très bon petit déjeuner. Proche des plages, des restaurants et des boutiques. Personnels très sympathique.

Tout était super 👍 petit bémol : L’éclairage de la piscine était en panne

La suite avec piscine privée est formidable. Le personnel ainsi que the big boss sont arrangeants et très serviables. Possibilité de faire une excustion snorkeling et de louer des vélos directement auprès de l'établissement.

The room was big enough and the aircon was magical, except warm bathroom. Not a big choice of breakfast but it was delicious and quickly made and brought to the room terrace. Staff was also friendly and helped us to get bikes on the island.

We loved our bungalow, it looked great and had all the facilities and amenities you might need. The whole property has been really nice with a beautiful garden and pool. Breakfast options were great, food has been delicious. You can get all kinds of fruit cold juices during the day from reception.

Ho adorato la colazione, così in stile balinese con la bowl di frutta di stagione buonissima, in cui primeggiava lo smoothie al dragon fruit, una vera goduria. Viene servita ogni mattina in camera. Personale molto disponibile nelle informazioni relative all'isola, c'e anche una mappa plasticata in stanza. La spiaggia di nord-ovest è a cinque minuti e attrezzatissima.

Tout est exceptionnel ici, la chambre, la piscine, le personnel. Petit-déjeuner servi en terrasse. Notre meilleur logement sur nos 2 semaines de voyage.

Île musulmane, réveil très tôt par la prière au gigaphone. Présence d’une chambre familiale. Sommes malheureusement tombés sur une famille bruyante sans gêne.

Das Personal ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Vom Willkommensdrink über das Frühstück auf der Terrasse bis hin zum organisierten Schnorchelausflug. Die Villa mit Pool ist wirklich schön und privat. Das Zimmer ist sauber und man hat einen eigenen Wasserspender auf dem Zimmer. In unmittelbarer Nähe ist der Strand und einige Restaurants und Shops.

Das Bad wird sehr warm, hier muss man die Tür auflassen und die AC aktiv lassen.

Tout : de la piscine en passant par le logement, le petit déjeuner, la quiétude du lieu où la gentillesse du personnel, tout était réuni pour vivre un super moment sur cette belle île de Gili Air.

Un seul regret, ne pas être resté plus longtemps…

The rooms were very clean, the staff were so friendly and helpful in getting me to the location from the boat. They met me at the beach and walked me down. They also helped in booking a horse and cart to take me to the harbour when I was leaving. Nothing was too much for them! The breakfast was very nice and I loved that I could sit on the balcony and eat peacefully. I loved the little things like the map, filtered water readily available, a night light in case of power outages. And the host was very responsive and happy to help. Everything about my stay here was perfect! If I'm ever back in Gili Air I know exactly where to stay. Location was a short walk from places to eat and the beach, everything is within walking distance.

Super séjour passé dans la suite privée. La propriétaire des lieux est venue nous voir, elle s’est montrée très conciliante, agréable et vraiment adorable avec nous. Le petit-déjeuner était de qualité et servi rapidement. L’équipe est au top. Je recommande vivement cet établissement !

We hebben een heel prettig verblijf gehad. Het appartement was ruim (met twee slaapkamers), het bed was erg comfortabel en alles was goed doordacht ingericht. De locatie is ideaal, op slechts een paar minuten van het strand. Ook de snorkeltour die we via hen hebben geboekt was goed geregeld. Het personeel was geweldig: vriendelijk, betrokken en geïnteresseerd.

Een kleine suggestie: we vertrokken vroeg en kregen enkele bananen en flesjes water mee. Misschien kan dit nog iets uitgebreider worden gemaakt voor gasten met een vroege check-out.

Awesome location close to everything. Very clean and had everything I needed loved no television in the room. The owner was very helpful and all of the staff were wonderful. Wished I hadn’t pre arranged excursions before arriving. The owner I believe would be the better option to make arrangements for snorkeling and so forth. Breakfast smoothie bowl was very satisfying. I did early walks most days so only ate breakfast once. Easy to walk entire island and then some. Love the laid back feel of the island. And the mosques and roosters didn’t bother me I found the mosques to be quite soothing but they do provide earplugs as well.

Loved everything about this place! It was very clean, comfortable and dreamy! Great bathroom as well. The breakfast was delicious, the staff were very kind and helpful throughout our stay! :)

Our stay was amazing. The staff were so helpful and lovely. The room was quiet and felt like a little home away from home. The breakfast everyday was absolutely delicious too (the smoothie bowl was my favourite). The location is away from the busier side of the island, so it's nice and peaceful but there are still so many places to eat and drink nearby and the beach is only a few minutes walk away. We booked a private snorkelling tour here too which was great and such good value for money.

I absolutely loved this hotel! It overlooks the pool, the rooms are very unique, and I especially loved the bathroom – you can hear the rain and see the sun. The breakfast changed daily, and the service was excellent. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

De goede service van het personeel! Jullie waren super, dank jullie wel! Mooie ruime huisjes, schoon, heerlijk zwembad, heerlijk ontbijt, locatie was top! Dichtbij het strand, winkeltjes, warungs (eethuisjes) in de buurt! Fiets met kinderzitje werd meteen bij aankomst geregeld, laundryservice is aanwezig! Mijn dochter van 3 jr en ik zijn hier echt tot rust gekomen en hebben ons goed vermaakt!

Rooms and the pool was amazing. The staff are so friendly and funny. My children loved them. And the owner Carla was so supportive and chill. Made us e joy our time and experience on the Island.

Das Personal war total freundlich und ich wurde sehr herzlich von allen empfangen. Außerdem hat man viel Privatsphäre und das Frühstück kann man jeden Tag neu wählen. Für mich gab es sogar eine vegane Option, was ich toll fand! Und satt wird man davon auch auf jeden Fall! Die Lage in Strandnähe ist super, auch wenn ich persönlich eher an anderen Stränden schnorcheln oder baden gegangen bin als an dem, der gleich vor der Tür ist. Die Schnorchel-Hotspots wie der Turtle Point sind nur 15 Gehminuten entfernt. Auch am Stadtzentrum ist man in 15-20 Gehminuten. Für Menschen mit entsprechender Kondition und gesunden Beinen braucht es also keine Pferdekutsche oder Roller. Überall auf der Insel kann man Schnorcheltrips buchen und es gibt sogar mehrere Cooking-classes und Silver-classes. Mein Aufenthalt war entgegen meiner Erwartungen sehr ereignisreich, aber man kann auch einfach den ganzen Tag am Pool/Meer verbringen und ein gutes Buch lesen. Die Unterkunft ist für alle Bedürfnisse perfekt ausgelegt. Das Bett ist bequem und der Wohnraum sauber. Ich wurde sogar von einem Angestellten am Abreisetag zur Fähre gefahren, da ich durch ein Missverständnis zu spät dran war. Das hat mir sehr geholfen! Sehr empfehlen kann ich außerdem das Restaurant JuJu (vegan und Zero Waste)!

Im Bad gab es Spuren von Nagetieren. Diese wurden aber jeden Tag bereinigt. Für mich kein größeres Problem und auch sicherlich normal auf einer tropischen Insel, ich wollte es dennoch erwähnen.

Great private Place with own pool. We enjoyed the privacy and how beautifully it was set. Green with may plants. Breakfast could be chosen and was delivered to the house.

Unfortunately the coffee was „only Bali coffee“.

We stayed in the private villa and it was superb ! The boys managing the property are excellent and attentive. Breakfast is fabulous.

Nice room and terrace, comfortable bed, the pool area is also nice, they have special touches like providing insect repellent or a welcome drink, the towells smell really good, the staff is kind and Carla recommend the best tours for Gili and Lombok.

To say something: limited quantity of breakfast but it is good and limited pool view in our room.
