La tranquillité dans l'appartement.

Short drive to the beach and restaurants. Allocated Parking space. New build but poorly looked after by owners. Waheed the host was responsive and was at the flat in 10-15mins since he works that far away but didn't always solve my concerns and did the bare minimum. Nice to see deers and monkeys behind the apartment but not not so nice to find out these deers are hunted. I woke up the first morning to 2 gunshots. I also think that this area attracts rodents. There are rat traps around the building. Swimming pool clean but small and not private. Agreed to a later checkout at 2pm.

4 of us stayed here. We had to ask for the exact address. They never sent it to me. After they did, they sent a passive-aggressive message to me: "Did you really need the address of the apartment?" I shouldn't have to ask for it. You should just send it to me if you were a good host! First morning spotted RATS droppings under sink and in dining room next to mirror. Also in the bedrooms and corridor. Basically everywhere! Waheed came and said maybe a rat came inside from the back door. Unlikely! It's more likely it/they came in from behind/under the sink where there are lots of rats droppings! A common place for rats to come in. Asked if we have seen any rats? There are rats droppings everywhere. we don't need to see the rat. We can see that it has been here! He then poorly wiped the rats droppings under the sink with a sponge without gloves. He said maybe I can put some poison. Poison does not stop rats from coming. You need to block the hole from where they are coming from! Seemed like he couldn't really be bothered to sort the problem by finding and filling the hole. If that wasn't bad enough, waking up in the middle of the night to 4 big cockroaches scratching at the bedroom door. I had to kill more than 8 cockroaches! Absolutely disgusting. There is a hole outside next to the stack pipe huge enough to allow any kind of insects and rodents inside. Requested an ironing board and received this passive-aggressive message; "A gentle request of making no further request of what is not published on booking." In order words, dont ask us for anything that isn't on the advert! So we had to make do with a towel on the dining table. No shower mat - slippery floor tiles when wet causing a health and safety hazard. Charged for cleaners even though there were no cleaners throughout our 2 weeks stay!

This apartment is so good that we had to move back after one night elsewhere, I am not kidding! The apartment is very spacious, has powerful ACs (3!), modern appliances and is fully equipped (oil, spices, even biscuits and tea as a welcome gift). Waheed and his family are very welcoming and can help with any question. The pool is also cool if you want to get refreshed. Beach is only 5 min drive away. The local area is calm, relaxed and safe. And reservation with animals is just behind the building.
