The location was really the only good thing about this place.

The fact there are stairs to go to the bathroom was annoying. Breakfast was always cold. The room was damp and kind of humid. And it is also not okay to ask people to take off their shoes to enter the building when my partner has accessibility issues and needs to sit to put on his shoes. There was no chair in the foyer. Edit after the owner's response: We never blamed him for what happened. We stated what we felt before the car incident which we know was not their fault. But 15 minutes after posting this review I recceived a text message from the owner. Please see the screenshot attached. Beware.

Logement bien placé, encore plus si l'on souhaite participer au festival des fiertés début août. Loft joliment aménagé. Lit grand et confortable. Hôte discrète mais disponible et très gentille. Excellent petit déjeuner, salé ou sucré un jour sur deux.

Loft en sous sol qui sent l'humidité. Logement inadapté aux personnes handicapées (des marches d'escalier même pour aller dans la mini-salle d'eau. ), aux personnes de grande taille (salle d'eau et entrée basses), ou de forte corpulence (douche très étroite). Obligation d'enlever les chaussures à l'entrée de l'immeuble mais les communs ne sont pas très propres.

Thanks very much for Yen's warm help. The stay was very comfortable and nice. The room is very clean, spacious and cozy. I like the way they take care of breakfast, very considerable and meet all my special needs. Next time when I have chance to Montreal downtown, l think it's a very good choice to make.

If there will be some more sound proof will be nicer.

Die Lage war okay, die Vermieter waren nett und hilfsbereit.

Dass unser Zimmer im Keller war und sich leider immer klamm angefühlt hat - wir mussten rausgehen, um uns aufzuwärmen. Das Frühstück war um 8.30 fertig, und selbst dann eher lau als heiß - es gab keine Auswahl, sondern ein Frühstück (mal Omelette, mal French Toast).

Joel est très sympathique et accueillant, les chambres sont spacieuses et fraiches, le lit est très confortable et l'emplacement est idéal, proche des lignes de métro et des commodités. Le petit déjeuner, fait maison, varié est très appréciable. Un plus, sur le lieu, il y a une laverie à 100m., idéal pour laver son linge en voyage.

Petit déjeuner vraiment excellent (plats chauds, tantôt sucrés, tantôt salés, confectionnés par le personnel). L'heure de service de celui-ci a été avancée exprès pour moi (de 8h15 à 7h30, ce qui est, ceci dit, plutôt normal pour un service de B&B). Personnel très sympathique et attentionné, qui m'a permis de laisser mes bagages au B&B toute la journée avant mon retour à Paris et m'a très gentiment prêté un adaptateur de prise secteur.

Le service est vraiment celui d'un B&B, et non celui d'un hôtel, ce qui n'est pas une critique en soi mais quelque chose qu'il est important d'avoir en tête lors de la réservation. La salle de bains est partagée et il n'y a pas vraiment d'espace de restauration pour prendre le petit-déjeuner, hormis une toute petite cuisine (à vrai dire peu commode car très exigüe et avec de la place pour au maximum deux personnes) et une terrasse extérieure (non couverte) qui a son charme, mais présente forcément ses limites en dehors de la période estivale. La chambre au sous-sol (où je logeais) était assez humide, avec une toute petite fenêtre en hauteur donnant sur le trottoir. La disposition est ce qu'elle est, mais il serait peut-être judicieux d'installer un déshumidificateur pour régler le problème. Le niveau de propreté est correct. Pour un voyage professionnel, il manque un bureau pour travailler dans la chambre. Finalement, deux petits amis mille-pattes trouvés dans la salle de bains, probablement à cause des mêmes problèmes d'humidité. Ça arrive et ce n'est pas dramatique, mais ça rend forcément le séjour un peu moins agréable. Hormis ces points, RAS. Encore un grand merci aux hôtes pour leur accueil !

Great location, wonderful owners who cooked us breakfast each day! Super helpful advising us on the metro and all the good spots! Also great snacks available! Great outdoor space to smoke, have breakfast or drinks.

Bed was comfy but quite squeaky and there was a slat hanging out.

They helped us secure free street parking, excellent instructions by owners on the property. Breakfasts were great! Location is very walkable to downtown. Bed was comfortable and cool enough in the basement bedroom. We did not hear other guests other than in the morning at breakfast. Excellent value for price.

Some guests may not like that the two basement bedrooms share a bathroom but we had zero issues during our three days here.

The Hosts were very friendly and super helpful. The room was clean and the breakfast delicious. Very central location (we walked nearly everything) but still quite quiet. There is no parking with the B&B but they helped us to find street parking - what we really appreciated. We would definitely stay there again.

Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und herzlich, mir wurde alles ausführlich erklärt. Vor allem das Frühstück war toll. Jeden Tag ändert sich das Gericht und man hat zusätzlich Brot, verschiedene Aufstriche, Saft und Kaffee zur Auswahl. Auch das Badezimmer zum Teilen war sauber und man hatte Bademantel + viele Handtücher im Zimmer. Das Bett war sehr bequem und auch die Terrasse zum Frühstücken sehr einladend. Danke!

Der Weg zur Unterkunft aber der Metro Station Berry ist etwas sketchy mit Obdachlosen aber das war mir vorher bewusst, kein Fehler der Unterkunft

The breakfasts were amazing!! Freshly made, delicious and beautifully presented. Really comfortable bed in a quiet room. In the middle of a heat wave, felt great to come back to a cool and quiet room. The heat pump is so quiet, we could barely hear it. And the location was close to a metro junction (3 different lines) giving access to the whole city.

Charming stay and very kind hosts. Yoyo helped me find free parking around the corner and my car was fine there for my whole stay. I ended up scrapping all my breakfast plans since the breakfasts were so tasty and convenient. Everything was delightful and clean and the location was great for walking around to different restaurants. The noise travels but it's such a small property that there's only a few other guests at a time and never bothered me. Great value for the price and I'd happily come back.

We really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast section was petite but lovely and really cozy.

The floor was boisterous, and the bed (large and really cozy) had a hole, but that just made my wife and me cuddle more.

Les hôtes étaient vraiment aux petits soins avec nous! Ils ont notamment adapté le petit déjeuner à mes intolérances alimentaires. Petit déjeuner qui était excellent d’ailleurs! Les snacks et café/thé à disposition toute la journée sont également un vrai plus.

La rue Rachel à proximité où se trouvent beaucoup de restaurants peut laisser un sentiment d’insécurité le soir.

Posizione del B&B molto vicina alla fermata della metro Berri-UQAM e situato in una zona molto comoda per raggiungere a piedi molti punti di interesse. Le stanze sono curate, con mobilio antico, pareti colorate e bei quadri. Staff gentile e disponibile.

Die Gastgeber waren super herzlich. Es gab jeden Tag frisch zubereitetes Frühstück: toller Service und lecker!! Außerdem ist die Unterkunft nahe der Metro Station und deshalb super gelegen! Free coffee, free snacks! Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit shared bathroom, den wir allerdings nur mit einem weiteren Zimmer teilen mussten. Das war sehr angenehm. Die Zimmer sind sehr süß und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es gibt Handtücher for free!

Die Zimmer mit shared bathroom liegen im Keller, was wenig Tageslicht bedeutet. Das ist für uns nicht schlimm gewesen, da wir den ganzen Tag unterwegs waren und wirklich nur zum Schlafen vor Ort. Das Zimmer war recht hellhörig, da die Küche (von allen Gästen genutzt) direkt vor der Tür ist. Allerdings waren die Gäste sehr rücksichtsvoll

Przemiła obsługa, pomocna w każdej chwili. Dobre wifi, do centrum 15 min, a nawet mniej! Wszędzie blisko, a już w spokojniejszej dzielnicy miasta. POLECAM!!!!

Yo-yo est juste exceptionnel ! Quel super accueil ! Il a vraiment pris le temps de tout nous expliquer et nous a aidé à trouver une place gratuite, et a fait son possible pour s’adapter à nos besoins. Super petit déjeuné, même si nous n’avons pas pu profité de la loggia à cause de la pluie 🤪

Nice B&B close to everything - metro included - quiet. Nice host. Our room also had a little kitchen. There’s also a common kitchen with some snacks available and that’s also where the breakfast is served. there’s a patio where you can eat your breakfast in the morning, loved it.

Nothing, maybe some aspects of the room could be improved but it’s an old-ish house so it makes sense.

En-cas et boissons disponibles en plus. Quartier calme, logement proche de la station Berri Uquam (pratique en venant de l'aéroport).

The owner that was very kind and suggested us to use the subway and helped us to find free parking.

The continuous smell of garlic and food being cooked upstairs. The kitchen used for breakfast was super small and we were lucky it never rained because you have to have breakfast outside since there is no space inside.

The Host was always friendly and helpful. We loved the garden! You can eat your breakfast there and have a glass of wine in the evening. Breakfast was superb with fresh fruits and enough spreads to choose from. The place even offers some snacks for the little cravings in between meals. We had a lovely stay.

The floors and walls are a little thin so you’ll probably hear others moving around their rooms. It didn’t bother us but it might be good to know for some.
