Reviewed May 29, 2026Everything! A gorgeous, spacious home in a quiet street, within walking distance to fabulous eateries, the museums, Menin Gate and other iconic sights. This home is stylish and sophisticated; equipped with all quality household items, appliances, furniture and decor that help to make a home comfortable and efficient. We loved the outdoor sitting area and the breakfast bench along the window; it was relaxing and picturesque. It is a secure space and free parking is available at the end of the street. This home is truly a gem and so is Ypres! Thank you Sven and Katleen for your kind hospitality and for making our Ypres holiday very special.

Reviewed May 16, 2026Luxe van de gîte. Goed uitgeruste keuken/inventaris. Prima bedden. Ligging, alles op loopafstand van het centrum. Handdoeken, zeep etc. allemaal aanwezig. Plaats om onze fietsen te stallen.

Reviewed Oct 6, 2025Gite de Lombard 2 is a beautiful property positioned in a secluded location but only a 5 minute walk into the centre of Ieper. There is everything you need for a relaxing stay as Sven and Katleen seem to have thought of every little thing to ensure a comfortable stay.
No negatives, only positives!

Reviewed Jul 24, 2025Een prachtig huis, voorzien van alle gemakken. Goed uitgerust, smaakvol ingericht, fijne bedden, ook de slaapbank. Goede douche, ruim voldoende handdoeken. Plafondventilatoren waren prettig. En, de infrarood sauna was leuk om eens te proberen. De fietsen ook gebruikt, heel makkelijk. De ontvangst was prettig.
Niets. De prijs per nacht is wel stevig, maar daar krijg je ook iets voor!

Reviewed Jul 18, 2025Alles! Super gezellig huisje, mooie inrichting, proper/netjes, tof tuintje, .. en wat een prachtige slaapkamer met die houten balken en sauna! Bovendien praktisch ingericht en alles op wandelafstand van de historische binnenstad.
Alles was naar wens. Geen negatieve punten. Misschien wel een kleine tip: even vermelden waar de gft-bak zich bevindt onder de rubriek ‘afval’. De verhuurders waren ook heel schappelijk qua in-en uitchecken. Wij mochten al om 14u inchecken.

Reviewed Apr 18, 2025Everything about this property was absolutely fantastic. Stunning!! Such a beautiful place to stay. Spotlessly clean. Very well thought out to ensure you have the most comfortable stay!! The decor and facilities are amazing!!! A little sauna infrared spa in the bedroom was an excellent bonus!! A top notch coffee machine, was my partners favourite thing & he is very fussy about coffee!! The host Sven was so warm, helpful and welcoming!! He even gave us a special gift on departure!! Honestly I have travelled all around the world, staying in all kinds of fabulous places and this is by far my favourite place so far!! I will definitely revisit! So much more to see and do! I will always choose this gite and will fully recommend it to everyone. I just hope all the guests who stay here look after it and keep it to the standard it is offered!
Nothing!! Everything was perfect. I tried to extend out stay but it was already fully booked so I was only disappointed to not be able to stay longer!! Im glad they are busy they deserve all the success possible!!
