Reviewed Feb 22, 2026Lovely touches such as fresh homegrown fruit provided daily. A good breakfast of cereals, yogurt and stewed fruit, along with toast and jam was provided daily. The king sized bed was very comfortable and the linen good quality. We felt well looked after.

The hedge could be trimmed a bit lower to open up more of the beautiful view.

Reviewed Apr 30, 2025This is a beautiful property perched on top of a hill. Everything you need is in one huge - and I mean HUGE - studio room, by far the largest room we had on our 1-month trip to New Zealand. Kitchen, bathroom, dining table, two couches... even the washer is en-suite. We only stayed for one night but we would have been very comfortable here for an extended stay. Bicycle vineyard tours would be on my agenda! A good selection of continental breakfast items were provided, including some home-grown fruit. We enjoyed the fact that the house water comes from a rain water collection system, and it tasted great, but if you like to take 30 minute showers then this might not be the place for you - the owner respectfully asks guests to be thoughtful about water usage.

Reviewed Feb 23, 2025A very large combined bedroom and lounge/ dining area and kitchenette with separate bathroom. Older style furnishings but very warm welcome. Good breakfast and snacks provided and fresh fruit from the garden replenished daily. Everything you need for a few days stay, including washing machine. Huge garden full of all types of fruit trees.
The bushes obscuring the view and making the room dark.

View from balcony could be enhanced with trimming of trees. A lamp in lounge area would make it easier to read.

All the Breakfast essentials were given and a lovely basket of fruits was on the table when we arrived. We would defenitly come back.
