Very quiet location to disconnect. The basketball court was a hit with my son. Unfortunately we didn't use the pool (too cold for us as we visited in June) but looks amazing and very clean. Having breakfast inclusive these days is a bonus and it was 😋. The host, Shawn, is very sociable and gave us advice on places to visit.

The floors are terrazzo and cold to walk barefooted during colder months. Underfloor heating would have been perfect. Anyway, the place was toastie with the heat pump.

The whole place was perfect, the beds were super comfortable. The host was friendly and supplied a yummy breakfast in the morning. Would definitely return when visiting friends in Nelson again.

The kitchenette is well equipped but an oven/stovetop would be great for those who wish to cook their own meals.

The breakfasts were great, personally delivered by the hosts with good option choices and great coffee! We even ordered an evening meal from them which was lovely. The house is modern and well appointed, and the pool was great to drop into at the end of the day. Highly recommend.

Goeie locatie en ruime woning, zeker voor gezinnen, om Abel Tasman en omgeving te bezoeken. De hosts zijn zeer behulpzaam en hebben ons zelfs geholpen een wens te realiseren. Super rustige omgeving.

Het in onze prijs inbegrepen ontbijt was wel wat weinig. We hebben ons ontbijt met eigen aankopen uitgebreid ipv meer te vragen en daarvoor de voorgestelde extra supplementen te betalen.

Countryview Haven is a stunning property in Tasman. Upon arrival we were blow away with presentation and the owners. Very easy parking right outside the door. The accommodation was beautifully clean and well equipped with everything you need. The beds were very comfortable, the linen was lovely and our sleep was so peaceful. Our teens loved the fact the basketball court was right beside the pool, what a win!!!! Unfortunately it rained but we still used the BBQ, pool and court. Breakfast was delicious along with the coffee what a great way to start the New Year .This place is amazing along with its owners! Highly recommend booking here. We will be back. Thanks so much ♡

Amazing place with pool and basketball court. The provided breakfast from the host was amazing and such a bonus. Choices of granola and eggs - delicious. Super clean and comfortable. Lovely, quiet place up in the hills of Māpua/Tasman with its own little sheep.

We loved the location. Perched high on a hill with a view of the valley. The home was well laid out and felt quite new. Two large, quiet bedrooms with comfortable beds; large windows and high ceilings in the great room; and a fabulous home cooked breakfast (with specialty coffees made to order) delivered right to our table. Hosts were so warm and kind. We wished we could stay longer!

This studio was exactly as described and pictured. It was very clean, comfortable, spacious and quiet. The perfect place to relax after days of hiking. The location was perfect for us with easy access to Abel Tasman and beaches. We didn’t have time to use the pool but it looked very inviting! The hosts were fantastic. Communication was great and they made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was provided and it was delicious. I highly recommend Countryview Haven as a wonderful place to stay.

The location was so peaceful, the accommodation was top notch, the pool and basketball court were great, and the breakfast was fabulous! The whole family agreed that this was one of the best places we stayed. Anyone visiting Countryview Haven is in for a real treat. Thank you Ellejaye and Shawn!

Beautiful rural scenery, private and relaxing.

This thoughtfully has everything you could need. Having two seperate bedrooms was also great. Beautiful surroundings. The homemade breakfast was also a really lovely touch. Would definitely stay again!

I can't recommend this accommodation high enough. The views over the rolling country hills were expectional, the unit itself was modern and comfortable with high ceilings and windows - comfiest bed ever! The half basketball court and large swimming pool were fantastic additions, family and friends were asking where we were when sent photos. The hosts were amazing, anything you needed simply a text away. Highly recommend!!

Ellejaye and Shawn are just the best hosts ever! The property is without a doubt one of the most beautiful and functional places we have ever stayed! The breakfasts were outstanding and even though it rained while we were in Mapua the bball court and pool were still a major hit with the kids. Comfortable beds, fun games, great books and carefully thought out details all make the haven a real luxe place. Thank you so much Ellejaye and Shawn we will DEFINITELY be back!!

Words fail me. Really lovely accommodation in a beautiful place. The pool is gorgeous, the house is gorgeous, the bed was so comfy and it's very quiet at night time so you sleep well. Then you wake up in this heavenly place and before long Ellejaye turns up with very good coffee and eggs and bagels. The whole set up is really generous somehow. Ellejaye and Shawn have made a beautiful place to stay.

The property is situated in such beautiful surroundings. It had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The hosts were very friendly, welcoming and helpful!

We used this accomdation for my wedding. The girls used it as a spot for getting ready and my partner and i returned to this place on our wedding night. The location is stunning! I loved the basket ball hoop and the pool is lovely. The breakfast was delicous, with such amazing hosts.

We loved everything about the Studio! It was comfortable and clean and the views were superb. The breakfast was fabulous!

This place is exceptionally clean; well laid out, airy and spacious. LOVED having access to the very clean and perfect pool. Fantastic design-old with the new. Great outdoor area. Very comfortable bed and wonderful linens. Wonderful storage/cabinets in the bedroom. This is the cleanest place I have ever stayed in my life. Thank you Ellejaye for doing our laundry. Highly recommend! Great location.

This is such a stunning property and location. We used it as a base before doing the Abel Tasman but wish we had stayed longer!

Absolutely beautiful place. Nicely designed house at a convenient, yet private location. Really spacious and has most of what you need. Breakfast by Ellejaye and Shawn was a really nice touch and you can even order dinner from them for nights you don’t feel like cooking or heading out. On clear nights, the night sky was majestic. Ellejaye was very hospitable and made us feel at home. We truly loved being brought around to meet the animals even though there were only sheep and chickens at the time we were free. It wasn’t the animals but Ellejaye who made it a wonderful experience.

If anything, perhaps a larger sink or a heated pool would be nice but that’s just me trying to nitpick. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

After driving up the country lane we struck a beautiful modern stay. Overlooking a basketball half court and an incredible pool not to mention the outstanding country vista. Clean, spacious and cool. This place is fantastic. The breakfast was really good too.

I loved staying at this property. It was situated in a beautiful semi rural area, views of the sea and rolling hills. It had a sparkling swimming pool and an adjustable height basketball hoop. The house was new clean and warm. I’d strongly recommend countryview haven

Comfortably furnished with excellent ammenities. The decor is inviting and having both an adjustable basketball hoop + half court AND a swimming pool was such a treat.

Would have preferred more solid doors for the bathroom between bedrooms, to reduce nighttime disturbance.

Our stay was delightful. The unit is super spacious and very family friendly with books, toys and games for all ages available from the large bookshelf. Great breakfast options to choose from. Hosts were super friendly and informative about the area. Great little getaway that we would highly recommend. Our daughter especially loved visiting the animals and collecting eggs from the chook house.

Fantastic property with everything you need. We had a really cool chilled three nights. Some great restaurants located within just a few mins drive. Hosts are excellent. Don't hesitate, just book it.

Amazing views, great pool & basketball court! Perfect for family of 4. Idyllic spot for a great holiday - rooms and living area are really spacious and light. Ellejay & Shaun were excellent hosts and let us feed the sheep and goats as well as providing a lovely breakfast. Lots of things to do nearby with Abel Tasman half hour away and beaches 10mins away. You won’t regret staying here!

We loved everything about our stay. If you wish to escape everyday rush, this is the ultimate place. The hosts are very accommodating, the property is modern, clean, warm, quiet and offers everything you may need. Delicious breakfast served exactly as and when you like it, BBQ, basketball court and balls, swimming pool on site.

Perfect stay, wish we were there longer! Beautifully appointed, wonderfully comfortable and hosts could not have been more helpful when needed. We wanted somewhere to relax and close out the world for 24 hours and it was so perfect for that. Breakfast was delicious thanks so much Ellejaye !

Ellejaye was very kind and keen to make our stay optimal. Lovely breakfast was served at the time we agreed with perfect coffee. The view was great and everything very new and tidy. Changes to blankets etc was no problem (as I was warm and wanted it to be a bit lighter). Good location to enjoy the country side and Ellejaye was providing lots of tips.

Nothing really. We were the first ones to stay at this locations as it was a new location for Ellejaye and Shawn. We provided some early feadback of things that might improve (like putting something under the chairs to remove the noise when they are pulled over the floor) and when we came back later that day, it had already been done!
