Poca privacidad entre la cama y la ducha no había puerta. Mucho olor a humedad en la cama. Falta de comunicación del personal, tuvimos que abonar con el Uber en la puerta esperándonos. No había desayuno disponible por si queríamos abonar. El techo es de chapa por lo que se escuchan todos los pájaros caminando por la mañana.

Хорошее место в безопасном районе. Парковка на улице, но все очень безопасно. Tich отличный парень, много нам помогал, был очень приветлив. Завтраки превосходные- рыба, горячие круассаны. Недалеко от всех ключевых мест в городе.

Our room called “Luxury Twin” had the window point to a wall and the interior was rustic as in quite old, not great value for the money. Also no water at breakfast we had to pay for bottled water.

Es ist ein kleines Paradies inmitten der großen Stadt. Michael, der Gastgeber spricht perfekt deutsch und hat uns ganz herzlich und nett zu unseren Unternehmungen beraten.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral und ist ein sehr guter Standort für alle Aktivitäten. Es läuft alles sehr unkompliziert ab und man bekommt jegliche Unterstützung und Tipps für den Aufenthalt in Kapstadt. Eine früher Check-In oder Late Check-Out ist kein Problem. Michael hat und sehr wertvolle Tipps gegeben für unseren Aufenthalt in Kapstadt . Unter anderem hat er uns eine tolle und einsame Wanderung auf den Tafelberg empfohlen. Man ist in 5 min am Strand und verschiedene Restaurants sind zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Ich kann die Unterkunft nur empfehlen, insbesondere für einen ersten Aufenthalt in Kapstadt. Vielen Dank Michael und an dein Team .

Ontzettend goede bedden, centraal gelegen, uitstekend ontbijt met voortreffelijke koffie. Michael en staff zijn zeer vriendelijk en hebben diverse tips voor mooie excursies etc. Wij hebben genoten.

Quirky place but had everything on offer and great it was so eco friendly. Michael the proprietor very helpful and pleasant.

Felt outdated in parts but I could see that was to reuse and recycle rather than be modern for the sake of it .

De eigenaar, zeer behulpzaam in alles. Niets is hem teveel. Ontbijt was heerlijk, uitgebreide en vers. Slaapkamer badkamer waren netjes, niet overdreven groot maar voor ons meer dan voldoende. Inclusief vers fruit en drinkwater, top!

The owner Michael and staffs are incredible. A helpful owner and try to make us feel like home. Very communicative and even helping us with medicine when my partner is ill. A gem in the middle of city. Quiet place its important for us.

Staff were very welcoming the moment we arrived. Michael was accommodating and having to directly communicate with him helped. Property was exactly what we wanted and enjoyed our stay.

Super nettes und gut gelauntes Team – alle sehr hilfsbereit! Die Unterkunft wird vom Inhaber geführt, und Michael hat uns mit tollen Tipps versorgt und war immer ansprechbar. Wir haben uns total wohlgefühlt!

Dieses Guesthouse war in jeder Hinsicht einfach perfekt. Die Zimmer und das Badezimmer sind gross, sehr sauber und überaus komfortabel. Die Lage ist ideal: ruhig und dennoch sehr zentral – der Strand, Shops sowie zahlreiche Restaurants sind in 1-2 Minuten erreichbar. Zudem liegt das Guesthouse in einer sehr sicheren Gegend (Sea Point). Der Inhaber Michael und sein Team sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die Top-Empfehlungen für Ausflüge und Trips, die auf Wunsch auch professionell und hervorragend organisiert werden – besser geht es nicht! Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und frisch zubereitet. Ein echtes Highlight ist der hervorragende Kaffee – absoluter Genuss! Da mir der Aufenthalt so gut gefallen hat, habe ich gleich zweimal verlängert. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen und kann dieses Guesthouse zu 100 % weiterempfehlen.

It was a safe and secure warm and welcoming place to stay. Michael and his staff were very knowledgeable and helpful It was secluded yet close to the main thoroughfare of Sea Point and the promenade on the sea front was only a leisurely 10 minute walk away. Poolside rooms are great but other rooms don’t disappoint either.

Heerlijke B&B!! De tuin is geweldig, een kleine tropische verrassing met een heerlijk zwembad midden in een woonwijk. Op de bedjes kon je in de zon of in de schaduw liggen, heerlijk om te relaxen! Het personeel is erg lief en mee denkend! Het ontbijt was goed geregeld. De lodge ligt op een paar minuutjes lopen van de mainstreet en de promenade bij het water, een centrale plek!

We werden heel fijn ontvangen. De kamers waren ruim en de binnentuin met zwembad was erg mooi! Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en de koffie was great!

Very comfortable homely feel. Michael and his staff were both welcoming and very attentative through out our stay. The breakfast was of a good standard with a good choice of options. We would have no hesitation in returning or recommending anyone to stay. The location was good, 5 minutes from the sea front an cheap to travel around by uber. My wife left her phone on the pool side when we left for the airport and Michael did every thing to try and return it to us at the airport, but due to time restraints arranged to return to the UK by DHL.

Michael and his staff provide exceptional service, value and location. Excellent breakfast in a lovely courtyard. Michael took us on a fabulous one- day tour of the Cape Peninsula. Highly recommend.

Personal welcome and introduction to the excellent facilities

Travel to the ends of the earth and feel at home. Excellent location, which is very important in Cape Town, comfortable and clean. A cozy courtyard with a relaxing pool and stunning views of Lion's Head Mountain completes the overall experience, creating a tranquil setting for relaxation. I spent 10 days at the hotel. The staff was wonderful, special thanks to Teacher. Delicious breakfasts and coffee. Thanks to the owner, Michael, who contacted me before my arrival and helped me make the most of my free time. I would love to visit Cape Town again and I know exactly where I'll be staying.

Felt like home away from home. Attentive but not overbearing staff. Safe neighbourhood, easy to walk around.

There's literally nothing like Rosedene Lodge. Even before I stepped foot in Cape Town, Michael was in constant communication with me, sharing tips and making sure I've got nothing to worry about when I arrive. I had an early check in organised and got a very clean, ready-to-go room. The hotel is not brand new and shiny but it has a very charming character, beautiful rooms and a garden. And the location is super central, yet safe. The staff is fantastic and very helpful. Fresh bread for breakfast and their wine selection are additional pluses! I'd definitely stay there again!

There was nothing I didn't like. But just a note for future guests - the electricity sockets in my room were all European-style (I only had UK and SA adapters with me) and there's no 24h desk service. Though none of it affected my experience overall

Very pleasent stay. I would probably welcome in room kettle, but then, staff were very helpful. Very quite area, I had perfect sleep over my stay.

We had a fantastic stay in the double/twin room with a pool view. It was such a treat to have a patio overlooking the pool - perfect for relaxing. The beds were very comfortable, the room was spotless, the WiFi good, and the entire property felt warm and homely. The staff were exceptional - so welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Michael, the owner, was easy to talk to and happy to give recommendations, he was a lovely host. The location was excellent, and we always felt safe and secure within the property. We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely stay again. Highly recommend!

Fantastic location and perfect for spending time around Seapoint which has lots of amazing restaurants and cafes. The pool area was gorgeous and it felt very relaxing.

Our room (Garden Room) was spacious but got extremely hot even with the A/C and fan on.

Rosedene Lodge was fantastic! I came for a relaxing four days and enjoyed the room, bed, shower, and breakfast. The property is comfortable and inviting. I really appreciated how how helpful the staff were. They were were incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating. The property was close walking distance from the main street, water, and restaurants. I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone.

I liked the location

The room's walls were very thin, waking us up at 7 AM as the staff prepared breakfast. We shared our concerns, but as hard as the staff tried to prepare quietly, we could hear everything, offering little privacy. Due to the hotel being full, they couldn’t reallocate us. The rate we paid didn’t match our expectations, leading us to leave early for a larger, lower-cost place. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you're lucky with room allocation.

We got upgraded in the garden suite with a whirlpool. The breakfast is very nice, includes everything you need. Michael is such a good manager, he literally explained the whole area of cape town to us. A very cute places, very familiar and cozy. A true gem!

Great place to stay in the center of sea point when you are looking for a quiet place. Very cozy house that comes with a little pool to relax surrounded by a garden. The manger is super helpful and gave us a warm welcome when we arrived.

Property was clean and secure, the staff extremely friendly, would have liked a sealed bottle of mineral water.

Parking is awkward, found that the foam mattress was not the most comfortable bed to sleep on.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was particularly good. The room and bathroom were in very good condition, very clean and comfortable. I had a TV there with Netflix access and you could use the WiFi everywhere (and it worked everywhere!). I also had my own little terrace. Breakfast starts at 8 a.m. One day I had to leave at 7:30 a.m. for a tour and the staff had prepared a small breakfast box for me. I found that excellent. I am very happy that I spent my remaining days in Cape Town in this accommodation and can only warmly recommend it.

Michael is a very nice host. He gave us tips every day what to do and to see. The room was good and spacious. We would definitely recommend. Neighborhood is also great. Parking in front of the residence. Thank you for your hospitality these days!

Great location, close to Waterfront and beach with loads of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. The rooms felt private and secluded from neighbouring houses. Owner and all staff friendly and helpful. Highly recommend

Friendly management and the wifi were good and location ideal to get into town.

The carpets made it smell a little musty and the bed linen could be better. Also there is a shortage of parking outside.
