The property was is a great location and the room was comfortable. The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Beautiful stay in Hokitika - stunningly decorated with a beautiful garden where we enjoyed our excellent complimentary breakfast.

All the special touches like snacks in the cabinet, everything provided to make a comfortable stay.

Everything was pleasantly wonderful. There was a lot of careful thought put into all of the details and we were very happy with our stay even though it was only one night. The owner is an admirable and lovely person. We will definitely return here in the future.

Nice quiet location, easy access to the main centre. Very comfortable bed , which is very important to us when we are travelling. Friendly owner who let us know about the area. Cottagey feel to the room loved the bright colours, everywhere we go always seems to be GREY, but not here.

The low pressure hot water system was slow.

Easy to find the property. Good location away from the central area but still very close to town. Glenys is an excellent host, friendly and very accommodating. The room is very comfortable and has all the amenities. Breakfast was available in the room. We enjoyed our time there

Es war alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Für das Frühstück auf dem Zimmer war stets bestens gesorgt, Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher sowie Besteck und Geschirr gehörten mit zur Ausstattung. Das Bett war sehr gemütlich. Die Gastgeberin war sehr herzlich und man konnte sich immer an sie wenden, sie hatte auch sehr gute Tipps für Unternehmungen. Außerdem versorgte sie und mit frisch gebackenem Kuchen. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmes B&B.

Wir waren für drei Nächte dort (was wohl recht ungewöhnlich ist), und für so einen "längeren" Aufenthalt war das Zimmer dann doch ein bisschen zu klein. Auch eine echte Möglichkeit, das Geschirr abzuwaschen, fehlte. Die meisten Gäste bleiben offenbar nur für eine Nacht und lassen das Geschirr einfach stehen.

The property was good location and very comfortable and Glenys was a great host.

Upon arrival we were impressed by the charm and cleanliness of the studio. Our host was warm, welcoming and insightful into must do activities and the best walks and food in the area. We had a comfortable stay and a delicious range of options for breakfast the next morning. Overall a great stay in a wonderful room.

One of the chains securing the sign to the property lines was lose which could be a bit noisy but this is likely due to the storm that occurred shortly before our stay so couldn't be helped.

Front bedroom allows for complete privacy and own outdoor space. Extremely comfy bed! I liked the decor that matched the host’s vibrant personality. Glennys was extremely helpful with local information. A well supplied venue for guests.

It’s a little bit far from the centre, but it’s just a minor inconvenience.

Well located and quiet with a welcoming host. The fridge was stocked with all the necessary for breakfast, and the cupboard had tea, coffee and cake.

The bed was rather high so getting up onto it took more effort than desirable, but it was comfortable when in bed.

The location was great and Glenys was very friendly. The bed was very comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. There were a few breakfast items in the fridge for us - apples, fruit cups and Muesli, as well as orange juice. It was a very safe and relaxed location. Glenys was great to provide for everything we needed for our short stay.

Lovely room well decorated with interesting objects. There was also a garden for our use. Glenys was very welcoming and gave us lots of useful information which added to our stay.

Dueña muy agradable, cama cómoda y buena ubicación para ver las luciérnagas, quedan muy cerca. Se puede llegar al centro dando un paseo. Te dejan un desayuno frío en la habitación para el día siguiente. Se aparca en la puerta.

Se agradecería algún tipo de calefacción en la habitación, una tostadora y poder cerrar la habitación . Imposible cerrar con llave aunque es una zona residencial muy tranquila y no nos supuso mucho problema.

Host was friendly and responsive despite being on holiday herself, and the bed was really warm and comfortable! There was a great selection of breakfast too.

The bed was absolutely comfortable after our long day of travels. Our host was very friendly. Had some very good ideas of visiting the Gorge nearby.

Niice room in the front of the owner's property. Really nice host who gave us great recommendations for what to do in Hokitika. There were some nice touches with biscuits, fruit and hot cross buns. Also a DVD player and good selection of DVDs to watch.

We have been traveling in New Zealand for 5 1/2 weeks and have had great accommodations. This B&B gets our award for most comfortable bed yet. Very nice and helpful host. Private room and entrance. Big well set up private bath. Located in very quiet neighborhood a few blocks from the beach. Would recommend.

Clean, comfortable and handy to town. Glenys was a great host, very knowledgeable and when we left a favourite coat behind was kind enough to post to Sydney.

We run into the host and she was lovely. The information provided was great. The breakfast provided is great, however we are vegans so only had the fruit. The location is very good too. The room was very cold (the coldest we have had during our 3 weeks travelling), could have been a bit cleaner too and maybe have less decoration and stuff so you have more space to put your things but it was still okay for one night (not the cold though) we felt more like if we were visiting a relative at their place than a b&b. Also you could hear the hoist through the wall and door that separate the room from the house which isn’t ideal either. But overall was okay.

It was a cute little B&B with a small garden in a quiet part of Hokitika. Beach, town center and glow worm dell could be reached on foot. Price/performance ratio was perfect for a short stay. The owner was very nice.

One should not expect a big breakfast, but a tiny refrigerator with some sweet stuff in it. This was fine with us.

Glynis was lovely and went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed. The room was lovely and the breakfast was great.

Nothing to complain about but a few things would have made it a little better - A little inconvenient having no small fridge in the room to keep drinks cold, There was no dish brush which would have been handy for dishes, and the milk Had we both had a hot drink both days we would've required more milk. But none of these things hindered our stay

First, our host/owner was so delightful! Although we arrived rather late, she gave us prior instructions to make it easy on us. She was so helpful in the morning, and we got to enjoy seeing her chickens in the backyard. Her breakfast offerings in the room were very creative, being housed in an adorable cabinet, with a cute little pink fridge! She directed us to a great breakfast spot, as well. Wish we could have stayed longer in Hokitika, which is a funky/fun beach town.

Wish the room were just a little bigger to accommodate our suitcases.

The checkin was quick and easy. Everything needed was on hand and the bed was extremely comfortable The host Glenys was full of knowledge as to local attractions, sightseeing and eateries locally. The takeaway breakfast was tasty and suffice. When travelling back to Hokitika we will be staying at B&B on Bealey.

Lovely host, who provides you with all the necessary information and tips of what to do in Hokitika. Felt welcomed from the beginning. The accommodation was perfect to stay, in a quite and safe area and in close proximity to the city centre. Breakfast was fabulous. Would highly recommend to stay here if you‘re in the city.

Glenys is the perfect host; warm, welcoming and informative. Lovely room with very comfy bed, lovely bed linen, private entrance and private garden to enjoy. A 15 minute stroll from all the restaurants in town and 10 minute stroll from the Glowworm Dell, which was magical and well worth a visit. Highly recommend.

The room and outdoor garden were absolutely adorable. Our host had provided thoughtful amenities and breakfast was excellent. We wished we had been able to stay longer.

Our only regret was that our stay was too short.

The room and its inclusions are designed very well. The room was well supplied with everything that a traveller requires- coffee, tea selection, milk, fruit, etc. There is also a private garden setting attached to the room. Very comfortable, and Glenys was most accommodating.

Everything. This B&B is a little gem. Beautiful private , scented garden area to enjoy right outside your room. Room compact but had everything we needed. The attention to detail by the owner was lovely. Glynis was a fabulous host & very, very helpful & informative about where to go in the area, & she made us feel very welcome. Loved staying here. Would absolutely recommend this little gem.

Maybe having a fan in the room would be helpful when it got warm at night.

The breakfast was okay, but a bit funny: Everything was set up in a cupboard in the evening and I missed a fresh coffee in the morning.

Glynis is a lovely host who gave us information of places to visit and recommendations to for food. Lovely comfortable room and fantastic value.

Glenys greeted us with a warm welcome. The small and perfectly accommodating bedroom with ensuite had everything we needed. The muffins for breakfast were wonderful. We appreciated her going above and beyond with ice for our drinks as it was quite a warm day. We look forward to staying again on our next adventure to New Zealand.

Very conveniently located, close to everything in this lovely town. Our host Glenys provides a good-sized bedroom with ensuite bathroom, separate entrance and a private garden. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is fine. Glenys went out of her way to anticipate our needs after we got off the West Coast Wilderness Cycling Trail and sent us off with fresh baked muffins when we departed. She is a longtime resident of Hokitika and had great travel advice for us.

The room is a bit over furnished — there is not a lot of space for two to move around — so we were happy to have sunshine and the beautifully manicured front garden to take our breakfast outside. (We worried about losing our own things among the throw blankets and cushions, though in winter these might be welcome.) Also — real coffee, please!!! For those who can’t bear instant.

This fully furnished apartment is close to downtown Hokitika and the Glow Worm Dell. Glenys was very friendly and gave us good advice on activities to do in the area. Breakfast was excellent!

So clean and tidy! The bed was perfectly comfortable and the lovely lady who owns the property was so kind and considerate. Would love to stay again next time we are in Hokitia! Would recommend! 10/10

Lovely host who cares about you and your experience in Hokitika a lot. felt like I was staying at my grandma's house. comfy bed, smart TV with Netflix, your own little terrace and garden. Very close to the beach for sunset and glow warm cave. Highly recommended!

Glenys is a very kind and helpful hostess. The room is very comfortable. It was obvious that a lot of thought went into it. The location is a couple of blocks from downtown Hokitika which is a great town.

I wish I had reserved more time to stay there.
