Joe's Cafe & Garden Resort

I loved that it was located right on the beach but there were no people at the front desk at all to find someone to ask for help. The was just springs. But there's nothing around the ATM is within a minute of walking. Very hard to communicate in English with the staff.

We really loved our stay here but it is shabby chic at best, we got a beachside bungalow which was clean and comfy, just a bit faded. The live music every night and the bar were excellent.

Our room was dry but the roof is in serious need of repair and that goes for the whole building. It’s a shame because we really like the place but it need some serious TLC. As long as you are not fussy you will be fine.

We stayed in a small thatched 'bungalow' behind the bar/restaurant. There are about 6 bungalows there. It was surprisingly comfortable, very clean, nice shower, reasonable bed, plenty of light and more sockets than you can shake a stick at - a very nice change from the 'normal room' one rents. There was a small pool with 2 distinct ends, one shallow for kids and the other a nice splash pool. It was too small for swimming but nice to cool off. Plenty of pool chairs available. There was access to the beach but only accessible at low tide. Nearby resorts and properties had easier access to sandy beaches. There were plenty of restaurants within an easy walk if you wanted alternate food, also general stores. There is live music most nights with various artists.

It was off-season so the restaurant had a limited menu on offer. I don't think there was any breakfast available at Joe's but other restaurants were close by. I can't say we disliked anything. We have been there a few times but only actually stayed at Joe's this time. We knew what to expect. There are limited facilities for kids, apart from the pool but plenty of tours available very close by.

Really chilled out place. Great location, nice views and fun atmosphere.

Kleine zwembad met stukken brood op de bodem. Strand is grotendeels verdwenen, terwijl het strand 25 jaar geleden vrij breed was.

The bar, the set up with different bungalows and the relaxed athmosphere and music. All in all a fantastic stay.

Sorry not a lot. The room was clean but that was about it. The music (band only) was very good on the Friday night.

Not sure how to answer this as the resort was old and very run down, needs a lot of maintenance. The room was clean enough but the pool was really dirty, steps were slimy and you couldn't even see the bottom of the pool as water was extremely unclean and don't think it had been vacuumed or chlorinated at all. There was no breakfast offered and for Vietnamese standards the room and alcohol were expensive.

Trouver une coquerelle dans notre chambre. Bungalow petit avec odeur d’humidité. Aucune visite du personnel pour l’entretien de la chambre. Belle piscine mais aucun entretien. La supposée plage est faite de bloc de ciment.

Suoer nettes Personal. Wir hatten ein kostenloses Upgrade unserer Unterkunft bekommen und es war einfach traumhaft. Zentral gelegen. Die Livemusik war megaschön. Rundum ein toller Aufenthalt dort.

Het vriendelijke personeel, de gezelligheid van het ganse complex en de leuke sfeer, vlakbij de zee was fantastisch. Ganse dag door, goede muziek op de achtergrond en 's avonds telkens livemuziek.

Het was er 's nachts pikdonker bij het buitenkomen van de kamer, we vonden geen licht. Hadden een jeepexcurtie geboekt, waarbij we om 4u30 moesten klaarstaan buiten. Mijn man is van de trap gevallen daardoor... toen we dit 's middags meldden, zorgde men er onmiddellijk voor, dat er 3 lichten op de gang werden geplaatst en kregen we zelfs 1 nacht gratis, wat een heel leuke compensatie was!

Das Flair der Kombination aus Live Bar mit dahinter liegenden Bungalows war sehr ansprechend und aufgrund der überaus freundlichen Mitarbeiter und Inhaber fühlte man sich an der ersten Minute „wie Zuhause“. Das Frühstück und alle anderen Mahlzeiten konnte man bequem im Lokal, am kleinen Pool oder auf der Bungalow Terrasse genießen. Wir hatten eine sehr schönen Bungalow am Pool mit Blick aufs Meer (Bungalow A3), einfach herrlich.

Um es mal ironisch zu sagen: die Einrichtung ist in etwa im Alter der Rock-Oldies, die dort live gespielt werden. Aber hat fast wieder Charme. Die Außenanlagen könnten etwas gepflegter sein, Pflanzen z.B. müssen in diesem Klima nicht vertrocknen.

Room is okay. big and comfortable. Although the beach is not that okay. we didn't swim. beaches in Mui Ne is not good compared to Nha Trang and Da Nang. The good thing is the hotel has swimming pool but it could be better if they regularly clean the pool.

Жили в собственном домике с террасой, где был стол, диванчик и стулья и вид на море. Дочка в бассейне плавала много, хотя он маленький совсем, но в целом чистый. Рядом есть кафе и магазины, да и в самом отеле свое кафе с баром. Каждый вечер живая музыка. Наш домик был у моря, подальше от бара, поэтому шума музыки особо не было слышно. Из отеля выходишь сразу на дорогу, где ездят все такси/автобусы. Ещё на территории отеля живёт несколько кошек, дочка была рада с ними поиграть

Хоть отеля и стоит прямо на берегу, волны далетают даже, но пляжа нет. Когда волны поспокойнее, можно аккуратно спуститься и пройти вдоль моря до мест, где есть песок. Несколько раз утром нам удавалось от нашего отеля пройти на пляжи соседние. В номере еду лучше не оставлять, могут приползти тараканы с улицы, т.к. домик считайте на природе, среди пальм.

Vi havde en hvepserede i ydrevæggen ved vores værelset, så der var kæmpe flok hvepse hver dag vi skulle gå forbi. Det var ret utrygt. Derudover var der ingen roomservice selvom vi boede der 4 overnatninger.

Myslím, že nejlepší časy má hotel už za sebou, jde to vidět na vybavení. Co jsme měli pokoj, tak při každém stoupnutí na podlahu vrzala skříň.

The room was lovely. Excellent AC. The bathroom was great nice size and clean. The bed was comfortable. It was in a great location and the view was great. The bar is fun and lively and food snd drinks sre very reasonably priced.

We loved the bungalows and the sense of privacy. The beach is easily accessible and the pool was great. The day beds are plentiful and comfortable. The rooms are really quiet despite the live music every night which was great! We enjoyed yeh bar and the bands! The location is close to restaurants, a mini mart next door and an easy grab ride for a few dollars to anywhere!

Perfect oceanside location. Each room has its own unique character. Music 7 days a week. Anna, the manager and staff are very responsive and professional. Great place.

Great staff , our bungalow was 25 meters from the sea. The pool area was great but never cleaned such a shame because amazing area. Every night they had live music that was fantastic, such a quirky place. Loved it

The location was excellent and the pool was lovely, except that it hadn't been cleaned of leaves and sand. There was minimal interaction from staff who were constantly on their mobile phones, rather than engaging customers. Empty bottles were left outside for 2 days. Nobody swept sand from the pool area. I can see this property once being a cool place to stay but you need to lift the service level.

Amazingly location on the beach front (but no beach access because of the high water) there is a pool and tanning areas, a cafe, cute cats and ample space to chill and relax. Our room was good sized, with all the extra amenaties you'd need. We loved our stay here and everything about the place.

We did have a few bugs crawl into our room at night and by the second day the bathroom water had a funny smell. The music at night was great for us but maybe not for everone - so consider bringing ear plugs along if you are hoping to have an early night here.

Location and service

It is small resort, if you walk thru restaurant you will enter the accommodation part with small pool, garden and terrace which leads to the beach. Nice view. The coffee, drinks and food was really nice.

I think the owner should have cats or dogs so there would be less rats or maybe the rats was a pet...? It just came several times on my porch to check on me ;) The room I was staying needs bit of better cleaning from the "old" I mean the cobwebs or the celling fan should be wiped and the painting of the walls would do.

The room is beautiful, clean and comfortable with fan and air con. The swimming pool area very nice, and the bar with music all day and nice atmosphere. Many restaurants and markets in the same street.

The private beach very dirty, I think they need to clean the beach every day like the other hotel does every day, not just for the guests also to take care the environment.

As soon as I got in, I love the vibe. Great owner who is very personable it’s always a plus on any vacation. Especially as a solo traveler. I noticed everything. I’ve been traveling about Asia or four months. I got another month to go! this is one of the best places!

Joe ´s place was great (joe is an American) we stayed in a little bungalow at the back end of the cafe right by the pool and seafront The bungalow had a front terrace where we had breakfast. The room was great with a/c and a fan and mossy nets. Flat screen tv (oh could watch a premier league football game!) Nice food live music both nights - light rock bands not too loud and finished at 11 . Very good. Would recommend staying here Staff are very kind and friendly

This place was owned by joe, an american. That's why i felt the setting was a bit different from others. The staff are very nice with good english to communicate. Maybe they have the best english in town. They care much about the details in rooms which i like best. Like they do have something to kill the mosquitoes. Food is a little bit expensive. The band at night was not so satisfied.

Everything, the price , the live music at night , the closeness to the beach. This place shows you can stay on the beach and not pay stupid money for that privilege.

Well, if you come for cheap price but don’t want to hear live music till 11 pm … I thought it was perfect listening to the music from my balcony … but if you’re an early riser or a restless sleeper , maybe be picky in which room you pick. The ones closer to the beach would be quieter , probably wouldn’t hear anything there. I stayed in the bungalow on the second floor.

Very central location. Room was pleasant and clean.

There were no staff available, even after 10.30 am. I was unable to connect to the WiFi and there was no WiFi code in the room and no one to ask. It states in the room that breakfast is available from 8.30 am, but there was no one on site, as mentioned, and no breakfast options either. A little expensive for the service you get.
