Fijne, wat kleine kamer met mogelijkheden een simpele maaltijd klaar te maken. Ligging was goed nabij de kust.

Was moeilijk te vinden. Geen bewegwijzering naar het huis.

The amazing view over the water & hills. Private,quiet and restful area. Hosts were very friendly & informative.

Un cottage delizioso. Curato nei minimi dettagli, letto comodo e spazioso, c'era tutto quello che poteva servirci e anche di più! Ci hanno anche lasciato un piccolo termo acceso per poterci scaldare e asciugare dopo una giornata di pioggia. Gentilissimi i proprietari, assolutamente consigliato!

We had very beautiful stay in this vintage style apartment. It's cosy and comfortable room. Very clean. There was refrigerator, microwave and kettle.Few choice of coffee. Seamus and Carol were very kind. Stunning views from car park To found cottage you need use Google maps.

Chambre parfaite pour un court séjour, 1 nuit dans notre cas, en couple de touristes de passage. Très bon accueil par Monsieur et Madame. La vue à l’extérieur est très belle.

Spacious room wirh basic cooking facilities (microwave, toaster and kettle). Also had some cereals provided for breakfast. Lovely view of the bay from the property. This room had a view up the hill which was also nice. Quiet and relaxing

Wife would have liked a TV. Purely a personal preference.

Buona posizione vicino alle scogliere. Non lontano da un centro abitato con un ristorante, due take away e un negozio di alimentari. Camera confortevole, sono presenti prodotti per la colazione e acqua. Host molto disponibile e amichevole.

La stanza si è rivelata perfetta : pulita, caratteristica e dotata di ogni confort. È in una posizione splendida per visitare la regione e gode difronte ad una baia bellissima. La coppia che la gestisce è stata gentilissima e ci ha accolto anche fuori dall' orario di check in a causa di un ritardo aereo. Un giorno addirittura ci ha fatto trovare una bella colazione davanti alla porta. Assolutamente raccomandato. Posteggio comodo davanti alla camera. Per trovarla senza difficoltà basta seguire le indicazioni fornite.

Perfect space for 2 people!! Very comfortable double bed, lovely clean bathroom facilities with fresh towels and toiletries, a small kitchenette type space with a microwave, toaster and kettle which was perfect for breakfast in the morning. We were also supplied with cereal, tea and coffee!! The whole place was very clean also. Carol and her husband were both lovely and very welcoming and the view from their property was unbelievable.

It was very bright once the sun rose so I’d advise bringing a sleeping mask.

Very clean, everything you need for a night away from the kids. Fantastic views of the mountains and the coast. Carol is there on hand if you need anything, not that you will. A fantastic find, we will be booking again! Thanks

Everything was neat in the room, everything had its place, the towels were soft. We were late checking in and the owners made sure the key was available and we knew where to get it

Bed was really comfortable, shower perfect and there was everything for breakfast, including two croissants and proper coffee!

It was a bit cold as the heaters were not on and the day was chilly, but there was an electric heater and that did the trick

I liked everything about this place, we arrived later than expected, was already dark, the hosts were so nice and helpful with guiding us to the BnB, perfect location in a beautiful spot, the air is so fresh, the views are amazing, lovely people, clean cozy room, comfortable bed, perfect for visiting Slieve League. El pany de la porta ens va costar molt, està trencat, es té que fer molta força per tancar-la, fins que no van venir els amfitrions, la varem deixar oberta amb les nostres coses a dins. T'ho vénen com studio-apartment i es una petita habitació doble amb bany, micoones, plats, coberts, tasses i gots però no es pot cuinar res, només escalfar. Teniem la intenció de sopar a l'apartament i no ho varem poder fer, no hi ha cuina!!!

A vista é magnífica, o quarto é muito acolhedor. A Carol é o marido são muito simpáticos. Tivemos direito a tarte, água e leite, assim que chegamos e croissants para o pequeno almoço.

Wir wurden warmherzig empfangen. Auto direkt neben dem Cottage parkieren können. Schöner Ausblick mit Tisch und Sitzgelegenheiten zum Verweilen. Ohne Frühstück gebucht. Am 2. Tag wurden wir mit einem Frühstück überrascht! Zimmer sehr einladend und stilvoll eingerichtet. Es hat uns auf Anhieb gefallen. Gastgeber-Paar sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Würden sofort wieder buchen. DANKE!

Really cosy with everything you need for a couple of nights. Small fridge with milk and lots of things to make brews. There were a few breakfasty things that we really appreciated and a microwave/toaster too! The hosts were super friendly and gave us some tips on the area!

Me and my husband had a wonderful stay at Carol's cottage. The location was perfect, just 15-20 minutes drive from all major attractions including Slieve League, Silver strand beach etc. The apartment was very clean and equipped with a few kitchen appliances. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it.

This place was a wonderful surprise. Hosts Carol and Seamus were delightful. The space is small but tastefully, comfortably and thoughtfully decorated. The views from the outdoor sitting area are just stunning. We loved our stay here. Breakfast was excellent.

Carol and Seamus were super friendly, I have a great grandmother I am trying to find and they spent hours talking with me and telling us about life in Kilcar. I will be going back there this summer for sure, there was a massive storm when we were there, I would like to experience the area in nicer weather. The room and bed was cosy, it has everything you need. There was a big bottle of water, kettle, microwave, refrigerator, little snacks, milk, breakfast cereal and yogurt. We got lost on the way up and Carol offered to come and meet us, it was almost midnight. Just a lovely couple. Thanks for everything.

Extremely clean and cosy, immaculately decorated with beautiful sea views from the terrace. The bed was very comfortable. Carol and Seamus were very kind and helpful hosts and had left lots of very thoughtful breakfast items which was much appreciated. Would have loved to have stayed longer!

No negative points, just some things to note: the property is quite remote so a car is definitely needed, but less than 10 minutes drive to local villages. Directions provided were very helpful and we had no difficulty finding it. This is a lovely studio apartment, perfect for short stays. There is only a kitchenette, but the hosts had provided plenty of provisions to manage easily without a full kitchen. There is also no television, but the WiFi was excellent, so we were quite happy watching streamed services. A very enjoyable stay.

Super clean, absolutely adorable, everything you need and much more, absolutely stunning views!

Very pleasant, private annexe to a family house. Essentially a bedroom with kitchenette area, and sliding door to small bathroom with shower. The view from outside was lovely. The owner Carol was friendly.

Finding the property wasn't easy. We had already messaged Carol twice via the booking app, and were assured she would send directions to us. She never did. We messaged again a few hours before arrival, but the reply was only "the key is in the door". We had an Eirecode which took us to the nearest known village Kilcar. I asked a bar man in the pub, and he said it's two miles out of the village and hard to find, but gave us directions to a hostel near to it. At the hostel we eventually found someone who knew where it was.

I arrived late as a rather battered cyclist and I was given a wonderful welcome by Carol and Seamus. Above and beyond. Perfect.

It’s on a very remote road but Eircode finder works well.

Overall everything was fine,the property was clean and quiet.

Very hard to find ,no single sign anywhere ,even on the property gates,had to stop on the roadside twice and ask some local people on the road to get to the right place.No TV in the room ,a bit disappointing.......

Cute and cozy space with a private entrance, more facilities than expected, friendly hosts and amazing views. If we come back to Ireland we will defiantly be staying again. :)

The apartment we stayed in, Carol's place, was so clean and adorable.. and Carol was so kind and thoughtful to put some extras. Like bagel, freshly squeeze orange juice butter and jam. Almost all breakfast is there.even our booking has no breakfast included. We are very surprised. Thank you so much, agian Carol!!!

Everything the room was well presented and comfortable. The views were sensational from back. James was very friendly and we enjoyed having a chat. He even had a small breakfast of cereal ,milk, and fruit. We had a wonderful night stay.

Location, comfort, friendship, people. Area was close to everything. Excellent food in Carrick recommended by Carol & Seamus. Scenery was amazing. People are grand. Weather was lucky.

The room was very clean and cozy. The owner was really nice and helpful telling us the wifi code and how to use the shower which was was pretty easy. There is a fully equipped kitchen in the bedroom and the owner left some food in there for us to have breakfast.

The location and how to find the house was very complex. In Ireland there is something called Eire code and the owner sent us once we asked and once we were in the nearby city and a bit lost, so if you are going there by car, remember to ask for clear instructions on how to get there so you can go by the easy way, instead of the one that goes through the farms, specially at night.

The cottage is very cozy, it is possible to enjoy the nature and the silence around. It is very clean and the possibility of a late check-in is definitely a plus, especially when doing a road trip. Very clean and well maintained! Perfect for a night stay while travelling around Ireland.

Communication can be improved a bit, the shower was not that intuitive for us to use and it would be helpful to have some instructions beforehand. We arrived at night and we didn’t know where the house was, we needed to ask help to a guy in a house nearby. A few more instructions will be definitely appreciated by travellers! Products for the breakfast can be improved too as they were a bit old.
