Cottage feel. Comfortable bed, exceptionally clean, tea coffee and light breakfast.

Poor internet and no television.

Gezellige kamer, rustig gelegen. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaren.

Stanza arredata con gusto nei minimi dettagli. Noi abbiamo alloggiato in un piccolo capanno adibito a camera da letto. Stanza pulitissima e abbastanza grande da poter tenere comodamente le valigie. Letto comodo e spazioso. C'era tutto l'occorrente per fare una colazione come cereali, piatti e posate, in più in frigo la proprietà ha lasciato acqua e latte per la mattina seguente. La posizione è ottima, immersa nel verde ma a 15 minuti dalle scogliere.

Sulla prenotazione era indicato come intero appartamento ma in realtà è più una stanza con angolo colazione. Non ci sono fornelli ma un forno a microonde e la kettel per l'acqua. Essendo un capanno nel giardino dei proprietari l'ho trovato leggermente freddo e umido ma accendendo il termosifone la situazione è molto migliorata.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich und perfekt, um einmal vom stressigen Alltag abzuschalten. Die kleine Teeküche bietet die Möglichkeit kleine Mahlzeiten und Frühstück zuzubereiten, das dann mit einem super Blick auf die Natur genossen werden kann. Wir hatten einen sehr entspannten und entschleunigenden Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft! In der Unterkunft selber hatten wir keinen Empfang, was für uns jedoch kein Problem darstellte.

Based on the booking.com description, we booked a room with breakfast. Well, there were cornflakes and muesli, but that's all. So I wouldn't call it breakfast by any standard. True, when on arrival we put this question, Carol kindly brought us fresh milk and croissants, but on the second morning when we took it for granted and did not ask for it separately, we got nothing! I just did not want to ask for it again. I don't really know, but there must have been some misunderstanding. Another issue was the quality of the wifi. In our cabin "Under the Eaves" it was near to nothing. And I had to make some videoconference calls in the morning! Luckily, after complaining about it, the host allowed me to use her own wifi in her own house, which was excellent. That favor saved my day and I really have to say thanks for it. Otherwise, everything was nice and okay.

It was bright and clean. Owners were also very nice and helpful

Privacy might be an issue for some as blackout blinds needed to be down. Perhaps net curtains would rectify this

La propriétaire est très sympathique.Elle nous a apporté la veille au soir de quoi prendre le petit-déjeuner gracieusement. Le logement est très spacieux, il y a un frigo, 1 micro-ondes de la vaisselle.

Location! Was advertised as 'beach access'. It's on the side of a hill, a drive to nearest (beautiful) beach. It would have been perfect otherwise.

Ein netter Raum der einen eigenen Eingang hat. Bett war bequem, Raum war groß, Badezimmer klein aber ausreichend, warm und alles sauber! Dusche an sich war super angenehm! Etwas für SB Frühstück war bereitgestellt und es war nachts unglaublich ruhig! Alles was man für eine Übernachtung benötigt! Sehr nah an den Sleage League Cliffs perfekte Lage dafür! Allgemein ist die Umgebung sehr schön, das aufwachen mit dieser Aussicht war super! WLAN war gut und der Eigentümer war schnell im Antworten und freundlich. Handtücher vorhanden sowie eine Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher! Es wird sogar ein Adapter parat gestellt. Instruktionen für den self Check in waren sehr gut und ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden. Vor der Eingangstür gab es eine kleine Terrasse sehr gemütlich! Sehr niedliche Unterkunft für eine Übernachtung auf Durchreise definitiv zu empfehlen! Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Süß das die Unterkunft schon mit Osterdekoration geschmückt war, da macht sich einer Gedanken für seine Gäste.

Evtl. etwas zu teuer, aber es ist Irland.

Ich war von allem begeistert. Es war die schönste Unterkunft meiner Reise.

Badkamer heeft een heel klein wastafeltje ook te klein van omvang om de handen te wassen. Omdat er geen “ keuken” is staat er een afwasteil waar de afwas in kan maar er is niet voldoende bestek / servies aanwezig.

Very clean and cozy! It had a beautiful view towards the Sliabh Liag Cliffs. We were greeted by the host when we arrived. He was accommodating and kind. We felt he went above and beyond to take care and ensure our comfort.

There were a couple slugs in the bathroom but were easily taken care of. Also the drain plug in the bathroom sink doesn’t work so the bowl fills up quickly and takes a while to drain.

La chambre est au top. Super emplacement, paisible. L’hôte était super sympathique et accueillant. La chambre rien à redire, très propre avec micro-ondes et tout ce qu’il faut pour petit déjeuner. Très bel endroit nous avons très apprécié notre court séjour.

Great location, we visited Slive League and Assaranka waterfall. Carol and Seamus were so friendly and welcoming. The house was so good to sleep well, plenty of space, beautiful spot with gorgeous views. Super clean cozy room, peaceful environment for proper rest, you have everything you need hot shower, comfortable bed, snacks, coffee/tea in the morning, even extra a bit of scone with jam and butter was nice to have for breakfast. Would 100% recommend! Thank you so much!

Beautiful room and colours of the sea. Comfortable though we only had short time to enjoy it.

Google maps brought us down a very bad boreen.. full of potholes. We should have taken more notice of the directions of our host, but relied( too heavily) on google maps

Très joli, décoré avec goût, on s’y sent très bien tout de suite ! Très pratique, on voit que l’hôte a pensé à tout pour que nous ne manquions de rien. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la petite attention des croissants chauds amenés le matin.

The Wi-Fi could be stronger, though they’re sorting it, so not a big issue.

Location was stunning. Host was very helpful and breakfast good.

Very clean; cute decorations: own little cabin/tiny house; comfortable bed, linens and towels; mini fridge and microwave available; French press with coffee.

The host gives good directions so follow them closely or it will be hard to find.

Le studio est magnifique avec une superbe vue. C'est calme, propre, bien aménagé et décoré avec goût. L'hôtesse est bienveillante et chaleureuse, elle nous a apporté un très bon petit déjeuner. Il y a un micro-ondes et un petit frigo pour un repas d'appoint.

The room was light and clean

We booked the property because it was described as 'beachfront' and with direct access to the beach. This is not correct. it is possible to see the sea in the distance but it is necessary to drive some distance to reach the nearest beach. The property has no sink in the kitchenette, and there is only a very tiny handwashing basin in a very cramped corner in the bathroom.

The apartment was clean and comfortable and was in a great location for exploring the local area. It was very close to Sliabh Liag. Carol was very welcoming and provided a nice breakfast. Would recommend.

I travel a lot and this was the best place I've stayed at for awhile. The room was cozy and well equipped. The host was unbelievably helpful and went way out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The view was gorgeous and there's a short walk to a lovely beach.

The only thing I'd change was we'd rent a car instead of trying to get there by bus. The distance from the bus stop was easy but the weather can be unpredictable. It's better to have a car for sure.

Absolutely loved my one night stay here, greeted with such a warm welcome and the place had everything you could need plus a super comfy bed! I was so glad to find this spot on the day a storm came in as I didn't fancy staying in my van, 10/10 and not to mention the views!!

lovely quaint spotless quiet apartment, Fantastic Location and views so near to slieve league 15 min drive . Lovely hosts Carol and Seamus and Mellow their adorable dog . Surprising extras like cereals and croissants. Will be definitely travelling back with my daughters and doggy next year .Thank you

Corner with kettle could be improved by having a unit with a sink. Bathroom door could be moved a little to offer more elbow room.

This is a delightful sanctuary for a solo traveler. Close to the main house yet completely private. Bright and airy and tastefully decorated with a well stocked kitchenette. The owners being so relaxed and friendly make it all the more a home from home and I really enjoyed my stay.

Excellent quiet place to stay in an amazing location! Carol was very welcoming and brought us pastries, fruit, yogurt and fresh milk for breakfast. Would have stayed another night if we had time and gone back to the Rusty Mackerel a third time 😂
