Reviewed Sep 16, 2026Dit was het beste verblijf dat we in Ierland hadden, het overtrof onze verwachtingen. Het appartement was zeer ruim met een aparte grote slaapkamer? een ruime badkamer en een grote huiskamer met keuken. Alles was nieuw en van een uitstekende kwaliteit. De keuken was compleet met onder meer een Nespresso apparaat én cupjes. Het huis was licht en het uitzicht rondom fantastisch. Er was een apart raam om naar Slieve League te kijken, geweldig wat een uitzicht. We hebben de host ontmoet, wat een enthousiaste en aardige dame. Kilcar was op loopafstand, daar zitten diverse kroegen en op dinsdagavond wordt muziek gemaakt. Je kunt er ook tweed kopen.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2026Loved this accommodation, very cosy, comfortable and modern, with a Smart TV that actually worked! Great views from all windows and all mod cons. Kristina was very helpful and accommodating, and the location was excellent for our trip down the Wild Atlantic Way.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026Location is beautiful and peaceful. 10/15 min drive from Muckross beach - beautiful swimming and easy accessible beach. The apartment is lovely, great views and really clean and all you need for a night or two in Donegal. Thanks for the tea bags and coffee.
The apartment was very warm as the weather was very good. We struggled with getting the heating temp down to a more comfortable level. There was a fan though and we were able to open one the bedroom veranda door a little.

The property is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean with off road parking, free WiFi and everything you need for your stay. La posizione è comoda per andare a vedere le scogliere e a 40 minuti di auto da Donegal. Piazzola di parcheggio proprio davanti la struttura, praticamente in salotto 😁

Er was veel wind die nacht en dat maakte ergens wel lawaai tegen de regenpijp denk ik. Dus ms wel iets om na te kijken?

It would be lovely to have a little lamp beside TV as the spot lights were too bright to have them on while watching Tv but there was no alternative light? Also we wanted cook our dinner and we discovered we had no baking tray or suitable dish that we could use so maybe it would be nice to look into it. Maybe a little hoover underneath the couch would be nice as I dropped something and had to retrieve it from there 🫣

The house has everything you need - it’s cosy, warm, and the kitchen and living area was great for a home cooked meal and peaceful stay along our road trip! The owners are just the best, the decor is modern but minimal with lovely views of the surrounding mountains, plenty of windows so plenty of light also and the property is in very close proximity to a local quiet Donegal village Kilcar.

Reviewed Sep 30, 2025Die Lage ist etwas abseits, dafür geniesst man aber die Ruhe und den Blick ins Grüne. Die Betten waren super, auch die Bettwäsche roch gut und nicht stark nach Waschmittel (was sehr oft vorkommt bei anderen Häusern). Der Knüller ist das Kuschelsofa am grossen Fenster, wo man es sich gemütlich machen und rausschauen kann, auch bei strömendem Regen. Leider haben wir die Gastgeber nicht kennengelernt, der schriftliche Kontakt war aber gut. Es war alles sauber, auch die Küche ist top ausgestattet.
Wir hatten uns so gefreut auf die Badewanne, weil wir eine lange Fahrt hinter uns hatten und einen anstrengenden Tag - und dann die Enttäuschung: die Wanne ist defekt. Nicht nur die Sprudelfunktion ging nicht, das Wasser für die Wanne war ganz abgeschaltet worden und nur die Dusche stand uns zur Verfügung (etwas wenig Wasserdruck, man muss relativ lange duschen um sich aufzuwärmen). Das war eine herbe Enttäuschung nach der anfänglichen Freude. Hoffentlich wird das bald repariert ...

Els propietaris que viuen a la casa del cantó, van ser molt amables i van deixar als meus fills anar al seu jardí, ja que tenen un petit camp de futbol amb una porteria. Vam estar molt a gust. El poble està molt aprop, 3 minuts en cotxe, és un poble molt petit però tens un supermercat i 3 pubs.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2025Logement au calme agréable pour 4 personnes (peut-être plutôt deux adultes et deux enfants). Nous n'avons passé qu'une nuit sur place donc la chambre en mezzanine (plutôt basse de plafond) ne nous a pas posé trop de problème. Elle reste un peu petite pour y installer ses affaires si le séjour est plus long.
Il y avait peu de vaisselles dans la cuisine. Nous avons mangé sur place et nous avons du nous adapter pour la préparation du repas. Mais ça a tout de même bien fonctionné !

Der Whirlpool war defekt. Die Matratze im Ehebett was leider dünn und durchgelegen, genau wie das Sofa.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2025Ideale Lage zu den Klippen von Sleave League, trotzdem sehr ruhig gelegen. Großer Wohnbereich. Für das Kind im Spitzboden etwas beengt, aber okay zum Schlafen. Nagelneus Häuschen mit allem Komfort. Eigener Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür.
Eine gemütliche indirekte Beleuchtung würde den Wohnraum noch aufwerten.

Was a hot weekend and no fault at all of the hosts but the mezzanine was stifling as all heat rose to the top. A fan was provided though and safe enough to have windows and doors open overnight.

Reviewed Jul 10, 2025This beautiful little property was in the perfect location if you’re looking to experience rural Donegal but not too far away from the local village (walking distance)! I stayed here with my mum and younger 7 year old daughter and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The owners are really nice and very accommodating, there’s a safe space for the child to play and the large bedroom is beside the bathroom, perfect for my 70 year old mother! The scenery is beautiful and I will definitely be back year after year!
