Chalet très bien équipé. Acceuil aimable.

Comfortable, ideal for a quick couple of nights stay, has everything needed for self catering plus a few nice touches from the host. Handy base for exploring the area, you need to have your own transport for sure. We will definitely book again.

Leider war die Hütte nicht so sauber wie es in den Beschreibungen zu lesen war.Das Geschirr, Töpfe und auch das Besteck haben wir vor Gebrauch erst einmal abgewaschen. Und wir sind wirklich nicht kleinlich. Die Stühle waren sehr wackelig und nicht richtig verschraubt, so daß man beim umstellen die lehne in der Hand hatte. Auf der Terrasse war leider nur 1 Stuhl, so dass wir immer den Küchenstuhl mit raus nehmen mussten. Einen Tisch gab es auf der Terrasse nicht. Neben der Hütte gab es zwar eine Holzbank mit Tisch, aber die standen unter einem Baum u waren sehr klebrig, also nicht nutzbar. Die Hütte ist sehr klein, Küche u Schlafzimmer in einem. Das war uns auch bewusst, es wäre jedoch schön gewesen, wenn wenigstens an einem Fenster ein Fliegenschutz gewesen wäre. Denn nach dem Kochen hatten wir die Möglichkeiten entweder im Kochdunst zu sitzen, oder Besuch von Insekten zu haben.

Cozy and very comfy bed - Definitely try the hideaway sauna if you book! It’s so close and divine!

Would be lovely to have a privacy screen to separate from main home and something to make coffee in :)

Didn’t stay long enough to find out once we had seen it

It was described as a one bedroom house. It is actually a single room, with no space to sit. Once my review was published, the owner called my personal mobile number to take issue with it. I found this unpleasant

Die Hütte war sauber. Es gab eine kleine Küche mit einem Kühlschrank und einem kleinen Gefrierfach. Es war wie eine kleine Wohnung. Man konnte direkt am Straßenrand parken ohne Gebühren. Es war eine ruhige Wohngegend.

Zur Lage oder Angebote in der Nähe kann ich keine Bewertung abgeben. Ich war nur auf der Durchreise. Ich bin nachts angekommen, habe geduscht und geschlafen. Am nächsten Morgen bin ich einfach wieder weiter gefahren.

The cabin was quiet and cozy. There were nice treats left for us. Hosts were pleasant.

One of us had a wall right beside the bed. There were limited electrical plugs for charging our devices. The bathroom sink was very small.

Denis was lovely and left fresh water in fridge for us as well as having basics like salt and pepper which is really considerate. Great communication. Perfect wee space for us. Only wish it had been available longer.

Na zdjęciu pokój wydawał mi się większy. Dla 3 osób było ciasno. Dla mnie osobiście nie było zbyt komfortowo przechodzić przez taras gospodarzy za każdym razem.

Very quiet location, which was really nice. Easy to get to and a short drive from Kilkenny.

Was very comfortable and near the town good value for money, friendly owners will visit again. 😎

Une cabane au fond d’un jardin Ca pourrait être sympa si : pas d’odeur de moisissure, pas de condensation sur les vitres , pas une douche dont la fenêtre est pourrie Et comble sans la visite matinale d’une limace sur la cuisinière et j’oubliais pas une bouilloire dont des particules se déposent dans l’eau etc Bref seul l’emplacement a 4 km de Kilkenny est correct

Bref c’est déconseillé à moins que le propriétaire refasse sa cabane Désolé je n’aime pas faire de la mauvaise pub mais la c’est vraiment trop insalubre pour ne rien dire

Eine einfach ausgestattete Unterkunft im Garten der Vermieter, die übrigens sehr nett sind! Für Selbstversorger, max. 2 Personen, auf jeden Fall eine gute Option.

Küchenausstattung etwas mager (kleine Töpfe)

Logement juste pratique pour être à proximité de Kilkenny et être autonome (check-in autonome, possibilité de cuisiner et salle de bain privé), mais confort sommaire (forte humidité, ouvertures qui ne se ferment pas bien donc insectes, froid malgré le chauffage). Hôtes sympathiques et réactifs.

This is the first time since many years of travelling I have to put a very bad review. We had a very poor time in this accomodation. We felt we were like the guinea pigs in a shed at the bottom of the garden while the owners were having fun outside their house just next to our windows. We complained about that but the owner didn't really care about us and kept having his party with many kids playing on bouncy castle during 3 days!! Totally not understandable. Moreover the accommodation is in a poor condition, smelly, dirty and of course no privacy through the windows, we had to keep the curtains shut, staying in the darkness! We had to ask for a refund to Booking.com for the disturbance we had to go through as the owner didn't want to discuss with us about it and was just focused on having fun in his garden... Be aware where you might end up before booking this place

I was afraid that the cottage would be cold, but there is heater and it warms up the space nicely. If you don't have a car, the location is a little difficult to reach. However, the owner was very helpful, picked us up at the train station, and also offered us a ride to town the next day. The accommodation was comfortable, the kitchen was nicely equipped, and we enjoyed a pleasant stay.

This cute little cabin had an extremely comfortable bed and pillows. The furnishings were simple but comfortable. If you're looking for a high-end accommodation this isn't it, but for the price it provided exceptional value. The owner was friendly and helpful. Everything was spotlessly clean. The locked-garden setting of the cabin was pretty and provided privacy and security. We were very happy with our stay.

As noted before, this isn't a high-end deluxe property, but then you're not paying high-end deluxe pricing. For people like us on a fixed budget this cozy cabin was a perfect solution.

Our stay was fine at this log cabin , it has an original feel to the place, the location is quite convenient to the Kilkenny city center if you have a car.

Take into consideration that it’s quite a small room, a bit more cramped if you need two separate beds. Parking is about 50 meters from the cabin entrance and includes a few steep stairs which is difficult to navigate with heavy luggage. We left our heavier luggage in the car at night and stayed at the cabin with carry on size luggage .

Very nice family to stay with. They were accommodating to our needs, assisted us with directions, offered to take us into town, etc. Receiving a home-cooked Irish meal was over the top for us. It was delicious! Thanks so much!

Small but comfortable house, the host was kind and always answering our questions. The house is good equipped and the host had been leave some stuff in the fridge for us, like milk, eggs, water , cookies, which it was very useful when you arrive late in night with a baby and almost nothing open to buy groceries.

If you go by car or rent a car the location is amazing!!! but without car, the transportation to Kilkenny is difficult because the taxi is approx €16-20 just until city centre, and walking is quite dangerous , without sidewalk at least 30 minutes . The house has parking if you go with car .

Very cozy little cabin close to amenities, restaurants and shopping. Cozy bed and functional kitchen, we enjoyed our stay!

The shower was good, but no plug in the basin. Towels good, plenty of drawers and hanging space. Kitchen was well equipped, plenty of hot water. The supply of fresh milk and biscuits was very welcome. The bed was a bit creaky but comfortable. It all suited us for what we wanted it for.

The main door to the cabin had to be lifted up to open and for the lock bolt to go into the hole in the frame. The tea and coffee supply was great, but no sugar. No plug in the hand basin. The access steps down into the garden could have done with another one or two because of the height

The cabin was perfect for our needs. It was self-sufficient and stocked with some basics, coffee, tea, water bottles. Parking was easy, it was close to Kilkenny and the host recommended some places to go. It was absolutely perfect and I would stay there again if I returned to Ireland.

We enjoyed this unique little cabin. It was nice and quiet and the bed is very comfortable.

Some of the kitchenware hadn't been cleaned very well by a previous guest and the pans need replacing (Teflon flaking off)

The location was ok. Ok for price.

First of all smell of dampness straight away covered by air fresner. When we arrived it was cold in the cabin. Heater was available to heat the room but but would not reach the bathroom. Dining extremely flimsy and only two chairs. Bed collapsed on our first night , couldn't stay second night. Apparently bed was not put together properly. Ruined our weekend, had to go home next day. It was a bit of a struggle to get a full refund. Would never stay again.

Absolutely lovely cabin. Denis the owner very helpful. Cooker fridge the works. The shower was really powerful the way I like it.

This cabin was cozy and adorable. Super-comfy bed. We didn't use the kitchen except for toast and coffee, but it looked well-stocked. The shower was fantastic; nice and hot. We arrived after dark and Dennis still met us and walked us to the cabin and showed us around.

The ease of communicating with Denise, she was an absolute dream.

It's a nice little log cabin in the garden of the owners - so kids are welcome to play there and use the trampoline. There is a king size bed, a little kitchen that has everything you need to make yourself a little meal, a nice bathroom.
