Ankunft und Abreise sehr unpersönlich.Bei diesen Zimmerpreisen sollte das Mineralwasser inklusive sein und auch zwei Nespresso Kapseln für Kaffee finde ich etwas sehr wenig.

Reviewed Sep 17, 2026Sehr schönes, grosses Zimmer, mit grossem Balkon und Sicht auf den Rhein. Sehr zentrale Lage in der Altstadt. Man kann den Grossteil zu Fuss erreichen. Diverse Restaurants mit allen Geschmacksrichtungen ebenfalls in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2026Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, wir konnten sogar unsere Räder in einem nicht gebuchten̈ ebenerdigen Zimmer unentgeltlich abstellen. Für Radfahrer empfiehlt sich vielleicht, sich wegen der Abstellmöglichkeiten von Fahrrädern vorab zu erkundigen.
Nichts im Hotel, hier alles gut. Aber für booking.com: bei der Zunahme von Radreisenden würde ich mir schon erwarten, dass auf das Vorhandensein eines Fahrradraums hingewiesen wird.

Leider wurde der Flug meiner Tochter storniert aufgrund eines Feuers auf der Landebahn. Ich habe das Hotel umgehend informiert,dass meine Tochter nicht anreisen wird. Leider wurden mir trotzdem beide Nächte verrechnet.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2026Die beste Erfahrung war das überaus aufmerksame und freundliche Zimmermädchen. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls recht ordentlich.
Der Empfang war routiniert, aber wenig freundlich oder hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer( Suite ) war allenfalls standard, aber eher unpraktisch. Die Terrassentür ließ sich kaum öffnen und die Vorhänge waren viel zu klein für die Fensterfläche, so dass man morgens früh durch das Tageslicht geweckt wurde.

We stayed in an Executive Room, which was spacious, comfortable and very nicely presented. One of the biggest positives was having air-conditioning, especially while travelling during summer. The room was comfortable to come back to after spending the day walking around the city, and everything felt clean and well maintained. The location was also very convenient. It was close to central Basel, so getting into the main city area and seeing the sights was straightforward without feeling like we were staying somewhere far out of the way. Overall, this was one of those accommodations where everything simply worked as expected. The room was very nice, the location was convenient, the air-conditioning worked well, and we had no real problems during the stay. Would happily stay here again.

Room size is a little bit tight if you travel with a kid and you need to use the sofa bed. It is ok only for one night. Room ventilation doesn’t work so efficiently. Mini bar is full with a lot of drinks and snacks, but really expensive:(

Eitje pellen en dan peper en/of zout bij het buffet erop doen? Een kleine moeite om peper en zout zakjes bij het buffet te leggen. Of meerdere stelletjes op tafel beschikbaar?
Wat betreft parkeren bij hotel. Dat is niet echt duidelijk bij aankomst. Misschien toch fijn om vooraf duidelijk aan te geven waar parkeren voor korte tijd bij hotel is toegestaan?

ja, okay, die Zimmerausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Der Preis macht das jedoch wett. Dafür war das Bad tip-top. Groß, modernisiert, mit bodenebener Dusche. Sehr fein.

The AC unit started pouring out water in the middle of the night right into my open suitcase of electronics. When I complained I was told there was no manager available and they would get somebody to get back to me. I’m still waiting.

Es fehlt die Information, dass es keine Plätze für Fahrräder gibt. Hätte ich das von vornherein gewusst, hätte ich eine andere Unterkunft gewählt. Der Vorschlag, unsere Räder draussen auf der Strasse abzustellen, war ja keine wirkliche Alternative.

Osoblje nam je zaista izašlo ususret, omogućili su nam raniji check-in i ranije očišćenu sobu jer smo imali vrlo rani let. Zbog problema s klimom bez problema su nam ustupili drugu sobu. Posebno bismo pohvalili izuzetno ljubazno i susretljivo osoblje, a naročito recepcionerku Ilonu, koja je bila vrlo profesionalna i spremna pomoći u svakom trenutku. Smještaj je ugodan, lokacija izvrsna i svakako bismo ga ponovno odabrali.

Pas grand chose à critiquer, peut-être juste l'absence de parking et le fait de devoir se garer plus loin et payer pour le parking.
