Beach One Bedroom Suite A29

The suite had a wonderful view overlooking Ocho Ríos Beach. The kitchenette was useful.

The front desk was only staffed from 9-5 and when staff were present they were not very helpful or friendly. The restaurant was closed for the entire stay. The pool was frequently closed for treatment. The suite needed a deep clean and upgrades.

Excellent location and it was easy to check in once information was provided, good value for money. Would use again.

Communication from host could have been better no check in details were provided initially and no checkout time was explained. House keeper had to inform of check out time.

The location was perfect for everything that I needed during this trip.

The only issue I had was the ant problem in the kitchen area of the apartment.

Wish we had more towels. We finally received beach towels we requested the day we did not plan to go to the beach. Over all great accommodations.

I love the pool it is kids friendly. The apartment is very clean. the Wifi was great, the AC is great. i love the sea view. i think we will return.

There wasnt enough plates and no cups for tea. no dish towel, only one wash cloth in the bathroom, no mat in the kitchen. the bedroom window need cleaning. the sofa bed for the children bed was too hard and smell of urine.

The location was perfect, you’re right in the town center.

The room was not clean, and the bathroom sink was leaking, we had to use the towels to clean up the mess and I reported it several times and they didn’t fix the problem. I also wanted towels after the fact that I used the previous one to clean up the floor and they took 2 days before I could get towels, I kept going back to them. The sofa bed is broken and was hard to use, and VERY UNCOMFORTABLE.

The AC was not working and I reported it several times and they never fix it. The water was cold in the bathroom and the water should be hot to make sure I wash the germs off my hands.

The ac needed cleaning and there were molds in the kitchen as water was leaking from the apartment above.

Fantastic location. Easy access to Ocho Rios Bay Beach, and right in the heart of the town. The apartment had everything we needed for two people. A comfortable king size bed. A large shower. A lot of storage.. A small, basic kitchen so we could make our breakfast every day. It has a view of the ocean from the tiny balcony that fits two stools. We enjoyed having morning coffee and watching the cruise ships come in. The staff at the pool bar are lovely where they have great cocktails, cold beer, and food.

The apartment is dark and could use more lighting. There also are no beach chairs that guests could use so you have to rent them - $10/day. The wifi in the aprtment was good, but there was none throughout the property.

Fantastic stay in A29 with my family. Very clean and comfortable. Beautiful view!! Great location, minutes walk from the beach and close to restaurants and shops. Will definitely stay again

Close to beach and town, quiet, alot of privacy, friendly staff

First let me say: I met the unit owner Paul while there, he’s amazing! I totally recommend!! To explain the property, it appears locals own and live in the condo complex, some rent them out to tourists. Amenities include: gated property 24hr security at front gates, back gate to beach is open early until 7pm, 24hr front desk service, a restaurant at main building, pool and patio bar. There’s a Rasta man who cooks fried chicken, rice, plantain at the patio bar which is by far the best food I ate while in Jamaica! Also, biggest portion for the best price. Everyone on the property is friendly, staff helpful. The units I was in are clean, modern, tastefully decorated. This is not a 5 star hotel by the standards of Canada and the US, but your definitely not going to worry about cleanliness. HOWEVER, keeping in mind you’re in a tropical country, if you’re on a ground level unit, you cannot leave doors open…they have harmless, little harmless lizard that run around like chipmunks and birds, but they will come into the unit (we had one come in, my fault, they are completely harmless but run from you and almost impossible catch or run out) From a tourist perspective it’s located in the town center, backs on to a walkway to the beach, it’s about 30sec-1min walk to Ocho Ríos Bay beach. It has a large white sand area, so people aren’t crowded, beautiful clear blue water. There is a marina close by but boats aren’t disturbing and not odd fish smell which I always worry about when I hear marina. For locating purposes, from the front of the building, Turtle park is directly across the street. From front desk to park gate it’s maybe a 1 min walk. There’s restaurants and shops all around, a casino about 2-4min walk down the Main Street, a delicious Italian restaurant about a 5 mins walk and Margaritaville ocho rios, less than 10min walk. I rented from Paul, for the first 2 days of my trip. My other accommodations fell through last minute.

The ONLY thing I can say is the pull out couch beds are a little rough, but honestly, when are they not LOL

It was clean, & walking distance to the restaurant, Coffee & shops. Felt Safe, they have security & locked gates to enter the apartment. The Private Beach in front of the place was a plus 👍🏼

No HOT water till the last day we were there but it was warm then cold again. We had to Boil Water in the Microwave, no pots available. I message the owner & never got a response. We couldn’t open any of the windows/shutters for fresh air because there was no screens on them and didn’t want to be eaten alive ☹️
