S A L - Beach Apartments Caniçal

Such a great place to stay, and super clean, right by the sea, shops, bakery and a lovely host who gives great recommendations. Also the shower was amazing!

The contact with the host was very good. Clear instructions and fast replies. Even during our stay we receveid a heads up about the local celebrations and possible (loud) noises. The location is good. There are a lot of parking possibilities for free in the streets around the apartments. But there are two parking spots available on the property itself. The apartment itself was spacious enouhg. It had a small fridge in the room with a complementary bottle of water. There are two outlets in the headboard of the bed, at least in room 1. There are restaurants and a bakery within a two minute walk. Furthermore it's close to the sea as well. It's on a bit less busier part of the island, what we liked. Close to PR8, which we highly recommend.

The bed was a bit hard for our liking, but this depends per person of course. The shower was a small, but the rest of the bathroom was spacious enough.

Cozy apartment with its own private shower and toilet, plus a nice balcony. Perfect for a relaxing stay- everything was comfortable and clean.

Everything was great overall - except just one small suggestion for the future: it would be nice to have hand soap already available in the room. After arriving from the airport or hike, the first thing you want to do is wash your hands, so having soap ready from the start would be a nice touch☺️

Dans l'appartement numéro 5 si vous faites plus d'1m80 il faudrait vous baisser pour passer les portes de la salle d'eau et de la terrasse. Car la chambre est sous les toits.

La modernité de l infrastructure et parking pour voiture

Exista aer conditionat - comentariul negativ de mai jos poate fi trecut cu vederea. Patul extrem de confortabil, aveam si frigider in camera. Balconul un mare plus. Localizarea foarte buna, mereu am gasit loc de parcare peste drum.

Exista un parc in zona iar adolescentii stau pana tarziu in noapte 1-2 astfel ca nu poti dormi cu usa deschisa la balcon.

L’emplacement, proche de la mer et la plage. La possibilité de se garer à l’intérieur. Les petites attentions ( café, eau )

It is near everything and the owners ask us is very helpful

We were not lucky enough to get the rooms with a balcony, but we were on the ground floor right in the parking lot, occupied by other guests, coming and going. Zero privacy, we were a bit disappointed, especially if the prices are the same of the other rooms…

Posizione ottima, struttura nuova e pulita, letti comodi. Bollitore in stanza.

La struttura non è assolutamente insonorizzata si sentono molto i rumori provenire dalle scale o dalla porta principale. Ho eseguito l'upgrade della stanza con vista mare ma ci sono rimasta male per il sovrapprezzo esagerato in quanto il mare si intravedeva solo di pochissimo. Non ne è valsa la pena.

La chambre était très propre, de même que la salle de bain. Le balcon était incroyable, nous y avons mangé de nombreuses fois. Le stationnement dans la rue était toujours disponible aux alentours de l’établissement. La cuisine partagée était géniale, avec tout l’équipement nécessaire pour cuisiner. Les propriétaires étaient très sympathiques et nous ont envoyé plusieurs recommandations très utiles par message. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter, c’était parfait! Merci encore!!

De locatie was heerlijk! Alles dichtbij en heel gezellige sfeer! Appartement/kamer was van alle gemakken voorzien. De host was ontzettend aardig en behulpzaam en gaf veel tips over de omgeving en restaurants.

De douche was wat klein van formaat, maar wel heel goede waterstraal.

Der Balkon, alles war unkompliziert, der Ort war mega süß. Es waren ausreichend Handtücher, Decken, Kühlschrank, Kaffee & Tee vorhanden.

Gezellig dorp. Goede ligging om het Oosten van het eiland te bezoeken. Bakker was schuin over het appartement. Goede ruimte om te koken of ontbijt klaar te maken. Alle vragen werden direct beantwoord door de eigenaar via de bookingapp.

Nog een koffieapparaat beneden in de ruimte waar je kan eten. Dat zou makkelijk zijn.

Great location, possible private parking in the property, huge bed, great shower. Scuba diving close by was amazing.

Chambre propre, la femme de chambre est passer 1 fois durant notre séjour c’était impeccable!! Vue sur mer avec un petit balcon que rêver de mieux pour le matin☀️

The bed was comfortable, the coffee machine with free coffee, a bottle of water, fridge in the room, and easy to park around.

Die Kommunikation mit Pedro war super! Check In easy. Gemeinachaftsküche tolle Sache und super ausgestattet. Wir hatten insgesamt eine gute Zeit in Canical bzw. in den Beach Apartment.

Wer Ruhe sucht ist hier falsch. Wir haben uns mit dem Straßenlärm, der Lautstärke von den umliegenden Kneipen aber auch den Nachbargeräuschen abgefunden, auch weil wir überwiegend am Wochenende dort gewohnt haben. Wer aber eine ruhige Unterkunft sucht ist hier falsch.

Die Lage ist toll. Der Balkon mit Blick zum Meer ist genial. Pedro war gut zu erreichen gab Tipps und half bei kurzweiligen WLAN Problemen.

Leider war ein sehr unangenehmer Schimmelgeruch sowohl im Schlafzimmer als auch im Bad. In der Dusche ist Schimmel an den Wänden. Zum abtrocknen der zur Verfügung gestellten Gläser wäre ein Geschirrhandtuch gut.

L'emplacement est top avec vue sur la mer. La maison est neuve et tout est très propre. On se gare facilement. Et les voies d'accès sont proches pour sillonner la région. Des commerces et restaurants sont à proximité. Caniçal reste un village authentique. Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour

Well signed, great communications from Pablo, key pick up, parking, bed and pillows, water pressure (this matters for women), felt like a safe location, my room was on the second floor so that was fantastic, great views and the bakery next door was great

This should not deter any visitor and doesn’t change my opinion about my great stay, but I would have liked hair conditioner, the walls are also very thin so when other visitors leave at 3am you can clearly hear it, some mini milks in the fridge would be great for coffee. I think the main thing and it did affect my stay a little bit, the room had a smell to it, like closed in/moist air (maybe just open windows more often to air it out).

Perfecte ligging, zonneterras met uitzicht op de haven. Steeds ( gratis ) openbare parking in de buurt. Veel eetgelegenheden én lekkere bakkerij in de buurt. Behulpzame eigenaar !

Vriendelijkheid host en personeel Hygiëne accomodatie

Niet echt iets. Wellicht een optie om in kamer 1 (waarin wij verbleven) een meer lichtdoorlatend (rol)gordijn te plaatsen. Doordat de kamer met de deuren naar de openbare weg ligt moesten wij ook overdag het licht aan als wij even geen inkijk wilden.

Das Haus steht an einem Platz mit Spielplatz, der am Abend von Jugendlichen zum Fußball spielen genutzt wird, und einer Straße, dadurch ist es bis in die Nacht recht laut. Bad ohne gute Belüftung. Aus dem Ausguss riecht es stark.

Wonderful, clean room! The owner was very attentive and polite, offering great recommendations for places and restaurants. We were delighted! We highly recommend it!

Initially, there was a problem with the internet, but thanks to the owner’s efforts and involvement, everything was resolved after some time.

Community was quaint, with nice people. Room was comfortable, spotless, modern. Bedding was so luxurious. Access to kitchen was very helpful.

Doors are a little loud and locks are finicky.

Sehr freundlicher, reaktionsschneller und sehr hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Das Appartement war sauber, mit einem sehr bequemen Bett und gute Ausstattung ( u.a Wasserkocher). Die Lage war sehr gut , alle Attraktionen problemlos mit dem Auto zu erreichen und einen Parkplatz konnte ich auch jederzeit in der Nähe finden.

Klein, aber fein. Sehr sauber und unkompliziert. Die Lage super, um abends in Caniçal essen zu gehen, morgens nebenan Brötchen zu holen und mit Blick aufs Meer. Wir hatten in der Nebensaison immer einen Parkplatz vor der Tür auf der Straße. Ein prima Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen im Osten der Insel. Unten gab es auch einen kleinen Gemeinschaftsraum mit Küche.

Small cozy room with private bathroom and terrace (mine was on the main square), it had everything I needed and was an ideal location to reach from the airport and to hike the Punta de Sao Lorenco. Very easy self check in. The common areas were cleaned daily and always spotless; I personally didn't have the chance to use the kitchen. Did enjoy to have a kettle and coffee machine in the room. All in all was a good stay.

Not very soundproof (but I mostly travel with earplugs so it was not a problem)

Mir hat das Zimmer sehr gut gefallen, tolle zentrale Lage, sehr gut und liebevoll ausgestattet. Pablo war sehr hilfsbereit und hat mir gute Tipps gegeben. Perfekter Gastgeber!

Gute Preis Leistung in Zentrum, das Bett komfortabel. Es gibt eine Küche extern war da nicht. Nur zu wissen es gibt kein Parkplatz oder es gibt wurde aber mir nicht zu Verfügung gestellt, habe auch nicht gefragt weil ich in der Nahe kostenfrei Stelle gefunden habe.

Wie gesagt kein Parkplatz, das Fernsehen ist alt keine Mirroring Funktion kein Smart-TV falls jemand für so etwas interesiert ist.

Lage sehr am östlichen Zipfel der Insel an einem Hafen. Mein Apartment (mit kleinem Kühlschrank im Zimmer und geteilter Küche) war sehr modern ausgestattet (insb. das Badezimmer). Alles funktionierte einwandfrei und war top sauber. In der unmittelbaren Umgebung befinden sich viele öffentliche Parkflächen, ein kleiner Supermarkt, ein Bäcker und diverse Fischrestaurants. Danke an Pedro, den Gastgeber, für die Empfehlungen. Die Kommunikation mit ihm war überhaupt sehr nett und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war hervorragend. Vielen Dank für den angenehmen Aufenthalt!!

The place was spotlight, high standard finish, lovely view and very secure. Pedro was an excellent host and responded quickly to any queries or minor issues. Highly recommend, there's a large shard kitchen/TV area , great for a few staying in sept rooms to hang out and eat together. There's 5 double rooms as far as I'm aware, each with their own balconies.

The bar across the road is a popular place for locals to hang out chatting quite loudly into the early hours so hard to sleep if you have an early start.

Świetny kontakt z właścicielem. Pomoże z każdym zapytaniem czy problemem 👏❤️Dostępny, bardzo dobrze wyposażony aneks kuchenny. Widok z apartamentu z balkonem na zatokę i góry. Wokół blisko do barów, restauracji, kościoła, piekarni, plaży i postoju taksówek. Poza sezonem urlopowym bardzo cicho (nawet w karnawale). Polecam wynająć auto - można zaparkować za darmo na miejscach wyznaczonych białymi pasami. Pokój czysty, przestronny, dostępny ekspres na kapsułki, czajnik i różne herbaty. W czasie dłuższego pobytu pokój jest sprzątany. Dla osób wysokich (niestety tak było w naszym przypadku) mogą być kłopotliwe skosy znajdujące się w pokoju jak i w łazience (nad umywalka). Budynek świeżo remontowany, natomiast widać już delikatne zużycie, styl nowoczesny, dużo szarości i mało kwiatów czy kolorów. Ogólnie bardzo dobra baza wypadowa na szlak świętego Wawrzyńca. Poza wielkim miastem a wszystko co potrzebne pod ręką.

Brak wentylacji na klatce schodowej co można było wyczuć każdorazowo przy wychodzeniu z pokoju czy wchodzeniu do budynku. Chyba okien na korytarzu nawet nie da się otworzyć.

Es liegt mitten im Ort, ist ganz neu gebaut und sehr gut eingerichtet.Der Scglüssel liegt in einer Box und alles hat prima geklappt.

I had a wonderful stay at SAL-Beach Apartments Caniçal. I truly appreciated the host upgrading my room — it made the experience even more special. The view was absolutely stunning, overlooking the entire Caniçal coastline, and the room itself was very pleasant, comfortable, and well maintained.

There was honestly nothing I didn’t like; everything exceeded my expectations. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and I would happily return.

Clean and nice building and room. Quite, close to everything. Bed was really comfortable. The host was very nice and wanted to make sure everything was fine, plus they helped me with suggestions and info on restaurants and places around.

First aid kit in the restroom was already used and not replaced. I’ve told that to the property. Apart from that everything was good.

This trip was part of our honeymoon, and we stayed here for a week. It’s an unforgettable feeling when you truly feel welcomed and expected. Overall, it was a pleasure to stay in the town. By the third day, it already felt like home — everyone greeted us warmly and treated us with such kindness. The people here are truly wonderful.

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja. Dookoła jest wiele miejsc parkingowych, można też zaparkować na ulicy bezpośrednio przy budynku. Plusem jest restauracja i piekarnia w odległości kilku metrów od apartamentu. Pokój w dobrym standardzie, zadbany i czysty.
