Location perfect for exploring Leiden

Although the bedroom window was on the ground floor and on the street, the soundproofing was perfect, and I could not hear a sound.

Very good location in a residential area, close to Peter church,the botanical gardens..Enough space for two persons . The canal and flowers make great first impression of city of Leiden. The host is very attentive and kept in contact via texting . It is easy to walk to city center and restaurants..

The open windows allowed mosquitoes in ,.

Het appartement is uitstekend gelegen in het hart van het centrum. Het is smaakvol ingericht, volledig uitgerust en biedt alle comfort voor een aangenaam verblijf. De eigenaars zijn bijzonder vriendelijk en gastvrij. Wij raden dit appartement dan ook van harte aan aan iedereen die graag Leiden wil ontdekken.

The sliding bathroom door was a bit difficult to slide

Cooking was a bit difficult. A refrigerator and a skillet would have been helpful.

Location was really good.

Even though the weather was mild, apartment felt cold. It was set on a low heating setting. When we would boost it, it would take over an hour to obtain a comfortable temperature by which time we would be ready to leave or go to bed. Suggest to provide disposable slippers due to the cold floors. Also at this price a few touches like conditioner or body lotion would have been nice.

Prachtig ingericht, top locatie, vriendelijke host die ook tips gaf om ons verblijf nog aangenamer te maken.

Appartement gelegen aan het water , rustig . Dicht bij het centrum. Mooie en gezellige inrichting. Van alle gemakken voorzien. We zijn goed onrvangen.

Eine sehr geschmackvolle Wohnung in einer sehr schönen Gegend von Leiden. Es war sehr angenehm dass die Unterkunft ebenerdig zugänglich war und man davor ein - und ausladen durfte. Die Parkgarage „Garenmarkt“ ist sehr empfehlenswert und nur 5 Gehminuten entfernt. Die Eigentümer sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man kann sich nur wohlfühlen!

Erg ruim appartement, benedenwoning, aan de singel. Op loopafstand van het centrum. Dichtbij een paar prima restaurants en goede (Friese) bakker. Rustige locatie. Vriendelijk welkom, op ons verzoek een uurtje eerder dan normaal omdat we door omstandigheden extra rust nodig hadden. Leuk om onze net gekochte vinyl platen te kunnen beluisteren op de platenspeler.

Thermostaat niet zelf te bedienen. Ook al reageerde de gastheer snel op berichten we regelen de temperatuur liever zelf. Met een goede handleiding moet dat mogelijk zijn. Gehorig in huis, oa een blaffende hond Ontbijt en minibar te duur (niet gebruikt), maar gelukkig een supermarkt en bakker op loopafstand.

Die Lage ist sensationell und das Haus bzw die Wohnung an sich sehr schön.

Very spacious and comfortable apartment in a fine location in Leiden. Martijn was a wonderful host, friendly and accommodating and we thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay.

Traumhafte Lage, netter Empfang durch einen sehr hilfsbereiten und aufmerksamen Gastgeber und ein wunderschönes Ambiente, das für die richtige Atmosphäre im Urlaub gesorgt hat. Tolle Wohnung mit schicker, aber gemütlicher Einrichtung, in der man sich sehr wohlfühlen kann. Parkplatz vor der Tür.

Perfecte plek en heerlijk ruim appartement met alle faciliteiten. Zeer sfeervol en vriendelijke host.

Echt genoten van ons verblijf hier. Ze doen er alles aan om het je comfortabel te maken. Heel erg bedankt en ik hoop dat er nog veel blije gasten mogen verblijven.

Voor twee nachten geboekt ivm onze trouwdag in Leiden! Vantevoren al leuk contact gehad en echt een fantastisch mooi ingericht appartement. De eerste blik gehad in het appartement zelf en alle fotos zijn een plaatje geworden. En als kers op de taart stond er na onze bruiloft een fles champagne met aardbeien klaar! Ik kan alleen maar bedanken voor het fijne contact en het mooier maken van onze speciale dag! 100% een aanrader voor iedereen die Leiden wil ontdekken maar zeker ook voor alle toekomstige bruidsparen die nog even wat langer in hun bubbel willen blijven zitten .

Beautifully decorated with so many special touches that made our stay wonderful. Fantastic location, and Marry and Martijn are very kind and easy to communicate with. Highly recommended!

Außergewöhnlich geschmackvoll und hochwertig eingerichtete Wohnung in ruhiger, aber noch zentraler Lage. Kleiner begrünter Patio, bei Bedarf mit Sprühnebel zur Abkühlung. Besonderes Highlight: Sonos Sound System und ein Plattenspieler mit guter Vinyl-Auswahl.

Die Fenster im Schlafzimmer lassen sich leider nicht öffnen, so dass die Belüftung schwierig ist.

Die technische Ausstattung was das Entertainment betrifft ist hervorragend.

Die Schiebetür zum Raum in dem sich die Dusche befindet lässt sich nicht bewegen und steht immer auf und die Klinke zum WC fällt fasst raus und die Tür lässt sich nicht abschließen. Das Patio könnte auch etwas mehr Pflege erfahren und gelegentlich vom Laub befreit werden. Das Schlafzimmer lässt sich nicht lüften, weil das Bett direkt vor den Fenstern steht. Ein richtiger Kühlschrank wäre auch besser als der Weinkühlschrank.

It is spacious with high quality furnishings that exhibit a design sense. The courtyard is a plus.

We were not inclined to cook meals, but preparing substantial meals would be challenged by a lack of basic provisions and a small refrigerator.

The location of the property was excellent. Close enough to walk everywhere but on a very quiet neighbourhood. Cafes and restaurants were very close as were a supermarket and other shops - bakery, deli etc. The apartment was very comfortable and well furnished with lovely touches such as great music available.

Both the door to the toilet and shower area needed fixing.

Great host/owners who were incredibly accommodating with our late arrival and later check out than planned. Superb location in Leiden.

Could have had a 'proper' / colder fridge.

A fantastic property in a lovely part of Leiden. The apartment has everything you need for an extended stay. The hosts were super friendly and answered all our questions promptly. The outdoor area was a real bonus.

Meeting personally the host and getting introduction. All the nice presentation of information and welcome presents.

From the moment we were met by Martijn until we hand back the key Martijn, we were made most welcome. Any minor questions were dealt with.

Stylish, spacious and well located on the edge of Leiden’s wonderful historic quarter.

We arrived in a cold spell of January weather and it took an eternity to warm up. The owner was very attentive and sorted this out with centrally but it was uncomfortable to start with. There was also a very very annoying yappy dog somewhere!

Super confortable flat ideally located. Leiden is beautiful as well. Attentive hosts. The flat is beautifully decorated and everything works perfectly.

One of the nicest places I've ever stayed. The apartment was beautifully decorated, well-equipped and comfortable.

Host is a wonderful and attending the issues if any within no time.

Martijn is a Super Host: very friendly, communicated freely, answered all our questions. The fantastic apartment is ideally situated within walking distance of almost all of beautiful Leiden's attractions. Only 11 Km from the beach.

The location, the decor, and both Marry and Martyn were lovely to deal with. We love staying in that area of Leiden as it isn’t in the midst of bars on busy celebratory nights in the city but close enough to easily go celebrate!
