WALO APARTMENTS TROMSDALEN - Close to cable car and Arctic Cathedral, 10 min by bus to city centre, Free parking

- It has a supermarket and bus stop close by, but the bus stop is pretty much only served by line 26 which takes a relatively long detour to get there, and is full of tourists because it's the way to get to the cable car - It's only around 12 minutes walking distance to the beginning of the Sherpatrappa

- The walls/ceiling seems to be very thin. Whenever the upstairs neighbor even just walked or turned on their TV, it was very loudly audible. - The equipment of the apartment often felt uncomfortable or cheap, for example the 2 chairs in the kitchen were not comfortable to sit on - Because it's located on the ground floor and the main windows point towards the street, you can't have the curtains open without anyone walking by on the street seeing directly into the apartment, and all windows can only be opened a little bit, meaning in the summer, if it's too warm in the apartment you have to either leave all the windows open and the curtains at least somewhat up for many hours, or leave the front door open. That's one of the reasons I just felt uncomfortable staying here. - I didn't like the look of the inside of the apartment, it looked better in the pictures, and from the outside it looks like as if the building wasn't actually fully finished being built, for example there's some panneling missing around the windows.

Apartament był kompletnie wyposażony – dosłownie na wszystko było tam miejsce i sprzęt, więc czuliśmy się jak w domu, a nie jak w tymczasowym noclegu. Świetnie sprawdził się też w gorsze dni, kiedy mogliśmy odpocząć przed telewizorem, a wifi działało bez zarzutu przez cały pobyt. Do tego kontakt z gospodarzami przez wiadomości na Booking był błyskawiczny i bardzo miły, a lokalizacja – blisko przystanku komunikacji miejskiej i sklepem tuż obok. Z okna mieliśmy piękny widok na kolejkę Fjellheisen i góry, co robiło niesamowite wrażenie.

Very cosy room. There was everything you need for long weekend trip. Eurospar and bus stop was in 3 minutes so very convenient.

The only downside was it gets very slippery when the streets get ice so need to be careful.

Tout y est parfait. Bus à la porte pour se rendre en ville. Téléphérique à quelques minutes à pied, équipement au top, avec les ingrédients de base pour cuisiner. Merci!

Amazing stay at WALO Apartments Tromsdalen! The apartment was spacious, clean, and had everything I needed. I even saw the Northern Lights from my bedroom window – incredible! The location is perfect: just 150 meters to the bus stop and a grocery store nearby. I really liked the small candles provided, which added a cozy touch, and I even bought some larger ones for the lamps myself. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. Overall, a great apartment with a fantastic view and convenient location. I’d definitely recommend it!

A few small things could be improved: the frying pan is quite old and everything sticks, making it hard to cook anything. It would also be nice to have at least a basic shampoo and a bit more soap, as the small amount provided wasn’t really enough so I had to mix it with water. If there’s a temperature change outside, it would be helpful to leave some sand to sprinkle on the path by the entrance, otherwise it can get very slippery.

The location was perfect, close to a supermarket and the bus back to the airport. The walk to the centre of town is about 20-25 minutes and the views are stunning. The apartment itself is great, very clean and has all the amenities you could need. (The bed is also incredibly comfortable!). (Heating is also perfect!) I would definitely stay here again.

A warm, private and well equipped apartment with a really comfortable bed in a peaceful and ideal residential location away from the hustle and bustle of Tromso. Spent a lot of time watching the Aurora from the mountain via cable car. Walked everywhere else. Supermarket close by, shut on Sundays. Sushi takeaway is a bonus. The owner was really accommodating and flexible. So far this is my favourite place to stay on Tromso.

Gemütliche, saubere und sehr gut ausgestattete Wohnung und toller, ruhiger Lage! 3 Laufminuten zum Supermarkt, Bushaltestellen mit schneller Anbindung an die Innenstadt. Wir sind auch gerne in 25 Minuten ins Zentrum gelaufen. Eiskathedrale und Seilbahn auf den Hausberg in unmittelbarer Nähe. Parkplatz mit Lademöglichkeit für e-Auto. Freundliche und perfekte Kommunikation und Abwicklung mit dem Wohnungsvermieter!

Die Gegend war super, dass Bett richtig gemütlich und alles da was gebraucht oder nicht gebraucht wird. Top ausgestattet.

Todo 10/10. No esta en el centro pero hay un bus que en 10 minutos estás en el centro.

Sehr schöne, geräumige Wohnung für zwei Personen mit gemütlicher und moderner Einrichtung. Der Check-In mittels Türcode war sehr komfortabel und einfach und der Samsung-TV lässt auch keine Wünsche offen. Die Lage lädt zu Wanderungen im Tal ein, man ist aber auch sehr gut an die Stadt angebunden und kann diese sogar in 20 Minuten zu Fuß erreichen. Einen Supermarkt gibt es in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Wir hätten uns gewünscht, dass auf die lokale Mülltrennung hingewiesen und diese beachtet wird. Mit einer Kur Anleitung wäre dies für alle zumutbar und man tut etwas Gutes für die Umwelt. In der Küche gab es leider keinen Messbecher und, für einen norwegischen Haushalt sehr ungewöhnlich, keinen Käsehobel. Damit könnte die Ausstattung nich sinnvoll ergänzt werden.

Gemütliche Wohnung, schön dekoriert. Großes Bad mit Waschmaschine. Breiter Parkplatz direkt vor der Wohnung. Ruhige Lage, Stadt ist zu Fuß oder mit Bus gut erreichbar. Supermarkt ganz in der Nähe.

Det fanns allt som man behöver och lite till. Disk och tvättmaskin. Man kunde känna sig som hemma. Till och med matvaror i skåpet. Nära mataffär.Absolut toppen. Bästa sängen.

På övervåningen hördes som att en elefant gick på natten. Omöjligt att sova. Golvet måste göras om.

A lovely apartment that was quiet and well appointed. Bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room to unpack and dry out clothes from skiing. Kitchen was well stocked and the apartment was within walking distance of a grocery store. Easy to get to, parking was in front and our stay was perfect. Hosts were understanding when we asked to do a late check out due to flight delays. Very grateful.

Getting the keys was slightly difficult - lack of light and our unfamiliarity with the type of lock box. Once we got it figured out there was no problem. A motion light might be nice at the front door to help see the numbers on the box - we used our phone light.

Nice location for walking to the cable car, Arctic Cathedral, supermarket and the bus stop going to city & airport. House is enough warn to dress T-shirt only furnishing the ecectric heating in the living & bed room and floor heating on the bathroom.

It's was dark without light in fornt of mirror on the washroom when I set up my face and hair.

We had an amazing stay at this apartment! It’s beautifully designed, cosy, and had everything ready and waiting for us upon arrival, which made us feel instantly at home. The location is excellent – with public transport and a grocery store just around the corner, everything we needed was within easy reach. The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and perfect for our needs. We were very satisfied and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay!

The apartment was clean, cozy with a fully equipped kitchen(except for a washing machine and a microwave). The host was very accomodating and gave us guidelines on how to reach the property. Check-in & Check-out was very smooth. We stayed for 4 nights and although the weather was not very favorable for outdoor activities, we managed to see the northern lights from the apartment (sheer luck and destiny). The apartment is in proximity to the bus stop (Bus No. 26 from and to the airport and the city center). The Artic Cathedral and Cable Car are at walking distance. A very peaceful and beautiful neighborhood. An economical supermarket Eurostar is just opposite the bus stop from where we bought our commodities and enjoyed it while relaxing at the apartment. The weather being favorable for staying indoors, we were able to enjoy movie time together. By the time, we left the apartment it almost felt like home. We definitely recommend this place for guests looking for a peaceful stay and for spending some quality time with your partner.

There is nothing to dislike about the place or the apartment (perhaps a washing machine may help guests staying for longer period and a microwave will be more convenient for heating cold food items)

Quite new appartment, vert quiet, close to the artic cathedral, reasonable walking distance to city center through the bridge. Excellent choice if you don't want to be in the tourists flow in town. A shop nearby very practicle with huge choice. And also a bus stop very close if you need it to go downtown. And of course free parking. Owner very réactive to any request.
