Our only let-down was the lack of maintenance regarding cleaning services. We stayed for 4 days and were disappointed that no cleaning service was provided during our stay.

Reviewed Dec 31, 2024This is an ideal self check in hotel! Check in and out was very easy, and made very pleasant by the friendly owner and Zimabli lakes admin staff. Directions and instructions were very easy. During our stay, we felt comfortable, at ease and most importantly safe. Lula has provided all the essential items required, and additional creature comforts to make you feel at home - which is much appreaciated! (free wifi; major streaming services; tea; coffee; even a welcome treat and travel vanity pack; etc)
Unfortunately there is no balcony for this unit, but is very understandable due to the location. It should be noted that the accomodation is very clean, and comfortable and a balcony should not be a deal breaker considering all the other positive aspects!

Only one set of towels for 2 people. No pool towels provided Bathroom extractor fan quite noisy but got used to it. The apartment feels quite dark later in the day. Although no fault of the owner, we experienced multiple power outages and had no warning about it beforehand Tedious process to obtain security access (in a completely separate location, could be explained more clearly before arrival

The directions are incorrect on Bookings.com possibly if there is a way to correct them, or they be given earlier than an hr before check in. I got lost as I used the booking.com directions, while my host had shared directions while I was driving..... So I didn't see them in time
