My Quiet Place at The Beacon - Makati City

The property were clean and neat. The environment was lively and relaxing. Overall, it was great.

The wifi was slow, the tv isn't working, and the knives were dull.

The view, bed and aircon were nice! It has a nice position although the entrance to the tower was a bit hard to find, but the service was excellent and the owner made sure to stay in contact with us before and during the stay. It was all clean when we arrived, we found towels, a hair dryer and all the supplies to use the kitchen (although we didn’t need it). Everything was good!

The water heater for the shower was a bit difficult to use and it reached 55°C while I was in it. 😅 So I did cold showers instead. The Smart TV was a bit difficult to use, so although we tried it, we gave up after an hour or so. Additionally, sometimes the Wifi didn’t work but that’s it.

The location, close to restaurants, supermarket/mall. The place was quiet, no noise. Staff were great and helpful. The host was wonderful and very helpful. The unit was very clean. No roaches.

I had a great stay! The condo unit was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Complete amenities. The location was convenient, and the host, Sir Lemm was friendly and responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

Had a wonderful and quiet stay here. The unit owner Lemm was kind, and ensured that everything was smooth and convenient for me - from check-in to check-out. I appreciate that he had the initiative to message me after I made my booking, and was very easy to communicate with since. He provided clear and detailed info about my stay, about shops and good restaurants within the area. There are 24/7 convenience stores and laundry shops so close by. I liked that the room had a cabinet with hangers, and had proper tables and chairs to set up my laptop and place my things. Wish I could've stayed longer to enjoy all the amenities available. Next time!

My stay got off to a difficult start due to a six-hour power interruption on the first night (10:00 PM to 4:00 AM). The lack of power made the room uncomfortably hot and impossible to sleep in. It was disappointing to learn from the security staff that the building’s backup generators were non-functional during this time. While I understand power outages can be external issues, the lack of a working backup system significantly impacted the comfort of my stay.

Bardzo udany pobyt. Gospodarz był niezwykle miły, pomocny i komunikatywny, dzięki czemu od samego początku czuliśmy się mile widziani. Pokój spełnił nasze oczekiwania – był komfortowy, funkcjonalny i dobrze wyposażony. Dużym atutem była również świetna lokalizacja, która ułatwiała poruszanie się po okolicy. Na miejscu dostępne były wszystkie niezbędne udogodnienia, w tym prysznic, suszarka do włosów, a także dobrze wyposażony aneks kuchenny. Do dyspozycji gości była lodówka, mikrofalówka, czajnik, kuchenka, okap kuchenny oraz komplet szklanek i sztućców. Dzięki temu pobyt był bardzo wygodny i pozwalał na samodzielne przygotowanie posiłków. Z przyjemnością wrócilibyśmy tu ponownie i bez wahania polecamy to miejsce innym podróżnym.

建物の世帯数に対してエレベーターの数が少ない印象がありわりと待たされる事が気になりました。

Sicuramente l'host Lemm, anche se può capitare di non incontrarlo è costantemente disponibile per qualsiasi tipo di informazione e sempre di grande aiuto e utilità . Da rendere il check in molto semplice a consigliare ristoranti e quant'altro in zona e tanto altro ancora. Ci avrebbe anche concesso un late check out gratuito se non ci fosse stato un nuovo arrivo previsto proprio per l'orario del check-in. Alla fine abbiamo avuto il piacere di incontrarlo e di conoscere la bella persona che è. La possibilità di usare la palestra e la piscina. I tramonti visti dal terrazzo all'ultimo piano della struttura di 48 piani. Le aree relax in comune del condominio, sia quella vicino alla piscina che quella all'ultimo piano. Ping pong, sempre nell'area comune vicino alla piscina. Ristoranti, bar cafè e supermercati nei dintorni. Vicino all'aereoporto Internazionale molto pratico e veloce da raggiungere. Di sicuro un buon punto di appoggio per i soggiorni a Manila

In casa a volte si sente un odore strano e forte molto probabilmente dovuto alla gestione condominiale dei rifiuti, infatti lo stesso odore sembra partire proprio dal corridoio che conduce all'appartamento. Purtroppo non c'è la possibilità di depositare i bagagli da qualche parte nella struttura nel caso si arrivasse prima dell'orario check-in o, nel caso, anche dopo il checkout. Sempre che la tua prenotazione si incastri con quelle degli altri ospiti, altrimenti Lemm è sempre disposto ad aiutarti lasciandoti usare l'appartamento anche oltre o prima degli orari prestabiliti.

El lugar esta muy bien, es comodo, iluminado y limpio. La piscina y el gym son buenos,el condominio es seguro y tranquilo, los ascensores un poco demorados. La ubicación buena, cerca al aeropuerto y facil de enonctrar en grab. Sin duda lo mejor es el anfitrion, un hombre muy amable. Volvería a quedarme aqui si regreso a manila. Gracias por la hospitalidad.

Cosy apartment room within walking distance to many restaurants, convenience stores and parks. WiFi was very strong. Lemm was very accommodating with everything and gave us plenty of suggestions of places to eat and visit. Views from the sky roof are pretty spectacular.

The elevators always took a very long time to arrive but it’s what you expect from such a tall building!

Appartement situé dans un condo en bordure du quartier Makati. Pas mal de commodités aux abords du complexe (supermarché, marché de fruits et légumes à quelques rues), zone d'arrêt pour les taxis ce qui est pratique. L'appartement est correct, pas grand mais suffisant pour un transit. Les hôtes sont rapides pour la communication pour le check-in (self check-in au bureau de sécurité du condo). Très proche de l'aéroport (20 minutes avec un Grab par la speedway, environ 300 PHP).

La propreté n'était pas parfaite (salle de bain / toilettes...) mais correcte. Dans le condo, il y a 4 ascenseurs pour accéder aux quarante et quelques étages où vivent des gens: ça donne des files d'attentes pour monter et descendre, pas très pratique. Ambiance très sécuritaire dans le condo (peut être nécessaire pour Manille mais un peu déconcertante pour des voyageurs européens)

The unit was clean, tidy, and had all the basic amenities for a short stay. The location is excellent with plenty of restaurants and essential shops. Finally, the host was extremely nice and helpful.

The elevator wait time can be occasionally inconvenient, but it’s not a dealbreaker.

Everything was perfect. The place is well located, well equipped, the internet works fast and there are amazing views from the roof deck. The host is super friendly and responsive and I could even check out late due to my evening flight. Highly recommended place!

Host gave me invaluable information about Manilla, Makiti. My first time in Manilla and the information given was 1st hand. Would definitely recommend and would be happy to visit again.

Lifts can be a little busy but to be expected with the size of the building. Pool is in the shade most of the day, but that can be refreshing from the heat. Wouldn't hesitate to revisit.

Not enough supplies in the kitchen. Weird interaction with the host sending a new list of rules the day of arrival banning alcohol in the unit. I asked why this was not posted on booking.com and he said it was a joke. But there were 2 rules explicitly banning alcohol. I get saying no parties but being on vacation and told I can’t have a beer was odd. Check in process took over 30 minutes with far too many questions after a 14 hour flight

Todo cómodo y correcto

The unit owner personally met us and showed us around the building facilities, give us tips of nearby places to go, give us important infos before check in time and he is very friendly, kind and accomodating.. The stay is all good, I would wish a bigger and thicker blanket would make it perfect! This is a budget friendly accomodation and would absolutely recommend this place to others too.

The place is located on the main road, making it very accessible to restaurants and public transportation. It’s in a secure building, so we felt safe throughout our stay. The apartment is clean, quiet, and modern, with excellent facilities including a sauna, pool, and gym. The internet connection was fast and reliable, communication with the host was smooth, and the space was very comfortable overall. We did experience a small issue during our stay, but the owner was very considerate and accommodating, which we truly appreciated. Highly recommend!

Great appartment, close to the airport by car and in the safe district of Macati. The studio was great, quiet, and in a nice building with good facilities. The ownerwas very nice and the communication easy.

+ It's a small flat in a high building with 24h concierge - check in was straight forward. Also we were accommodated for late check in because of our flight times. Good location in a safe neighbourhood. Can hop on jeepneys in front of the building for quick connection to LTR trains. Good eating options around + large mall just across the road. Building has a pool and good views from rooftop. Good wifi and quiet. Very responsive and helpful owner. Overall good value for money. - Bathroom was not too clean. There's all you need for simple cooking, except a knife that would cut anything beyond butter.

Modern, simple, clean, top internet and great features of the apartment complex (sauna, gym, pool)

The place was a quiet and peaceful one indeed. I had good nights' rest for the whole duration of my stay. Lemm provided clean and pleasant-smelling linens and towels. The kitchenette has the utilities that I needed - kettle, ref, glasses for water/fruit juices, cups for coffee, spoon and fork, bowls, and plates. Since the purpose of my stay is to work from home, fast internet enough to support video/conference calls is a must. There was just a hiccup from the internet provider but Lemm was quick to respond and coordinated with them to have it fixed ASAP. I'm also monitoring my health goals of at least 4500 steps per day and this place offers a jog area and a pool on the 6F. You'll have both the city view and a touch of nature as you follow the jogging path. On top of these complete amenities, Lemm is a great host, who welcomed me warmly to their family's home. He's always quick to respond to my queries and made sure that I'm comfortable all throughout my stay.

I only stayed for 11 hours on transit through manila. the room is not large but adequate. the pool looked nice. view from the observation deck was good. the host was extremely pro active with providing information. would like to have stayed longer.

I like to stay at the Beacon when I'm in Manila. There is a fairly decent gym, a nice swimming pool, and many convenience stores, restaurants and cafes on the premises, plus a mall, laundry shops, and even a great second hand bookstore with some gems nearby (google Book Sale). It's at the borders of Makati, so it's a bit cheaper than the core Makati area but still walking distance from it. The location is perfectly connected to the airport (20 minues by grab) so you won't risk missing your flight. Apartment 1408 Tower 2 has good wifi and AC, and a desk to work at your laptop.

The apartment wasn't very clean (photos attached), and there was an unpleasant smell that could be made more tolerable by turning on the AC and changing the air.
