The bathroom cleanliness could be better. The shower room door is moldy.

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026Very modern, comfortable, love how both rooms had access to their own bathroom. One room with 2 single room had a door to the main bathroom like it was an ensuite, and the main room had its own ensuite, there was a heater to use for the garage so we could be out there doing washing and drying washing in the warm. The only thing was the free $25 they received, and I say free because it’s non refundable, so even if we didn’t damage anything and made sure the home was spotless we wouldn’t get it back so it should just be added to the price of the room which is very annoying. Other than that one of my fav places to stay yet.

Reviewed Feb 28, 2026Excellent location. House was great and had everything we needed for two nights. Loved the kitchen, mahalo for providing cooking oil (big plus for travelers). We loved the outdoor table and yard space. Very grateful for the washer & dryer. The ping pong table was super fun :)

Suggestion for softer mattress, would've been good to have had spare towels, some face cloths and there was no bathroom matt in the main bathroom. We still enjoyed our stay.

Had bit of washing so the washing machine and dryer was very convenient and I did use also the washing line at outside of was was left of the evening sun. I liked how the accommodation is just a 2 min walk to the local dairy just next door and also the bakery to your liking.. very convenient. Also had had the laundromat next to the dairy shop if you didnt want to use the whiteware at the accommodation . Big t.v. screen all the kitchen facilities as said this house is very modern. Thank you to the hosts. Loved my stay 10/10

Hidden of non refundable security assurance fee of NZD50 which is not mentioned during my booking. But I choose to charge my credit card NZD200 as full refundable security deposit instead. 😔😔

Could do with some winter blankets or an electric blanket on the beds as the heat pump doesn't heat the rooms as well so can get chilly. Also just normal coffee not pod coffee not everyone likes that coffee.

Response within minutes, great communication, such a pleasure, stress free, fabulous interaction. We would 150% recommend this stunning beauty. And look forward to staying in the very near future.
We have no complaints, only regret is that we only stay 3nights, next time we will stay longer.

3pm seems like a late check-in time compared to the more standard 2pm and there was no flexibility around an early check-in request. This could put me off renting this apartment again even though the rest of it was great.

Reviewed Mar 28, 2025What a lovely, tidy place! We are a family of 4 with 2 under 5 and had enough room for everyone. Great facilities and conveniently next to a small block of shops. Loved the small attention to detail to accommodate for kids such as the kids' cutlery and toys. High chair available but didn't need to use it. Had a cot available but didn't notice sheets or blankets for it, but it could have been my oversight. I had brought my own ones just in case anyway. Property is away from the road but isn't fully fenced, which could be a downside for some people with young children. Otherwise, it's a really nice place to stay and would definitely stay again or recommend it to others. 🙂
