Comme annoncé, il y a bien un parking mais payant et uniquement sous réservation, nous avons dû nous rabattre sur un parking public. La chambre est vétuste et manque d'équipement : pas de machine à café, pas de clim mais un ventilateur très bruyant. impossibilité d'obtenir un double des clés. Salle de bain minuscule, sommaire et à l'hygiène plus que douteuse (moisissures sur les joints et le bas du lavabo entre autres). Indigne d'un 3 étoiles et du prix demandé.

Reviewed Sep 12, 2026Bett und Matratze waren gut. Lage sehr gut! Empfang war nicht aller erste Sahne! Frühstück war gut, Personal auch! Zimmer wurden gut gemacht!
Dusche war sehr alt! Duschkopf musste ich zuerst aufschreiben weil das Wasser überall rauslief! Aufhängung hat auch nicht gehalten! Sicher das älteste Zimmer wo das Hotel noch hatte! Haben andere Zimmer angeschaut, Bessere Duschen usw.

Leider war mein Aufenthalt enttäuschend. Die Mitarbeitenden am Empfang wirkten unmotiviert und unfreundlich, was keinen guten ersten Eindruck hinterließ. Das Frühstück war durchschnittlich und rechtfertigte den hohen Preis nicht. Selbst die renovierten Zimmer wirken veraltet und wenig einladend. Zudem waren die Terrassen geschlossen und die Bar wurde nicht bewirtschaftet, was das Gesamterlebnis weiter beeinträchtigte.

The hotel is quite dated and the bathroom fixtures did not work well. The shower especially was not great. As well the hotel staff at checkout were not attentive and at one point quite rude.

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026The location of the hotel is great and easily accessible with public transport. I had a wonderful view from my balcony and having paid extra for the air conditioning, made sure to use it!
I felt the rooms for the price were a bit below par, having paid a significant extra to have air conditioning. I didn't opt for breakfast at 24 francs a day, which felt quite expensive. My biggest issue however was on the first morning the male cleaner entered my bedroom without knocking whilst I was still in bed. My key was in the door from the inside, so he had to push the lock quite hard to do so. He did apologise and leave and when I told reception, they advised he was new. I'd like to believe it was an honest mistake, but as a solo female traveller it did make me feel quite uneasy for the rest of my stay.

- Personne à la réception lors de notre arrivée pas particulièrement sympathique ni avenante - Pas de possibilité de faire un late check-out (ou plutôt: la personne a la réception ne pouvait pas le décider elle-même, or son ou sa supérieur était absent/e) - Pas d'air conditionné dans la chambre, simplement un ventilateur. Pas idéal en période de canicule! - Prix de la nuit élevé par rapport à la qualité, mais c'était pendant le Montreux Jazz, donc certainement pas représentatif des tarifs classiques.

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Das Hotel hat sehr schön gestaltete Aufenthaltsräume in der Lobby und überhaupt viel Charme eines alten Hotels. Es ist nah am See. Zudem eine Bushaltestelle direkt vor der Tür , wodurch man schnell zu Sehenswürdigkeiten wie der Villa Lac, dem Schloss Chillon oder der Drahtseilbahn nach Glion kommt. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und ich bekam kostenlos ein größeres Zimmer mit Balkon. Ich kann es nur empfehlen. Das Frühstück war gut und die Cocktails wie auch das Essen im Restaurant sehr gut.

Pas facile de se garer près de l'hôtel. On a mis notre voiture au Parking du marché sous les halles près du lac, en négociant un abonnement de 3 jours poyr 100Chf avec entrées sorties libres. Moins cher que 47 Chf par jour... le sujet Parkings en Suisse c'est parf compliqué.

No aircon... and a particularly hot evening. Also, I purchased the accommodation many months in advance and appreciate that it is a busy festival time but the hotel room cost was ridiculously overpriced. My choice, of course, to book in the end!

The rooms are clean and comfortable, although the superior rooms might offer a little more luxury. The communal areas are very nice, including a super terrace on the first floor and there’s a popular restaurant next door.
The casino opposite has a very good atmosphere but that might not suit some people who have a weakness in that way!

z.T. sehr unfreundliches Personal , unmotiviert und desinteressiert. Frühstück sollte bei einem unverhältnismässig teuren Einzelzimmerpreis von CHF 250.00!! inbegriffen sein. Der Preis vom Frühstück war ebenfalls absolut überrissen, das Angebot sehr spartanisch. Das Zimmer war zwar neu renoviert. Leider schmutzig. Zudem sehr schlechtes Licht im Bad, keine Ablagefläche für Toilettenartikel. insgesamt war das Einzelzimmer extrem klein. 90 cm Bett ist ja noch ok aber die Minibar unmittelbar neben dem Kopfteil des Bettes war eine Zumutung!

Нам предоставили ее в соседнем доме в паркинге (за доп.плату). Номер немного требует косметического ремонта, но в целом все было хорошо.
