Reviewed Sep 19, 2026The staff are great. Everyone were friendly and helpful. The location is at the train station and an easy walk to the lake. There is also safe undercover parking.
No air-conditioning. It was warm and humid during our stay and we had a bad night sleep.

Reviewed Sep 18, 2026La amabilidad del personal fue excepcional. Además de recibir todas las atenciones del mundo nos pudimos alojar con nuestra mascota y disfrutar de unos días en Montreux.
Si hay que decir algo que no nos gustara son las cuestas para llegar al hotel desde la zona del lago pero esto no es culpa del hotel. Está perfectamente ubicado al lado de la estación de trenes.

Einrichtung war zweckmässig, aber nicht heimelig Nicht genug Haken, um Handtücher aufzuhängen Zimmer direkt an den Gleisen - bei geschlossenen Fenstern war es nicht so laut, beim Lüften schon. Gemeinschaftsbalkon war verraucht, Zigarettenstummel wurden nicht entfernt.

Der einzige Negativpunkt ist die Anreise mit dem Auto. Wir brauchten mehrere Anläufe, um das Hotel zu finden. Und dies trotz dem Navigationsgerät!

Reviewed Sep 16, 2026Sofern man mit der Bahn anreist, liegt das Hotel sehr einfach zu erreichen, am Ende des Bahnsteigs von Gleis 1. Check-in/out verlief absolut problemlos und schnell. Das Zimmer war ausreichend gross, hatte ein Doppelbett, gute Ablagemöglichkeiten. Das Bad war gross und sauber. Das Frühstück war für mich völlig ausreichend (der eine oder andere wird vielleicht die etwas eingeschränkte Auswahl monieren) und qualitativ gut. Man ist in 10 Minuten an der Seepromenade.
Ich hatte nichts zu beanstanden.

Balkonteilung mit anderen Zimmern. Garageplatz musste selber Platz gemacht werden (Wäschegitter im Wege) und 2 Autos auf einem Platz parkiert werden.

Zat nog water in de waterkoker, stof op de koffiefaciliteiten en hier en daar stof in de kamer. Melding van restaurant en bar maar dat was niet beschikbaar.

Reviewed Sep 14, 2026Good location, good omelett for breakfast. Room was clean, bathrom was spacious and modern. If you only stay for sleeping, it is enough. Staff was freindly and helpful.
The beds were quite hard and narrow, I felt like I might fall out during sleep. One bed was leaned against the lightswitch on the wall, wo as soon as I moved in the bed, the ligt would go on or off - so I changed to the other bed. It felt like there was a draft during the night and the room was quite cold. The room key did not open some of the doors you would expect it to open, which was stange.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026Die Lage direkt am Bahnhof ist perfekt, heisst aber auch dass man nicht mit offenem Fenster schlafen kann. Die Zimmer sind einfach und zweckmäßig ausgestattet. Das Auto braucht man in Montreux nicht. Achtung die Parkplätze im Hotel sind beschränkt.
Das Frühstück ist zu teuer. Wir haben jeweils in einem der Cafés in der Umgebung gefrühstückt.

Die Lage 3 Minuten zum See, 3 Minuten zum Bahnhof. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich kann das Hotel sehr empfehlen und jederzeit wieder buchen.

El desayuno bastante bien, muy buena atencion alli, tambien en la recepcion, muy amables todos. Demas esta decir que esta todo ambientado con material de Freddie Mercury, lo que lo hace mas atractivo.
Las habitaciones son muy basicas. No tienen aire acondicionado, lo cual resta un poco cuando hace mucho calor. El precio en temporada alta (durante el festival de Freddie Mercury) es bastante elevado en relacion a las habitaciones.

Twice, in less than 24 hours, cleaners walked into my room unannounced. Once while I was changing. Even when I raised this at reception the response was less than ideal. My room was in line with the path from the train station so could not open my curtains Shower was very slow to drain and was nearly overflowing after a less than 10mins shower

It was very good, the only improvement could be more power sockets - we found an extension cable in the drawer that helped but not sure if that was left by people or there on purpose.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2026Als Queen und Freddie Mercury Fans ist das Hotel ein Muss, überall gibt es Bilder und Erinnerungen an Freddie, das Zimmer nach dem Upgrade hatte einen kleinen Balkon mit fantastischer Aussicht auf den See. Das Frühstück war abwechlungsreich, der Kaffee sehr lecker und der Küchenchef machte das beste Omelette überhaupt. Wurst und Käse waren etwas dürftig vorhanden aber dafür vieles andere, v.a. sehr leckeres Brot. Der Service an der Rezeption war hervorragend. Die Garage ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig mit einer Drehscheibe und Aufzug aber letztendlich groß und hell mit direktem Aufzug zum Zimmer.
Das Hotel hat teilweise eine Jugendherbergs-Charme mit Ikea Möbeln, unser gebuchtes Zimmer war dunkel und die Betten weit auseinander, nach einem Upgrade für 100,-CHF bekamen wir ein Zimmer in der obersten Etage. Leider sind die Zimmer nicht klimatisiert und es war extrem heiß, es gab lediglich einen Ventillator im Zimmer. Der Zimmerservice hat einmal einen Putzlappen auf dem Kopfkissen vergessen (was macht der überhaupt da???) kein Toilettenpapier aufgefüllt, Handtücher fehlten.
