The location is incredible.
There isn't anything we didn't like.Its a fantastic place.
We absolutely loved our stay at the Cottage...it is such a special place...beautiful location with spectacular views. We cant wait to book our next visit.
Everything! Very clean and comfortable.
All.good
Un lieu incroyable pour se perdre au bout du monde. Superbe, dans tous les sens du terme. Fonctionnel et très confortable, même si simple pour la salle de bain par exemple. Une maison et un endroit avec une ame, l'ame Irlandaise :). Exceptionnel.
Rien / Nada / Nothing.
Wonderful traditional cottage in a scenic and peaceful location. Our family had a great stay and the property exceeded our expectations
The area the property was located in was very quiet and very beautiful part of Donegal.
Nothing all was wonderful
Everything. It was exactly as a remote cottage on the edge of the world should be. If you're looking for urbanity and modernity this probably isn't for you. If you want a peaceful break from the world around you, in traditional but stylish fashion then this is the spot for you!
It was pretty perfect tbh
na
it was all good
Amazing, peaceful location with fantastic views.

We actually got engaged my partner proposed close by on the hill and it was amasing from start to finish I will never forget the time we spent there thankyou for the amasing stay and the facilities were amasing we got to see cows horses and sheep close by woke up to mostly gorgeous weather and were impressed with the history on the place left for us to read.
Having to leave
My visit to Teachin cottage was just fabulous- there wasn't much not to like! The cottage is traditional and beautiful throughout, with all needs (from my perspective) catered for and a spectacular view to gaze at for hours. I had a change of plans with family having to cancel last minute so visited on my own and took advantage of the quiet to write, read and walk. William the owner was so accommodating taking the time to give me many local and varied walking options at my request and Mary Grace was also very responsive when I struggled to get heating to work and had the settings fixed in no time. I also particularly loved reading about the history of the cottage in the information provided and the telescope for star gazing on the dark skies without any light pollution. Hope to be back :)
Heating in updated bedroom wasn't set initially but as mentioned was fixed in no time. Perhaps shower head could be checked that it's working as best as possible? Key box a bit stiff.
Beautiful cottage in a really lovely location. Owner was really helpful with getting back in touch.
Very quaint old cottage that has been tastefully renovated. Down a country road. Really enjoyed our stay.
The astounding view of mountain and sea from the cottage, The host provided plenty of information from access to the cottage to how everthing worked and provided emergency number for house manager which we didn't need, The huge log burner kept us all cosy in the evening and there is option to purchase more fuel should you need it, its a wonderful place to spend a few days with all the quirks of a traditional stone cottage but with all modern amenities.
There was nothing we didn't like.
The place is an old cottage and was clean and in a beautiful area with great views. host quick to respond
The weather lol
A wee slice of heaven off the beaten track, with amazing views.
Teachín is a beautiful traditional cottage with excellent facilities- one of the nicest cottages I’ve stayed in. We loved the remote location up in the hills with the view looking towards Muckish Mountain. I will definitely recommend Teachín to friends and family! Go raibh míle maith agat!
Just back from a 4 day stay for 2 adults and 2 kids and we loved the place. The area was beautiful and with great views of the countryside, quiet with little to no passing traffic. The location is remote but only a few mins drive from the beach and all local amenities. The cottage itself was well equipped and clean, with a warm kitchen and living area. We were greeted by the house manager to check we had everything we needed when we arrived which was a nice touch. Very happy and would recommend to all.
