Super close to the port, very be lean and stocked with basics

Apt was great size, great location and plenty of added extras.

The steps are a consideration but the view was worth it.

Very efficient accomodation when you need to use the port in Rafina, which is just few hundred meters away. The hotel provides private transport from and to the airport for very fair price. We used the apartment before and after our journey to Andros. The amenities were very new and the apartment was very well equiped (incl. 2 toilets, very spacious shower with strong water flow, slippers, device againts mosquitos...). The communication with the owner was very good. The breakfast was ok, it also included fresh fruit.

The outside can be sometimes quite noisy (due to the proximity to the port), but the AC works very well and it can be used even at night with the windows closed (24°C, slowest program). It would be handy to have hooks for clothes behind the entry door and some yogurt for breakfast, but those are just small things :-).

Michalis was brilliant. Went way out of his way to make sure we were accommodated. He had lots of snacks and breakfast food and even organised a lift to the airport for us.

Perfect location, quiet but close to the harbour and several restaurants. Apartment spacious and very well equipped, both with appliances (excellent for a longer stay), and treats. Excellent homemade jam and chocolate cake in the fridge. Gracious host.

We only stayed one night but wished it had been for longer. We were picked up from the airport our driver/host was so charming, pleasant and helpful. We picked the apartment for its closeness to the port in Rafina, just a 6 minute walk. The apartment was spacious clean and comfortable. The host supplies small treats like home baked biscuits and jam. There was bread, croissants, crackers, and other snacks. Butter, water, milk, juice in the fridge. Really above and beyond what we expected. I highly recommend this property.

En fräsch modern lägenhet som hade allt man kan behöva. Sköna sängar och tyst och lugnt även om lägenheten ligger mitt i allt. Så nära till båtar och restauranger. Mycket gott att äta till vår frukost fanns i lägenheten. Vi blev upphämtade på flygplatsen och blev så väl bemötta. En väldigt bra start på vår semester!

Everything! Great room, clean, comfortable, beautiful view from the balcony, full table of snacks waiting, juice, breakfast, tea and coffee, fresh fruit and homemade cookies. There were even toys that my 2yo loved! The bedsheets and pillows are of good quality and we all slept like babies. The owner is very friendly and helpful! He even picked us up from the port so that we don't walk the uphill with the kids and luggage.

We had only one night here before transferring and wish we had stayed a bit longer. The property was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Mr Michalis collected us from the airport and returned us there the next morning. He suggested a nice little restaurant down near the port for dinner and the seafood was delicious. His mother made us some little sweet treats and we were spoilt for choice for breakfast. Fresh fruit cut up in the fridge, home-made jams, juice, croissants and so much more. What a wonderful host, a gorgeous property and the location was spot on, the view was lovely. Definitely a great place to stay when transiting. Super helpful host, we felt so welcome

L’accueil +++++, l’attention de l’accueil : des rafraîchissements, glaces pour les enfants, pâtisseries maison nous attendaient à notre arrivée. L’emplacement est parfait pour prendre le bateau. Enfin, plein de super tavernes sont proches du lieu pour pouvoir se restaurer!

The host went above and beyond to greet us with a pre set up crib, highchair, freshly baked goods, food in the fridge/freezer AND balloons for my kids. This was the kindest gesture we've had and we travel a lot. We will be back!

The property was perfect. Very close to the port and was fully stocked with everything you could want/need- including homemade Greek sweets! The owner even picked us up from the port. He was so kind and helpful!

Very convenient for a stopover between the airport and Rafina port. The place had everything we needed for our brief stay and is just a few minutes from the port, which was very convenient after arriving by boat. It was also great that our host provided transportation to the airport for a small additional fee.

If you book one of the ground-floor apartments, be aware that there is no outdoor space, as the apartment opens directly onto the street.

Mikalis met us at the door and was so welcoming! He showed us around and showed us all the treats (fruit, homemade biscuits etc) he had left us.

Exceptionally clean and in a great position for Rafina port. Beautiful home made biscuits and jams left by the host’s mother. Due to inclement weather our ferry was changed to a different port with an 8 1/2 hours delay. They were so helpful to us helping with rearrangements.

Everything was clean, and the apartment fit my family of five easily. Michalis left us a variety of snacks and breakfast foods, and helped us with transport to/from the airport. We also enjoyed sitting outside on the balcony and watching the ships come and go. This was an excellent place to stay on our last night in Greece.

Michalis est un super hôte, très sympathique et très arrangeant. Le logement était parfait aussi pour notre escale avant de prendre le ferry à Rafina.

Alles war super. Der Gastgeber war supe die Wohnung war super die Lage war super sehr zentral. Super nah am Hafen, Mann muss dann aber auch bedenke, das man das gepfeife hören wird von der Hafenpolizei während ein Schiff da ist. Das hätte man aber über all was nah am Hafen ist.

Man hört leider die Straße. Das ist aber das einzige ich könnte damit leben

Such a cute property. We were so comfortable and well looked after. Felt like we were living all the best parts of Greece. The location was excellent. The owner who met us at the airport took care of everything. A beautiful breakfast provided and even ice creams in the freezer. Would highly recommend especially as a stop off before getting on a ferry to the islands. Rafina was also a great area.

The nicest property we have stayed in this whole 3month trip. Everything was there to make the apartment super comfortable and then even more ..home baking, juice, Netflix close to great restaurants and to the ferry port.

Une nuit parfaite sur place avant de prendre les bateaux. Le logement est idéalement central avec une vue super sur le port. L'accueil a été très chaleureux, et on a adoré les petites attentions dans le frigo (fruits, biscuits, glaces). C'est un hôtel vraiment pratique pour commencer les vacances et se mettre en route vers les îles !

Undoubtedly the best private host experience we’ve ever had on Booking.com! The apartment is beautifully equipped and features an enormous balcony with a stunning view overlooking the Rafina port. The beds were super comfortable, and the location is absolutely top-tier, right by the port with endless options for restaurants and shops. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the incredible hospitality. We were welcomed with a wonderful homemade breakfast, coffee, tea, snacks, fresh fruit, water, and even ice cream! On top of that, our host kindly helped us arrange our airport transfer, and when it started raining, he even drove us to a fantastic local restaurant for free. We couldn't have asked for a better stay—10/10 highly recommended!

Michalis was extremely thoughtful and came to pick us up, helped us arrange for our dinner and handed us the apartment. The flat was very well equipped with a great breakfast already planned with fresh produces and home made jam and baked items.

Super lokalizacja. 5 minut od portu. Właściciel bardzo pomocny , przyjechał po nas ( za dodatkową dopłatą) na lotnisko. Wszystko wytłumaczył. Zaproponował następnego dnia pomoc w dotarciu do portu. Mogliśmy zostać chwilę dłużej w mieszkaniu. Mieszkanie wyposażone we wszystkie najpotrzebniejsze rzeczy. W lodówce woda, drzemy, masło, owoce. Do skorzystania różne ekspresy oraz kawy. Byliśmy tylko na jedną noc ale na prawdę warto. Widok z tarasu przepiękny

Aivan sataman lähellä. Pidimme kaikesta, aamupala, huoneisto, vuoteet ja 3 vuotias pojanpoika uima-altaasta "kylpyamme" isänsä kanssa. Mummille jäi suihkuhuone. Ystävällinen isäntä ja saimme kyydin lentoasemalle.

Die Unterkunft war modern und sauber, die Ausstattung war top. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. DerGastgeber Mikelis war super freundlich. Die Lager über dem Hafen ist super und abends kann man in die nahe gelegenen Tavernen etwas essen und trinken gehen.

The view from the balcony was amazing. We had such a blast. We could see our ferry before going down the street and that saves us a lot of time. The accommodation was very comfortable and meticulously clean. We had a great time. This was the best stay we had in Greece.

Nous avons séjourné chez Michalis à deux reprises: avant de prendre le ferry pour Tinos et à notre retour avec nos deux enfants de 16 mois et 4 ans. Tout était parfait: l’accueil de Michalis à l’aéroport avec des sièges auto pour nos enfants pour nous mener chez lui, un panier rempli de nourritures et fruits frais pour le dîner et petit déjeuner, les lits enfants déjà installés et la propreté de l’endroit. Toit a été rendu plus facile pour nous.

La proximité du port (pratique à la sortie du ferry), la vue depuis la terrasse, le confort et l'équipement de l'appartement au top ! Le petit déjeuner était très bon 😋.Le propriétaire Michalis est venu nous chercher et a monté nos valises dans l'appartement (situé au 2e étage) ; il nous a également déposés le lendemain à l'aéroport. Accueil formidable merci !

This is a rare find! From someone who travels all of the time, Caldera is a gem. It is everything you need in an Airbnb, especially after traveling. The units on first floor where I stayed are spacious and beautiful. We rented two units so that we had plenty of room. There were beautiful views and we were one minute away from the restaurants and platia. The units were stocked with breakfast items, water, juice etc. The owner, Mihalis, is very accommodating and wants to ensure you are enjoying your stay. Do not hesitate to stay here whether leaving from the port or for even a stay for the beaches near Rafina.

Location was fabulous only surpassed by the hospitality.

A lovely spacious and comfortable apartment right beside the port in Rafina. Michalis was an excellent host and had a huge amount of food and drinks available to us. He also arranged transport for us and was generally excellent communicate with.

Der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist grandios. Morgens Sonnenaufgang. Wer diesen richtig genießen möchte,früh zur kleinen Kirche in 700 m Entfernung. Man ist zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten am Strand , im Fährhafen oder bei den Restaurants. Zum Frühstück ist genügend Toast, selbstgemachte Kekse und Marmelade (echt lecker) , Honig etc, sowie Kaffee in verschiedenen Varianten vorhanden. Sehr sauber und gute Kommunikation mit Manager

La ubicación excelente porque la idea era tomar un ferry para ir a visitar Miconos y el departamento esta enfrente. El anfitrion impecable. Teniamos todo para desayunar y más ya que nos dejaron una increíble variedad de productos para el desayuno. Hasta galletas caseras. EXCELENTE

Large apartment on the sea front, a short stroll from the harbour, the town beach and all cafes and restaurants. Great sunny terrace, well equipped kitchen, nice comfy bed, and great shower. Mixalus was great host and organised a cheap taxi to the airport in the morning.

Sa proximité du port. C’est un sérieux avantage lorsque le bateau part tôt . L’extrême gentillesse de Mr Michalis venu nous chercher à l’aéroport et nous y ramenant 2 semaines plus tard.

Il faut cependant savoir que l’avantage de cette proximité du port a son désavantage : le bruit des bateaux lorsqu’ils arrivent et repartent .
