Tout était absolument parfait : l’accueil de Claudino qui est adorable et aux petits soins tout en restant très discret, la maison et le jardin sont superbes, la piscine magnifique et très propre avec une vue sur les vignes tellement belle, la chambre très confortable, le petit déjeuner vraiment excellent et sans oublier la cuisine de Claudino qui nous a préparé nos 2 repas du soir qui a été exceptionnelle !!! Notre meilleur souvenir de nos 2 semaines passées au Portugal ! Allez y ! Vous passerez un moment magnifique !

Los anfitriones te hacen sentir en casa. Son muy acogedores, tienen muchos detalles, se acomodan a los horarios. Si lo deseas preparan la cena (espectacular). Nuestra habitación estaba en el piso de arriba, con terraza, y unas vistas espectaculares. La piscina se agradece cuando se vuelve de hacer turismo por Braga o Guimarães, ambos muy cerca del alojamiento

Nous avons très bien été accueilli par le propriétaire et avons passé un très agréable séjour, avec un excellent petit déjeuner, avec des fruits frais et du jus d’orange naturel. Il y a aussi une piscine pour les journées très chaude. Je recommande vivement.

Un posto meraviglioso a pochi chilometri da Guimarães, immerso nella natura e nella pace. Qui tutto è curato con amore e passione da Claudino, che gestisce la struttura insieme alla moglie. Il parco, la piscina, i fiori, gli alberi da frutto… ogni dettaglio contribuisce a creare un’atmosfera speciale, dove è davvero facile staccare dalla quotidianità e vivere momenti di autentico relax. Un grazie speciale a Claudino per la sua ospitalità e per averci preparato una serata indimenticabile: una deliziosa cena a base di baccalà e sardine e ci ha fatto assaggiare anche i vini di sua produzione. Un’esperienza genuina e preziosa, fatta di sapori, natura e convivialità. E poi la colazione, curatissima e ricca di prodotti del territorio: non manca davvero nulla per iniziare la giornata nel modo migliore. Un luogo del cuore, dove ci siamo sentiti accolti come a casa. Consiglio a tutti di vivere questa esperienza!

Todo se cumplió mucho más allá de nuestras expectativas. Las atenciones de Claudino y Quiteria hicieron nuestra estancia como si estuviéramos en casa. La comida de Claudino, digna de un restaurante de guía Michelín. La libertad para usar las instalaciones, el poder cocinar nuestra propia comida, comer o cenar a la carta, incluso nos hizo un gazpacho delicioso, y el desayuno , en fin, todo lo que quisieras. Sin duda volveremos.

2eme fois et pas la dernière fois qu on apprécie l accueil 5 étoiles de Claudino et sa femme cadre bucolique et calme chambre spacieuse et confortable et grand balcon piscine presque privative petit déjeuner exceptionnel avec produits et fruits maison et en plus les hôtes nous donnent des conseils et idées de visites si on pouvait mettre 11 au lieu de 10...ça le mériterait.. un grand merci à Claudino

La maison est très jolie, dans un grand jardin, avec une belle piscine. Elle est très au calme. Notre hôte a été aux petits soins ! Le petit déjeuner est délicieux et copieux.

L'une des deux chambres que nous avions réservée avait un lit double pas très grand au lieu des deux lits simples indiqués sur Booking. Notre hôte nous a ajouté un lit simple à notre demande et nous avons donc pu bien dormir !

Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique. L’endroit est extrêmement calme et apaisant. Le jardin est magnifique, parfaitement entretenu, et offre plusieurs espaces très agréables pour se détendre. ​La piscine est super belle et très bien équipée. Sans oublier la vue qui est simplement magnifique ! Tout est sécurisé avec un portail et un parking pour la voiture. ​Côté hébergement, la chambre était d'une propreté irréprochable et confortable. Je recommande les yeux fermés !

Petit détail : le papier toilette doit être mis dans la poubelle mais cela ne nous a pas empêchés de passer un excellent séjour !

Хозяин встретил нас и провел обзор всей большой фермы. Дом построен в старинном Португальском стиле, национальная мебель, кровать, играет музыка в стиле фадо. Удобный балкон и санитарные принадлежности. Кухня общая, хорошо оборудованная. Имеется большой бассейн.

В комнате не хватает чайника и холодильника. Вечером хотелось в тижине попить чай на балконе и каждый раз приходилось поднимать чашки с гоячиь напитком на второй этаж. Комната маленькая, остановиться на одну - две ночи нормально, на больше сложнее.

A truly exceptional stay! Casal de S. Romão do Meio exceeded all our expectations. The property is beautifully restored, combining traditional Portuguese charm with modern comfort. The rooms are spotless, spacious, and tastefully decorated, and the peaceful surroundings make it the perfect place to relax. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help with recommendations for places to visit. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh local products and homemade specialties that made every morning special. Perfect place to recover from transatlantic flight. We arrived early and were greeted by Claudino, his wife and his daughter, and were served delicious cake and homemade Port wine. After a nap in our comfortable, very quiet room, Claudino took us for a tour of his vineyard, gardens, and antique-filled home. Breakfast was generous and superb. We'll be back, Claudino!

Foi uma experiência inesquecível, com muita atenção personalizada e cuidado com cada detalhe. Adoramos os quartos aconchegantes e a bela área externa com vista para as montanhas. Guinmarães é de fácil acesso e linda, assim como Braga e o Parque Nacional da Peneda-Gerês. O café da manhã estava delicioso; apreciamos o queijo de cabra e o leite de aveia, um gesto muito atencioso. As habilidades culinárias do anfitrião eram incríveis, assim como a bela decoração da mesa e a música romântica. Ele cozinhou a nosso pedido. Fomos verdadeiramente mimados e eles merecem nota 10 como anfitriões. Junto com sua doce e gentil esposa, eles formam um casal encantador e criaram um lugar maravilhoso. Adoraríamos voltar. Com carinho, Paul e Ankie Het was een onvergetelijke ervaring, met veel persoonlijke aandacht en zorg voor elk detail. We waren dol op de knusse kamers en de prachtige buitenruimte met uitzicht op de bergen. Guimarães is gemakkelijk te bereiken en prachtig, net als Braga en het Nationaal Park Peneda-Gerês. Everything was beyond perfect. Quiet location, quiet heating system, comfortable bed, lovely furnishings. Claudino was a truly wonderful and amazing host. Took care of every need with a smile, often before I had asked. Outstanding breakfasts, and with special arrangements Claudino hosted a delicious and memorable meal for me and a group of my colleagues and friends.

Claudinho is een top gastheer en straalt dat in alles uit, aan alles is gedacht. Laat je verwennen door zijn kookkunsten en geniet van zijn wijnen. Fantastische plek om tot rust te komen. Loop door zijn wijngaard en moestuin en laat je verrassen door alles wat deze te bieden heeft, je mag alles proeven.

Claudino è stato gentilissimo, attento ai nostri gusti e pronto a soddisfare le nostre richieste. La struttura è interamente ristrutturata e dotata di ogni confort, incluso il locale lavanderia e una piscina all'aperto. Nel complesso l'ambiente è caldo e accogliente. Consiglio di assaporare la cucina di Claudino ne vale la pena ... colazione super .....

Tout tout et tout. Toi était vraiment parfait : des chambres magnifiques et joliment decorees, des salles de bains privatives très propres, une piscine Très très grande et belle, dans un cadre arboré avec des treilles de vignes, d’arbres fruitiers multiples : kiwi…. Et tout cela avec un hôte qui vous reçoit comme des rois : présentation de sa quita, verre d’accueil avec son dessert maison… avec le sourire, l’envie de vous faire plaisir et une épouse qui parle avec passion du Portugal et de voyage avec ses résidents. Plus qu’un havre de paix : Un véritable petit coin de Paradis !!! Une note de 11/10 devrait leurs être attribuer 😧.

Gostamos de tudo. Do pequeno almoço Da simpatia do sr Claudino O espaço é muito acolhedor, limpo. Sentimos mesmo paz e tranquilidade. Temos também a zona de churrasco que utilizamos bastante e proporciona momentos de convívio inesquecíveis e maravilhosos. A piscina também é bastante agradável e muito bem cuidada. Tanto o espaço em volta como a piscina em si. E claro, a companhia do Noddy nos pequenos almoços também é qualquer coisa, muito calmo e acolhedor. Gostamos muito da estadia. Sem dúvida que vamos voltar. Muito obrigado.

Everything was excellent or beyond excellent. The welcome, with a drink and cake, was a pleasant and unexpected surprise. The service was always impeccably friendly. The facilities, located in a rural area where plants from different parts of the world abound, are a very pleasant bonus for those who love nature and are looking for a quiet place to rest.

Wyjątkowe miejsce, prowadzone przez przeuroczego Claudino. Miejsce na wzgórzu, które posiada piękny widok na winnice. Pokoje wyglądają lepiej niż na zdjęciach, a w samym miejscu warto zatrzymać się na dłużej, niż jedną noc. Pyszne śniadanie, wiele sezonowych i regionalnych produktów. Można porozumieć się z właścicielem, który także przygotowuje kolację na życzenie.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Der Besitzer kümmert sich hingebungsvoll um seine Gäste und hat ein kleines Paradies im Grünen geschaffen. Der Garten mit den frischen Früchten, die man sich selbst pflücken kann, ist eine Pracht. Ein großer Pool sorgt für Abkühlung. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Guter Ort um von dort in verschiedene Richtungen Ausflüge zu unternehmen.

Me encantó la paz y tranquilidad que se respira en este lugar, todo muy limpio, la piscina impecable, la comida, tanto desayunos como cenas son excepcionales, con productos caseros, de buena calidad y cocinados con esmero. La atención de Claudino, de 10, siempre intentando que sus huéspedes estén cómodos y a gusto. Espectacular el jardín con huerto, árboles frutales y numerosos rincones para descubrir. Una estancia de 4 días muy agradable. Para repetir.

Purtroppo i navigatori cercano sempre di farti fare la strada più complicata per arrivare Per privacy la camera viene rifatta ogni 5 giorni ma basta chiedere ed il problema è risolto Purtroppo non si può gettare la carta igienica nel wc ma a quanto abbiamo visto è molto comune fuori dalle grandi città

It is just done with so much love and care, a farm to explore with little nooks and crannies to discover everywhere and everything is thought of, the owners making fresh water with the herbs from the farm, serving their products and explaining everything about the plants growing there if you’re interested. And they were so welcoming to my dog too. A little paradise ❤️

Wow! This is an amazing place, lovingly curated by the owner. Full of interesting antiques and beautiful items. We had the most relaxing stay and I had the best sleep I have had in weeks. The pool is wonderful and the rooms are so comfortable. It's great having use of a kitchen. The gardens are beautiful, rustic and fantastic for wildlife. Which means at night when you sit under the pretty lights at the pergola by the pool you can appreciate nature like the wonderful sounds of the nightjar birds an midwife toads. The breakfast was wonderful and we really appreciated the wine and cake on arrival. It was just what we needed after a long day. We left feeling refreshed and looked after. Such a beautiful location with a wonderful far reaching view over the quintas own vineyard. This would be a great place to stay for a few nights and just enjoy the peace, garden, vistas and pool and if you can't manage that then come and stay and escape busy Braga. We plan to return with friends, especially as we can bring our dogs.

I liked everything about this place. The hospitality was over and above any I have experienced. On arrival Claudio greeted us and offered home made cuisine plus wines and Port. He had a wonderfully friendly character and was so attentive and informative about the region. The rooms were lovely plus comfortable beds. The location was really beautiful with Claudios vineyards and garden so relaxing to walk through. The swimming pool was again perfect; crystal clear and large. The website does not justify how great this place is. We were all so impressed with the location; hospitality and wish we had booked for more nights! Thank you Claudio! 100% perfect!

The host was waiting for us and gave us a superb reception with a tour of the grounds and a sit down tasting of his finery produce .. The best reception we have ever had in our many years of travels Property Position , and views were lovely . Facilities were perfect Thank you wish we could have stayed a week or more ..

קלאודיניו המארח איש חם ומקסים. קיבל אותנו בלבביות, רגיש לפרטים. על השולחן שאליו הזמין אותנו מיד עם הגעתנו היו דגל פורטוגל ודגל המדינה שלנו. הוא כיבד אותנו ביין תוצרת היקב שלו ובעוגה שהוא אפה מיד עם הגעתנו. החדר נעים ולא חדר מלון סטנדרטי. לחדר מרפסת מדהימה. גם ארוחת הבקר היתה מצויינת. טרם עזיבתנו קלאודיניו דאג לנו למסלול טיולים בעיר גיימאראש ובנקודות עניין בה והכל בשפתנו.

Claudino was such a wonderful host. He showed us around his beautiful property which included fruit trees, a vineyard and a pool. We had our own patio and livingroom as well as access to the kitchen. Fell in love with his little dog, Noddy(sp?). Claudino made dinner for us that was outstanding and very reasonable. Each morning he provided a delicious breakfast. We had such a relaxing time! It was a perfect location to explore Braga and Guimaraes. Claudino also provided information on worthwhile things to see for both places. Also, our bed was very comfortable. Another bonus was private parkinIg. I wish we could’ve stayed longer!

As advertised. Lovely stay with sensational views. Breakfast is a feast and our hosts were very helpful. The property is at the top of the hills but easy to navigate and very private.

Fomos muitíssimo bem recebidos pelo Srº Claudino, que nos mostrou todas as instalações disponíveis para os hóspedes, assim como o jardim. Ficámos num quarto excelente, com acesso a uma linda e espaçosa varanda, na qual nos podíamos deleitar com a soberba paisagem que se estendia a perder de vista. Adorei o simpático Nodi, o cãozinho do do Srº Claudino que nos recebia sempre com uma grande festa. Os pequenos almoços muito bons, com um sumo excelente proveniente das laranjas da propriedade. Numa das noites jantámos no Casal, confecionado pelo Srº Claudino e melhor era impossível. Ficámos com muita vontade de voltar.

Casa muito bonita e cuidada, com lindos jardins. Paisagem maravilhosa. Anfitrião muito simpático, que nos recebeu impecavelmente com bolo caseiro e vinho da região. Óptimo pequeno almoço, com muita variedade, sumo natural com frutas da propriedade, ovos, fruta.

The property is absolutely gorgeous. It’s on the top of a mountain with views of the surrounding valleys and towns. The property is an eco retreat full of flowers and flowering trees, orange and lemon trees, vineyards and art of different mediums. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. The host, Claudino, is gracious and attentive, and the breakfasts are extensive and delicious.

There’s nothing not to like. People should keep in mind though that having such a gorgeous view means you’re driving up a mountain. But we’re so glad we stayed here!

Very well maintained property in a quiet place. Beautiful surroundings. Hosts were exceptional. Never met such sweet hosts. They went out of their way and specially brought one Indian flag to be kept on dining table reserved for us. Would definitely like to go back. Highly recommended for people with car.

Mooie kamer, heerlijk bed en goeie badkamer. Grote douche toilet en bidet. 2 comfortabele stoelen in de kamer. Ook 2 heerlijke oor stoelen met een tv in een aparte kamer. Uitzicht op een wijngaard, zwembad zag er mooi uit. Je kan een wandeling maken over het landgoed, tussen de wijnranken door. Heerlijk ontbijt, mooie ontbijtkamer. Behulpzame host en heel vriendelijk. 1 avond het diner gegeten bij Claudino, hij had zelf het diner klaargemaakt. Was lekker. Rustige omgeving. Wij komen graag nog een keer terug.

We arrived and were welcomed with wine and pastries. Our host wanted to make sure we were comfortable and showed us around the property and grounds. You could use the large kitchen if you wanted to cook or store any food items. Each morning we were served a generous breakfast in the eclectic dining room, this included fruits from his garden. He made a beautiful cake on our second morning. Tips were given for visiting the sights and a local restaurant which we loved and we seemed to be the only non Portuguese people in there!

The style was eclectic and this may not be to everyone's taste however we loved it.

A simpatia do dono do alojamento. O gosto em receber os clientes fez-nos sentir em casa. o sossego da zona. A estadia foi curta, mas é de certeza um local ótimo para passar umas férias sossegadas.

O barulho do quadro eléctrico. A mistura de decoração. Alguma desorganização do espaço exterior, que poderá estar relacionada com o temporal que se tem vivido na zona.

O alojamento tem todas as comodidades num ambiente só estilo antigo mas tudo em excelente estado. O Sr. Claudino é um anfitrião 5 estrelas e tratou de nós de forma exemplar, sempre presente e prestável. Recomendo vivamente. A revisitar no verão para poder usufruir da magnífica piscina.

El trato cordial, amable y cercano de los propietarios, las instalaciones impecables, el servicio de restauración inmejorable (con vino de cosecha propia) y todo en un ambiente de paz y tranquilidad.
